Guest UserMy stay at the Wiesler Hotel went beyond my expectations. I booked the tiny room because I am not fussy about having a big room. When I entered the room I was disappointed because the bed was above ground level and that it's a no no for lumbago sufferers, such as I. The size was actually quite decent, certainly no 'tiny' at all, and so was the bathroom but the bed put me off. I walked down to the reception desk, and I asked for an upgrade. I told the senior gentleman at the desk (could he be the general manager or even the owner?) that I did no like the bed without footboard. He was most understanding and he issued 2 keys for me to check and to choose from the Comfort bedroom and the Grand bedroom. I chose the former -the bed had a proper footboard, legs and headboard. He offered me to stay at the Grand for the same price of the Comfort, I was very pleased by the kind offer but I said that I was happy to go for the Comfort. As he insisted I accepted the Grand bedroom, which has the size of a one-bed apartment.
The location is spot on: it's right in the city centre with views to the river Mur in front. I had the buffet breakfast in my last day too and I highly recommend it if you enjoy a good quality and varied breakfast.
I've tried the local red wine too at the bar in the lounge, which was excellent and at a surprising low price- after all this is Austria!
The decoration of the rooms aren't the typical you find in a 4 stars hotel with history and the curious eye has seen in the lobby's beautiful colour lithographs that the hotel has changed its style a few times over the last century. But it won't put me off to stay back tat the Weisler next time I am in Graz.

The room was excellent, with a beautiful lake view right outside the window. I could even hear birds chirping melodically during the day. Breakfast was also good, making it perfect for a vacation! The only downside was that the room service (or rather, the lack of thorough housekeeping) wasn't very attentive. If you needed anything, you had to ask the front desk. One evening, I asked the front desk for a box of tissues and was told they didn't have any available (apparently, they're only replenished during daytime cleaning).

Rachelle YWe booked this hotel at the last minute after a change in our itinerary. It was the most affordable option in the area, so we didn't have particularly high expectations. To our surprise, it exceeded them in every way.
We are a family of four and booked a one-bedroom apartment. Both the bedroom and living room were spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to move around comfortably. The apartment also had a well-equipped kitchen with a good selection of appliances, cookware, and cutlery. After eating out for many days, we were craving something different, so we picked up a few ingredients from the supermarket and cooked a simple but delicious dinner ourselves.
The hotel is located on top of a mountain, and I imagine a room with a view would be an amazing bonus. Unfortunately, because of our last-minute booking, we could only get a room facing the back. That said, it was very quiet, and everything else about our stay was excellent.
The reception staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout our stay. Sadly, we didn't have enough time to enjoy the hotel's facilities, such as the sauna and swimming pool. We only stayed for one night before continuing with our trip, which was a real shame.
We hope to come back in the future and stay a little longer next time.

Guest UserThe hotel is conveniently located near the train station, just a 5-minute walk away. There's also a supermarket right at the station. The room was spacious, and the hotel even has a kitchen for guests to use for cooking. It's about a 25-minute walk to the castle, which is easily manageable without needing to take a bus or taxi.

I recently stayed at [Hotel Name], and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The customer service was absolutely terrible—staff were rude, abrupt, and completely unhelpful when dealing with issues. Rather than resolving concerns professionally, they argued with guests, even when they were clearly in the wrong.
Additionally, the hotel’s website is misleading. It states that parking is free, but upon arrival, I was charged €10 per night without any prior notice. The parking spaces are also far too small, making it difficult to park properly, especially if you arrive late at night.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. A hotel stay should be stress-free, but the lack of communication, poor service, and hidden fees made this an unpleasant experience.

Guest UserThe location is not the best. Good if you like a quieter stay, but in terms of convenience it's not too great. 15-20 minute walk from the central station, and the city centre is in the opposite direction. You can take public transport fairly easily, but it is also basically necessary to take public transport to get anywhere apart from the supermarket downstairs.
However, the hotel itself is very nice. Modern and well furnished rooms, with helpful facilities including a washing machine (you need to download an app and pay through it). Staff were also very helpful, helped me with luggage storage and to print my train ticket for my next destination. If you don't mind the location, I would recommend the stay here, it is nice value for money.

LiuxiafengVery satisfied overall: great location, friendly front desk, clean rooms, and good value for money. The only things that could be improved are the breakfast, which was just average, and the north-facing room windows, which weren't very soundproof, leading to some noise from outside at night.

Guest UserThe room was spacious, but upon check-in, I noticed a strange door inside the room. I requested a room change, but none were available. I then tried to check out a day early, which was also not allowed. There was only one complimentary bottle of water; additional bottles had to be purchased at the front desk. Overall, the hygiene was good, and the breakfast was varied and served for an extended period. The city center is lovely, but all the supermarkets and shops are closed on Sundays.
