"I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and the room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. One thing I really appreciated was the small fridge in the room stocked with drinks—you can simply enjoy what you like and pay for it at checkout, which was super convenient. The rooftop was definitely a highlight. It offers a stunning overlooking view that’s perfect for relaxing, taking photos, or enjoying the scenery day or night. Downstairs, there’s also a great bar where you can chill, unwind, and grab a drink without even leaving the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service, comfort, and amazing view. I’ll definitely be coming back and with friends next time!"

"Location-wise was really inconvenient if you do not have a car. It is located on an extremely busy highway, and it is a trek along the roadside to get to the bus depot or the bus stop. It is a 5min walk from the bus depot that has airport shuttles, which would take you about 30-45 minutes either way. It takes around 40 minutes to get into the city from the bus stop. The breakfast really did not meet standards for a Mercure hotel; the variety was extremely limited, and the food didn't seem very fresh either. I wouldn't bother with paying the extra for breakfast. The room was clean and seemed new from the smell, and it was very decent. The gym was quite unhygienic. I had the room to myself, but there were used towels and cups everywhere, and the ventilation wasn't great."

"My friend arrived two days later, so I had the whole place to myself for a day. The view was great, and there's a huge museum nearby, but it was under renovation when I visited, so I couldn't go in."

"Very nice hotel, clean and a pleasant staff. They provided good customer service and they have a good an affordable taxi drop off and pick up service. Their front desk staff is very courteous and all the staff at the hotel as well. Their breakfast meal was nice and tasty I feel they can do better in terms of variety. I enjoyed my stay at Troci and would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Albania 😊."

"We booked a total of 5 nights through Trip.com. Unfortunately, 3 of those nights were unsuitable for proper rest due to serious problems with the room. There was an extremely strong and unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, which persisted for a long time. We reported the problem several times to the reception and also contacted the hotel by email, but unfortunately the issue was not adequately resolved. The smell was so strong that when we left the hotel, our clothes and personal belongings had absorbed the unpleasant smell, as well as the strong scent of the air freshener that was used to try to cover it. We fully understand that a technical problem or unpleasant smell may not necessarily be caused directly by the hotel. However, we believe that dealing with such a problem properly and in a timely manner is the hotel's responsibility. We booked this hotel in order to relax and enjoy our holiday, but unfortunately this was not possible. This was particularly difficult as we were travelling with our 8-year-old child, and our sleep was significantly disturbed for 3 nights. Despite reporting the problem several times, we did not receive any compensation or adequate solution from the hotel during our stay. We were also disappointed with the breakfast. We found the selection to be very limited and repetitive, and in our opinion it did not meet the standard we would reasonably expect from a 5-star hotel. Overall, we feel that the quality of the service and the conditions during our stay did not correspond to the standard advertised for a 5-star hotel."

"A decent hotel on the edge of town. Clean modern room, helpful front desk, good breakfast. Shops and restaurants nearby. A 20 min walk into the centre. Nice spa in the basement with free use of steam room and sauna for guests."
