At this price, the whole is relatively affordable, the rooms are spacious and the health is good. However, at 1 o'clock in the middle of the night, someone in a hotel uniform opened my room without knocking. When I woke up, I closed the door again without apologizing or explaining anything. Since the lone person is abroad and the voice communication is not convenient, there is no complaint. I can't accept it at home.

En mi opinión, el hotel con la mejor disposición para sus clientes. Pedí apoyó para tener un horario en el que pudiera yo usar el espacio de la alberca para adornar y pedir matrimonio a mi novia, y no hubo ningún impedimento. El personal y el gerente me apoyaron con mis dudas y en las actividades que planie para entregar el anillo. Instalación cuidadas y los cuartos limpios y ordenados. Los precios de hotel y comida fueron muy accesibles.

We stayed at the Camino Real, May 15 - May 21. 2007. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff attentive -- and quick to deal with any questions or concerns. For example, the TV remote was not working -- the man was at our room and problem solved within ten minutes. Mid week, the hotel was quiet, catering to business travellers, so the pool area was very quiet. Come the weekend, Mexican tourists arrived in big numbers, so there was lots of people and lots of kids at the pool. By Monday, all was quiet again. All the rooms face the pool and the Gulf -- so everyone has a great view from their balcony. It is about a ten to fifteen minute pleasant walk to the beautiful Mall of the Americas -- a large shopping center. Steps from the front door, you can hop a bus to downtown Veracruz for 50 cents -- or a cab from the hotel front door to the Malecon downtown is six dollars. We did not know quite what to expect in Veracruz and area -- it turned out to be a real treat. Be pepared that few speak English and you may be the only non Mexican anywhere around most of the time. To us that was the charm of the place -- a super vacation away from the usual tourist Mexico of Cancun, etc. We would stay again at the Camino without hesitation.

I came to this Hotel thinking that it might've been a little more upscale.It's an Older no frills Hotel that I very much grew to like along with The City of Veracruz they both to ne have a rustic charm about them.I think I was originally shown Room 102 which was a small room with I think a King Size Bed,Small Bathroom with a Shower + an Electronic Safe for valuables. However a Lady from The Front Desk was unable to fix my Electric Key Room Card no matter how many times she tried to fix it with some kind of Electronic Gizmo I think it was maybe a Code Reader so I was moved to Room 207 on The Next Floor up.The Staff at Howard Johnson there The Front Desk & Restaurant were friendly & happy to help if require any information price of a Local Bus,Ice for a Cooler etc. I can't comment about didn't eat at The restaurant as I ate my Meals off The Resort but it's there for an additional surcharge if you want Breakfast,Dinner etc they also have a Karaoke Night down in The Restaurant one or two days during The Week.I believe the General Manager was Angel who I'm glad was there because my own Espanol is pretty basic & limited so that Lady was a valuable help if I didn't have my phone with English to Spanish Translation App in me.The thing that I really like about the Hotel was the good Central Location I think it was in Boca Del Rio & the cool place to chill in The late Afternoon & Evening the Sixth Floor Roof where the Small Swimming Pool is located & the Amazing 360 Eagle Views & photos you can take of The Entire City & Seaport Bay ..truly priceless.I'd say to anyone staying at this City who wants a Cheaper Good Hotel that is in a decent Location then maybe give this a try I don't think you would be disappointed.Who knows if I ever do revisit Veracruz I would sure consider this Hotel as a Solid Choice to stay I enjoyed my 8 Day stay from Friday October 28-November 5 2022.. As with most hotels, the experience starts at the parking lot. This place has two: a tiny one underground for compact cars, and the rest at ground level. Neither is enclosed or is guarded in any way. The ground-level section is surprisingly cramped; I was driving my own Honda Pilot and took me three movements to get into a normal-looking diagonal space. Check-in was quick, the pool is nice though crowded at all times, the seaside location is great, but the room ruined for me: it had absolutely no ventilation. Yes it had air con, but it didn't work well, so we ended up sweating like crazy all night. Very uncomfortable. Not the best option.

Reception had to be reminded of the towels for the floor and hands since they did not leave them when they cleaned the room. It seems to me that all the rooms have a balcony, which is great for having a coffee at any time of the day.

El personal del hotel es bastante amable y servicial. Las instalaciones necesitan urgentemente una renovación. La habitación es espaciosa, pero las camas son muy viejas. El colchón hacía mucho ruido y se movían los resortes. Sólo tienen sábanas delgadas, no tiene duvet. Las toallas son viejas. Por afuera, el hotel parece estar bien, pero por dentro todo es antiguo y está en mal estado. Lo único bueno es el personal de recepción y limpieza que son bastante amables.

The bedrooms and bed clothes are very comfortable in the hotel. Something that called my attention was cleaning. Constantly trap the floors of the hotel. People in general are friendly and the restaurant's food is quite good. Unfortunately there are no strong boxes in the rooms or served, which if it affected because there is no place to store cold drinks in a place that is usually warm.

5 star service and prime location near everything. Breakfast Buffett is really good and staff is amazing. Parking is free and hotel is safe. Had a couples massage and wow it was great & super relaxing. Definitely staying here again when I come back to town.

It is very good and very beautiful. It should be the best hotel in Veracruz. The swimming pool is very good and the hotel has its own beach🏖, with delicate sand. The breakfast buffet is also very good and very rich, with fresh fruit.

Salvo la sra. ROSITA (mucama) y el botones, el personal del hotel, especialmente de front desk y del restaurante MAJADEROS, CERO AMABLES, SERIOS y en un general y evidente estado de MAL HUMOR. Front desk.- Cuando acudí a solicitar lo que fuera, parecía que estaba pidiendolo al personal de una funeraria o de una oficina burocratica de los 80's. Especialmente la dama de cutis irregular (no sé su nombre, no portan gafete) quien además del mal humor, cuando se le agradece por cualquier cosa se limita a responder groseramente con un simple ”SÍ” y no con un DE NADA o un PARA SERVIRLE o cualquier respuesta un tanto más educada que un ”SÍ”. El mismo trato de sus compañer@s de área. Por otra parte y, continuando con ese trato derivado del MAL HUMOR, de la FRUSSTRACIÓN y, seguramente de un sueldo y condiciones laborales RAQUÍTICOS, el personal vespertino del restaurante; comenzando por el caballero adulto mayor que hace de mesero; más serio y parco que un chofer de carroza fúnebre además, de que de manera excelsa también, cuando se le da las gracias por algo contesta con un forzado y simple ”SÍ”. Por favor hotel, ¡enséñenle modales y a contestar a su personal con un DE NADA!!!!, enséñenlos a sonreir, a ser cuando menos un poco amables y dar un trato cálido, no un tratonde recaudadores fiscales. No diferente resulta el trato de la dama de complexión gruesa y tez morena del restaurante. También duraben su trato y respondedora a fuerza con sus clásicos ”SÍ” ante el agradecimiento. Tuve que sallir por una actividad deportiva a las 03:00. Ante eso le pedí a la dama me apoyara con hielo a esa hora, su respuesta fue contundente: ”...nos vamos a las 10, no se puede...”,sin dar ninguna opción adicional. Le pedí posteriormente hielo a otra dama, de estatura pequeña y comolexión delgada, estaba en barra haciendo cuentas (dweconozco su puesto). Se molestó por que le pedí el bendito hielo en cantidad de una hielera pequeña. Me opuso dwsde luego con enojo y en su reacción visceral, que se me cobraría en 65 pesos. Reitero que en general y salvo la mucama Rosita y el botones, el personal se caracteriza por su MAL TRATO, NULA AMABILIDAD Y MAJADERÍA. Por supuesto y desde luego, que jamás me volveré a hospedar en un sitio que logró que mi estadía fuera desagradable. Hotel Bello Veracruz: NO LO RECOMIENDO.

This hotel is only about 15 minutes from the airport, ( cab ride is 260 pesos) and it is near everything nice, the beach, the Andamar Mall, restaurants, and shopping galore. We had a really nice view of the city and the ”malecon” from the 7th floor. our room was neat, clean, and spacious. I can still smell the clean linen sheets. Beds were big and comfortable, I slept like a rock !!! This hotel is connected with the Holiday Inn next door which is a burnt orange color. You can use their pool and facilities while wearing a plastic bracelet up until 9 pm. The breakfasts in the morning are delectable and best of all-included!!!! Great Mexican choices like chilaquiles, black beans,and lots of ”picante” sauces,mi amigo !!! The staff at the front desk always has someone who can speak English, and they are so helpful with any advice or tourist info. They got a taxi for us in less than 5 minutes for our return trip to the airport. Most of all, we felt safe and well taken care of. We would surely return.

Hotel Holiday Inn Orizaba, Veracruz. 1. El hotel, está a dos cuadras de la Central de Autobuses ADO Orizaba. Pueden llegar caminando o tomar un taxi, que les cobra 35 pesos. 2. Fue un viaje de placer, con mi familia, tres adultos. La entrada del hotel luce linda. 3. Recepción, ojalá pudieran ser más cálidos. 4. Nos tocó la habitación 125, en el primer piso, que tiene vista a la entrada del hotel. Nos hospedamos 6 noches. 5. Al llegar nos ayudaron a subir las maletas. A la salida, tuvimos que cargarlas nosotros mismos, no hubo ayuda, y el elevador estaba en mantenimiento justo el día que nos fuimos. 6. El pasillo para llegar a la habitación, sofoca, huele a humedad. 7. La habitación, aunque pequeña, fue confortable y muy limpia. Sin ruidos del exterior. Closet pequeño. Regadera excelente, agua caliente, con buenísima presión de agua. Jabón para manos, crema, y shampo, eran de la marca Dove. Camas con colchón suave y confortable. El tamaño de las camas, aunque dicen que son matrimoniales, no es verdad, son más pequeñas, aún así, no interfirió con un buen descanso. Ropa de cama buen olor y suave. Muchas almohadas para mi gusto. Servicio de café, solo el primer día, luego, para los otros días, había que pagarlo. Hay secadora para cabello, plancha y aire acondicionado. 8. Pagamos desayuno incluido para todos los días de nuestra estancia. Rico y variado. Molesto, tener que firmar diario, el desayuno consumido. 9. En general, un buen Hotel.
