Hotels With Breakfast in Tyrol, Austria

The Alphotel Innsbruck is probably the worst hotel we've ever stayed at! But we had no choice since we were on a tour package and this was the hotel that Gate1 chose for our itinerary. We weren't the only tour members who did not have a good stay at this hotel. Our tour group had a long day and we were scheduled to arrive late so we were all pretty tired when we arrived. Unfortunately the room we were assigned to didn't even look or feel exceptionally clean and I'm surprised I didn't take photos of the room! Comparing posted photos of the rooms on TA our room looked much older and didn't even have a real chair, but only one of those small round ottomans. And that ottoman was dirty and stained, so we didn't want to sit on that! The bedspread had that ”ick” factor, so we removed it but at least the sheets were clean. Carpet looked grungy so we made sure to wear our slippers and not walk barefoot on it. Regret not taking pictures of the room now. We've stayed at hotels with older or ”tired” decor but they were at least neat and clean, but not at this hotel! Now the ”fun” part was our bathroom door. I was getting ready to take a shower and went into the bathroom, but wanted to use my own soap and toiletries, so I went out of the bathroom and my husband (who was standing in front of the bathroom, looking at the closet or something right across from the bathroom) shut the opaque glass bathroom door. I went back to the bathroom and tried to open the door and it was locked! It was one of those simple privacy type locks where there's usually a pinhole that you can usually press and it'll pop open. Unfortunately, there was no pinhole but a screw so I tried twisting the screw but the door remained locked. Husband tried but it kept turning and he didn't have any tools so he called the front desk and they sent the maintenance guy up. The maintenance guy looked at the door and tried twisting the screw with the same results and said he needed to go get his tools. He returned with his small toolbox and tried several screwdrivers, with no luck. Then he tried using a small drill to remove the screw and still couldn't get the door unlocked. Meanwhile, we were sitting on the bed and watching tv since there was nothing else we could do. I texted our friends who were also traveling in the tour group and assigned to the room right next door to let them know what was happening. And to apologize to them for the loud racket, as the maintenance guy went and got his large power drill and was basically removing the entire door knob and panel. So the guy had to destroy the whole door knob panel because the door lock screw or nut inside the panel was probably stripped and couldn't unlock or open the door; so if I was on the other side of the door I would have been stuck in the bathroom! My husband and I stayed 3 nights in a deluxe room with Mountain View’s it was super clean and very spacious. The staff couldn’t do enough for you Jonas at reception was just amazing and so so helpful 👍 We had a few drinks down at the bar and the staff there were always ready to help even though it was a busy weekend with the ski jump competition all the staff were amazing love this hotel. We didn’t have breakfast there but I’m sure it would of been good. The hotel is only like a block or two from the train station so that was another plus and to walk to down town Innsbruck was an easy stroll. Went to the ****** but it wasn’t a winner 😩😩😩 Will definitely stay there again if in Innsbruck 👍

Well located in the old town. A 10 minute walk from the main train station. Reasonably priced. Close to many restaurants and interesting sites. Luggage storage available. We did not have breakfast there. Darius, at the front desk, was superb. Very helpful, offering suggestions about hikes, bike trips and sites. He is dedicated to customers. I hope the hotel realizes his value. The room was older but adequate. The doors in the shower didn't close so there was some water on the floor. No AC but that is typical of many hotels in Austria and Germany and they provided a fan. Free eBikes were great. The paths along the river, on both sides, offered great views and enabled us to ride for hours. I would definitely stay there again.

If the dulcet tones of ”YMCA” by the Village People thumping in your room is the thing that sends you off to slumberland, then the Austria Trend Innsbruck is the place for you! We noticed the raging wedding party upon our arrival just before midnight, and asked about the noise. The person at the desk assured us we would not hear it in our room. So off we went to room 411 where the sound was loud enough that I could identify the song (”Footloose”). After complaining at the front desk, and being assured they would instruct the DJ to turn down the volume, a few additional minutes made it clear we would not be able to sleep. In the end, they moved us to room 325 on the other side of the building, where we could only barely hear the ongoing matrimonial bacchanalia. The question is, why weren't we put in that much more silent location from the start? Instead, we were forced to repack our things, trundle down to another floor, and lose (in total) 45 minutes of sleep when we had a very early start the next day. I hope the management will consider guests like us the next time there is a wedding party in their lobby and place them in a room where one is actually able to sleep.

Comfortable rooms, great service and good facilities. The bar, pool area and reception all are lovely. Just round the corner to the old town and shopping, restaurants very close by. You can walk to the funicular station for Nordkette. I was very impressed with the excellent service at reception and the bar

Hotel location is quite good, the room is still decent, the single room is not without any view, but also quiet. The air conditioner is German and I don't know how to operate it. The room is not warm in winter, and the air conditioner does not know how to operate heating. The bathroom is quite big, but fortunately there is a warm clothes in the bathroom. The beds are soft, as is Austria.

We originally had our main hotel stay booked in Hintertux. We were paying a lot for the hotel and after considering our long journey from Australia, we figured it may make sense to stay close to the airport at Innsbruck for our first day to get some sleep and continue our journey to Hintertux the next morning. We saved quite a bit of money making this decision and made a great choice! We walked to Penz West from the airport with four suitcases and four back packs. It was five minutes on foot and that was in thick snow! The room was way beyond our expectations for a hotel so close to the airport. It was very spacious, beautifully decorated and included breakfast that was simply magnificent. The hotel also had a wellness area including sauna, steam room, cold plunge shower and a gym. The price was extremely reasonable given all it had to offer us. The staff were very helpful and gave us some local tips about the town of Innsbruck (beautiful Christmas markets) and some mountain trips. We were too tired to do the mountain trips but enjoyed Innsbruck. We could easily have spent more time in this beautiful place and would not hesitate to book Penz West again if we are travelling this route. Mr 11 and 12 year old loved this place!

We booked a Panorama Deluxe room for 3 nights, checking in on Sept. 20th. The property is centrally located along the train station and features a parking directly connected by elevator. The “piece de resistance” of this tall building is clearly its stunning view on the town and surrounding mountains. We were lodged in room 1104 on the 11.th floor which is the top floor featuring rooms, as the 12th accommodates the lounge/restaurant where breakfast is also served. Curiously, the hotel doesn’t have a lobby in a traditional sense: the concierge & cashier counter can be found in a small separate office on the basement and the elevators to the rooms are located in a small hall, across a glass door, which opens directly on Brunecker Street. Access security to the floors being managed by room key-card, you can enter/exit the property and the parking with no contact to any staff at all. Our room was a corner one, rather large, beautifully architected and nicely furnished in a contemporary metropolitan style. From virtually any point of the room (bathroom included) it was possible to spot some additional detail of the stunning panorama. The room was comfortable and quiet (in spite of the near busy train station), breakfast was good and we definitively had a very good time here in Innsbruck.

A great boutique hotel with individual flair. Located 10 minutes walk from Innsbruck hauptbahnhof the hotel has rooms that are decorated with various themes. My room was a cosy corner room with a stunning view of the mountains. The younger guests were making use of the garden bar which had a relaxed atmosphere. The bed was super comfy and a good bathroom with high quality shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The hotel has other amenities I didn't use but were available. On checking in you are offered a welcome drink and the service was excellent. 10/10 would stay again

A very good experience, very convenient when registering for accommodation; the waiter is very friendly and has a feeling of being at home. Unfortunately, I had to leave early this time and didn't have breakfast. Next to it is a big supermarket!

We had a very comfortable stay in a triple room overlooking the mountains and the gardens and houses and apartments at the back of the hotel. It was quiet at night, and we all slept comfortably. The room is well proportioned for a family of three. My only quibble is that the beds could do with more than one pillow per person; and a coffee/tea station is need for the price that is charged per night. The bar downstairs is very nice for an evening drink. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to all amenities. I can't vouch for the breakfast as we didn't book breakfast, and we went to the local cafe Ruetz around the corner on the little square which is fabulous.

We have been guests again after many years and have not been disappointed. There is a beautiful new spa area, still there is the dreamy outdoor pool - the afternoon swimming in the dams I will miss very much. The suite was very modern and yet adapted to the ”Austrian” environment. The decorations were created by Mrs. Pfurtscheller personally, an absolute eye highlight to Sylvester. Our service (Karl-Heinz, Olivia, Kostas and Jürgen from the bar) was mega nice and premature. The food offered more than the heart does. The midnight second sylvester menu, as well as the great firework was TOP - all in all a very nice holiday. The only small criticism point, at coffee time, was the one or other guest in the bathroom in the restaurant or bar area. I felt not so suitable for a 5* hotel.

My entire family loved the Interalpen Hotel. The grounds of the hotel are absolutely breathtaking. The service is impeccable. The views are stunning. We loved this hotel. It was very family friendly and we felt it met our every need. The breakfasts and dinners are top notch. The meal and housekeeping service was wonderful. The pool and spa area is incredible. We loved hanging around the hotel and didn't want to leave. But if you do choose to leave, there are a lot of fun family activities as well, like visiting Seefeld nearby, and if you have a car you can also visit Area 47 and the longest alpine coaster in the world. Thank you Interalpen Hotel for a lovely and luxurious stay.

We've stayed in Seefeld for many years but this was the first time staying in this hotel, although we have used the pool facilities on previous stays. We arrived by train which is a 5 min walk from the hotel, but they insisted on sending a car to collect us and help with our luggage. This was above and beyond great customer service!! The welcome we received from the staff on reception was exceptional. It was apparent that they wanted to make every effort to ensure we had a good stay. Welcome drink was offered on arrival. We booked half board and the food was wonderful every night. Good choice for mains and drinks included which was a real bonus. The free afternoon cake was delicious (pay for drinks) and was enough to keep you going until dinner time. Breakfast was great too with all the usual offerings in an Austrian hotel. We had the same table everyday for breakfast and dinner and the waitress who was on every morning and evening for the whole week we stayed, was very pleasant and attentive. She looked after us really well. We used the whirlpool everyday and the new quiet lounge in the pool area was lovely to chill out in. The hotel is perfectly situated in the middle of the town. Overall this hotel offers great value for money. Can't recommend it enough. We've booked to come back in summer 2024. More

My son was not well. N the receptionists did all they can to call us doctors . My son is good now. Thank God The reception. Are Just simply amazing. We stayed from 19 to 20 May. I m still here but I can’t wait write a good review Because my son was not well. He can’t do the 5 courses dinner. I went down to grab a quick dinner. I told the manger n waitress. They are so kind. N allowed me to bring bread n soup up. I ended up with good toasted bread. They offered. How nice of them. Now back to hotel itself. The tea break was lovely. The dinner wonderful I had my own dinner. My hubby n I took turn to eat as our son not well. But really nice food n service. We are 100% coming back here again Oh the pool. The indoor n outdoor. It’s wonderful. My son enjoyed himself Welcome drinks offered. Hotel rooms old style but the toilets n many things are obviously renovated Shower is great bed is great There’s nothing I don’t like I travel a fair bit around Europe. We really enjoyed our stay at the Seefeld Post with its position right in the centre of the village – bars, shops and restaurants on the doorstep. We had a Rosshutte room and it appeared that the room had been renovated in the fairly recent past. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious with a very comfy bed and plenty of storage. There was a kettle and cups for those who need it. The balcony had a table and 2 chairs with a lovely view toward the Roshutte. We particularly liked the ensuite shower room, the toilet was separate. Food was very good with plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet. At breakfast we chose our evening meal main course. The Evening meal salad buffet starter is very good this followed by a soup course and desert always help yourself from the buffet. Our waiter was mostly Anton who looked after us very well although the other staff were very nice too. We must not forget the ladies and young gentlemen on reception who always had a smile when we passed This is a great hotel if you want to be in the centre of the village (no problems with noise in our room 204) with loads of walks for all abilities in the surrounding mountains.

Got to spend 2 days at this hotel with EF tours. Very nice hotel, but the person that went above and beyond to make it that way was Dominic on the night shift. He was extremely polite and helpful with everyone he came in contact with. We came down for a few drinks and within that two hours we saw him bartending, fixing laundry machines, taking in new guests, and fixing a guest’s shower. Wonderful experience!

Spectacular views of the Inn river valley and of the surrounding Alps from BIG panoramic windows (get an upper floor room if you can - amazing), 60 second walk from the walled old town. Very clean and modern and comfortable. Reasonably good breakfast. Downstairs parking was super-convenient. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Good location, near the museum of Swarovski... gentle staff but not very present .. In the sense that even at breakfast it was almost never seen and therefore little interaction. The rooms were large and clean.bathroom with bathroom .beautiful furniture.bathroom varied and abundant a few brioches.There is an anxhe spa with only two saunas and an infrared but just to get off the spine. Water and towels are found there and also covered on the beds to be dressed. Eyes to covers.. some had hair /capelli .for nothing pleasant. The spa opens at 5, a little late. Prices a little above the average.

Short trip to the Christmas market to Innsbruck. We liked the connection of the hotel to the public transportation. All 15 minutes by bus to the center. The hotel welcomes its guests with very friendly staff, clean rooms and beautiful atmosphere. Wi-Fi and parking outside the hotel are free. Breakfast does not open wishes. Go to come back.
