PaulJacoobMy stay at Jata Hotel in Tirana was absolutely exceptional. The service was outstanding – the owners are extremely helpful, kind, and show remarkable personal culture, making you feel at home from the very first moment. The terrace offers a wonderful panoramic view of the city, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or relaxing in the evening.
Breakfast was a real delight – the freshly baked croissants were simply delicious, and the coffee was rich and flavorful. It’s also worth mentioning that the value for money is excellent – for such a high standard of service, comfort, and hospitality, the prices are surprisingly low.
I highly recommend this hotel – it’s a place you’ll definitely want to come back to!

Guest UserStopped for one night, the location is convenient, close to the bus station.
The room is not big, there is a tea and tea. Big shopping center, 5 minutes by taxi, 20 walk. There is a restaurant at the hotel, but we arrived late and dinner didn't manage, the hostess is very social.

Everything was really good! The room offered a wonderful view of the central square. The room itself was clean, and the staff were friendly and upbeat. Free parking was a nice bonus. The only downside was the very, very basic breakfast. I would have liked at least some hot fried eggs.

I recently stayed at the Starlight Hotel during my brief trip to Tirana and overall had a very good experience. The hotel is clean, cozy, and in a perfect location, close to restaurants and shops. Although it’s situated in an alley, taxis can easily drop you off at the entrance.
The room was very clean and comfortable. Shampoo, conditioner, and towels were provided, but be sure to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and personal toiletries. I also appreciated that housekeeping checked in thoughtfully, even when the sign wasn’t on the door.
The dining area is open and easy to access when you enter the hotel. While most of the staff, especially at reception, were pleasant and welcoming, I did have one less positive experience with a restaurant waiter who seemed unfriendly, varying attitude and inattentive.
One suggestion would be to provide phone chargers or universal adapters at the front desk or in the rooms, as many international travelers may need them. Additionally, guests should be mindful of noise, but I would encourage management to handle noise concerns carefully, as sometimes guests may not realize sound carries.
Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay. I would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Tirana.

Guest UserI booked a Deluxe Double Room and liked the size as well as the amenities. At first the receptionist said to me that Trip.com informed them a Triple Bed Room so I got three beds when I went in the room. Later on, a service lady quickly converted them to a king bed with a sofa. Breakfast is English-style buffet, nothing neither special nor bad. In general, I enjoyed staying in Mondial Hotel.

There are a lot of minuses, let's start with the main ones. If you are a blonde, please wear a cap if you go to the pool. I have an ash blonde that I have been trying to achieve for many years, but after their pool my hair turned green. I don't know what they add to the pool!
At the time of check-in, when paying in $ cash, they told me that we accept either local currency or €. I decided to pay by card, but the hotel took an extra $30, I didn't notice right away, but as soon as I noticed, I wrote to technical support. When technical support contacted the hotel, the hotel denied that they took an extra $30 from me. Despite the fact that I have a receipt for payment for $30 more and a bank statement. They denied that they took $30 from me, despite the fact that I have all the evidence. When I personally went to the reception to sort it out, they told me that it wasn't them who took $30, but they should have taken $30 because they were converting from dollars to euros from euros to their local currency and this conversion would cost $30. But supposedly the bank was billing me this amount, not the hotel itself, although the bill itself was billed on behalf of the hotel. I didn't like that at all. There were no slippers in the rooms, by the way, they didn't deny that they didn't have slippers. Very strange behavior from the staff. Their breakfasts only last 2 hours and cost €10, but for some reason the breakfast is extremely meager, it's easier to have breakfast for the same amount in a nearby cafe.

The room was okay and everything but they wouldnt let us use the AC. I turned it on at night cuz my kids sleep better when its cooler, and they came up the stairs and shut the power off to our room. We needed our phones charged for the next day as we had big plans the next morning and we woke up to them dead. Also, on top of no power and AC or wifi, they yelled at us for leaving 2 shopping bags of garbage. Saying she just rents the rooms, shes not a maid. I was unaware that there was public dumpsters on the streets- I thought they were business owned like in the states where if you put trash in it you get fined. She also got mad that I stripped the beds before we left and I think was saying she had someone coming in an hour and now she will have to make them wait. So the whole experience was of that of staying at someones house when they dont want you there. Also I paid a $10 deposit and they didnt return it.

The overall vibe was pretty good; it's a hostel setup, and a lot of people hang out and chat on the balconies on the first and second floors at night. The room I booked was huge with three beds, and had all the basic necessities, though it wasn't particularly aesthetic, which didn't bother me. The front desk was really helpful and arranged my airport pickup! It's quite central, so I could walk to the starting points for my day trips to North Macedonia and Kosovo. Overall, I'd recommend it; it's good value for money! I also highly recommend the fish restaurant just a three-minute walk away (look for the one with a 4.9 rating on Google Maps, on the street corner)—it practically became my canteen, haha!
