Fushifaru Maldives
4.6/559 Reviews
I went to the Maldives for vacation during the Chinese New Year. Fushifaru was recommended by a friend. I was very satisfied with the whole process. The price is not bad for a five-star island. More cost-effective than six or seven stars. Transportation: It takes half an hour to 40 minutes by water. Service: The service is excellent. This is a unique place in the Maldives. You get service after paying for it. This time, the butler was Dia, who did not speak Chinese. However, she helped me arrange everything I wanted in simple English, including check-in introduction, restaurant reservations, and return water. I will ask questions proactively when flying, including room cleaning. They will also help with taking photos. Hygiene: Brother Xiaohei cleans very seriously and promptly. Alam does hygiene promptly and conscientiously every day and replaces drinking water. Facilities: The hotel has been open for a few years, but the facilities are okay. The sand house has an independent yard, two sinks, two rain showers and one bathtub🛁 Environment: Just look at the picture for the environment. There are fish in the place where we eat every morning. One morning I even fed them. There seem to be occasional sharks or manta rays in the morning. Everything is good about the Maldives, except that my wallet is a little ”hurt”

Kudadoo Maldives Private Island – Luxury All Inclusive
5/541 Reviews
We have already visited Kudadoo 3 times and would definitely like to come back. We have also visited many other luxury resorts and I dare say that Kudadoo is at the top of the TOP resorts in the Maldives. The concept of this resort is very unique - anything - anytime - everywhere, you won't find such a concept anywhere else. Kudadoo has only 15 water villas and no beach villas. It's not for beach villa lovers, but we don't mind because we prefer water villas and they provide more privacy for guests. It is not an island that has the prettiest lagoon or the prettiest beaches, although you can definitely find beautiful places with a nice beach and ocean view. Also here in 2024, breakwaters were added around the beaches, which may bother some people - on the other hand, it is a mini island and erosion is a problem for all resorts, and even more so for these small islands, so the installation of breakwaters is understandable. However, this resort is all about its service and making you feel like a VIP guest. The price of this resort includes everything - great quality wines, cocktails, perfect gastro - isn't foie grass on the menu? No problem, we'll get it! And they really get everything when it's in their power. Also included in the price are massages, private diving, a trip to the sandbank, a trip to look for manta rays, a trip on jet skis and other activities that are normally charged at other resorts. Excursions and the daily schedule must be planned in advance, but if you want to change the plans, you can, you just need to do it in time, because there are other guests in the resort who also have a planned schedule and there may not always be a place when you want. That's why I recommend that you think about all the activities you want to try before arriving at the resort and plan them in advance, and feel free to write this schedule in advance to your butler, who will enter everything into the system. Villas: they are very well designed, have a modern design and are very cozy. The entrance from the villas is directly on the reef. Snorkeling: you can snorkel around the whole island and the reef is very nice. There are a lot of beautiful corals, anemones and you will also meet sharks, rays, lionfish, a school of fish or a turtle. Food: generally great. If you don't find something you want on the menu, they will try to prepare a meal for you on request. Something could probably be improved - for example, the food at Raffles or Milaidhoo tasted a little better to me. But it's more about taste preferences, because the food is of high quality and always fresh. However, even this resort has its faults - FLIES from the neighboring island Felivaru, where is fish processing factory. When there is no wind, there are flies everywhere in the villa, in the restaurant, and it is really very annoying. It would certainly be necessary to install some fly repellents in villas and restaurants - cinnamon as an air freshener or some lavender, eucalyptus, pepper

Maldives was on our bucket list to travel to. My first experience taking the seaplane, 35mins ride from MLE. The welcome that we received once we reached the resort was spectacular. We were upgraded to the sunset overwater villa, initially booked the sunrise overwater villa, it was much appreciated, being able to sit outside on the platform to watch the sunset. Booked a table at Tabemasu for dinner to celebrate my birthday and the staff in Tambemasu were lovely, creating such wonderful memories for us. We were the only table at the veranda, it was truly a private dining experience with the sunset as the backdrop, although the wind was not very kind to us. My poor server - Ali baba was fighting a losing battle in trying to Light the candle for my birthday cake. We visited all the 5 restaurants in the resort - Turquoise, Velaa, Riviera, Tabemasu and Waves over the week. If we had to choose which restaurant was our favourite, it was a tough fight between Velaa and Tabemasu, not forgetting Waves (we were there everyday for lunch) not because of the healthy choice of meals, but more for the lovely in-house Barista - Sanal. His passion towards coffee was such a delight, sharing his knowledge and even coming up with daily special drinks just for us. That was personalised service with a heart. The couples massage at the spa was also so relaxing, looking at the fish swimming by. We loved the walks to and fro from our villa to the restaurants. There wasn't a need for buggy service as we took pleasure in strolling around the resort. Each staff that we met over the course of the stay added a special memory to the trip. If I were to summarise it, it was like having a little family on the resort that you look forward to seeing, be it for breakfast, lunch and dinner, these relationships built over such a short time were truly precious. Interactions with GM Thomas and Executive Chef Asaf was intimate and engaging during the cocktails get together by the beach for marriot elite members as well. Saying goodbye was hard, I have never felt so emotional, seeing the lovely staff waving goodbye from the jetty while we were taking off in the seaplane. I do hope our paths will cross again with all the lovely staff (below are the names of the staff that we managed to catch their names/interact with) Turquoise restaurant Chef Devin Chef Sanchit Mauch Suraj Abby Aappa Nazim Velaa restaurant Chef Pradeep Xanyf Thallu Gerryd Waves Restaurant Sanal Tabemasu Restaurant Chef Robert Ali baba Agus Bertha Riviera Suvia Faith
Kuredu Island Resort & Spa

The price/performance ratio is really high. When Ctrip is marked, it does not include breakfast. The hotel order is for three meals. Everyone is free to eat for three meals. Bar drinking is also free! It’s cool! Hotel service is general, it feels better to be humanized. Wi-Fi is limited to 500MB per day, and if it exceeds, it will cost $15/day. Then the hotel room recommended beach villas, much better than the water house, but also new, and cheap. Going out to the beach to snorkel, the island's biggest feature is the best snorkeling, you can see the big devil fish, small sharks, good luck can also see the big turtle! Then the island's entertainment programs are also very rich, there are three bars and swimming pools, there are different themes every day, remember to bring a shirt, and the grandmothers who are more than 70 in the evening are all dressed up to drink haha...
Cocoon Maldives - All Inclusive

Ideal structure for those who want to relax and have a holiday in a truly quiet, elegant and pleasant place. Below I will try to give a brief summary of what the property offered us during our stay. ROOM: our room was the ”villa lagoon” type room. They are rooms on the side where the sun rises built directly on the water. The room is very spacious and comfortable with a terrace for the exclusive use of the room and with ladders for direct access to the sea, as per the attached photos. Bathroom with shower, sink, bidet and toilet. In the room there is also a minibar with soft drinks (offered if booked with an all-inclusive formula) and alcohol, a coffee machine and a kettle. RESTAURANT: In the main restaurant breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack during tea time and dinner are served. Everything is buffet style. The buffets are very large and varied in such a way as to satisfy all tastes. During the various days of the week, at dinner, a ”theme” of the dinner is proposed. We happened to eat at the Italian, Maldivian, Japanese, Mediterranean, Moroccan and Indian evening. BEACH: if you want you can also go to the beach and take advantage of the umbrellas and deckchairs available in several places on the island. Towels to place on the deckchairs are also provided. BEACH BAR: on the main beach there is a bar open practically always until after dinner where it is possible to have alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. If you have the all-inclusive formula like we did, you can get many types of drinks and cocktails for free. EXCURSIONS AND ACTIVITIES: the structure also organizes many excursions (almost all for a fee). I think this is the only thing we appreciated less about our stay as we would have liked to have had more excursions available. Furthermore, if they are canceled in case of bad weather you have to rebook (places are always limited) every time. Activities are then organized on the beach and on the island (but even here they are not always all free). DEPARTURE LOUNGE: The structure is also equipped with a departure lounge, complete with showers and bathrooms which you can use on the day of check in in case of an afternoon flight. SEAPLANE: The property must be reached via seaplane transfer (not included in the price of the stay) lasting approximately 35 - 40 minutes (if a direct flight, sometimes it also stops at other resorts and takes a little longer). Therefore, also take this cost into account when booking. Overall, the evaluation of the structure and our stay remains truly satisfactory and recommended! I have also attached some photos... I hope they can be useful to you!

Komandoo Island Resort & Spa

We stayed for five nights with one night in beach villa, the hotel was kind enough to upgrade it to water villa. The most remarkable feature of this island is bare foot. As it sited on the island, 'If you're wearing more than bare foot, you are overdressed. ' We experienced a very kind and honest welcome ceremony, with some locals dancing and playing drums. All the waiters and waitresses are very friendly, always makes us feel like talking to our old friends. Especially whenever we are in the restaurant or in bar, they will come over and have some sweet small talks, just like family, even all the guests will have warm small talks as well. There are barely no Asian on the island, only one of the waiter can speak a few Chinese words. However, English works perfectly fine on this island. The beach was white and beautiful, water is very clear with many colourful fish. If you're lucky enough, you might see some baby reef sharks and turtles. Unfortunately, most corals have died, but many fish still live there. Here's a beautiful infinitely pool, the hotel must have put some essential oil in it so that it has a light lemongrass smell. There is a once a week Maldivians' night, some locals will dress up, performance and party with guests. The only flaw of our stay is that some wood on this island has aged, we got wood pieces stuck into our skin for twice, though hotel dealt with our wounds and sanded those stairs ASAP. BTW, kids are not welcomed on this island.
