The stay was beyond our expectations and we fully enjoyed our stay. Everything worked well and host was very friendly to us! Will come again if there's chance

We are Americans from Hong Kong and traveled to Kunming for our Easter holiday. The positives of this hotel: 1. it was beautiful. The design and furnishings were very well done and the room itself was exceptionally clean. 2. The owners were so kind. We arrived way after the tea time hour, but they still provided our family with cappuccinos and fresh fruit, free of charge. Both were delicious and our children were so excited about the gourmet coffee art. 3. The mattress in the main bed area was very comfortable. Not a typical “hard” mattress like many hotels in China. Another bonus: it was actually a KING size, which we rarely see outside the US! 4. The breakfast was Chinese style and the rice noodles were delicious! The hotel also had a beautiful courtyard area to eat outside. A few items to be aware of: 1. although the hotel was in a neighborhood near the lake, the neighborhood itself was a bit strange. We could tell it was meant to be a beautiful, well-to-do neighborhood of modern villas, but more than half the neighborhood was unused and/or under construction so it wasn’t as lively feeling in the evening because it was so dark and desolate seeming. It was beautiful in the daylight though! 2. This is not a big hotel chain, just an independent boutique style hotel operating in one of these villas. 3. There are no optimal eating spots near the hotel. You have to take a 20-30 minute Didi (taxi) ride to the nearest area with a lot of restaurants. However, if you like street food, there is a street food carnival area about 10 minutes away via walking (walk north along boardwalk bordering the lake.) Overall, because of the kindness of the owners, the cleanliness and modernity, delicious breakfast, and comfortable mattress, we would definitely choose this hotel again for a one-night stopover.

Very convenient location, just near Dianchi. Situated among some landed houses. Also got complimentary afternoon tea set. Pretty nice coffee.

The homestay is located in a villa area near Dianchi Lake, and the community environment is good. The room has no windows, and it will be stuffy if the air conditioner is not turned on. The ventilation is poor. The whole house is smart, including the smart toilet cover, which is quite practical. The boss lady and the waiter provide good service, and afternoon tea is provided. You can wash and cook by yourself.

The location is very convenient. I chose this place because I was going to Xishan. Opposite is the Haigeng Dam. The whole house is smart, the breakfast is delicious, and the service of the beautiful ladies is even better.

It's so comfortable. You can go out to Dianchi Lake. It's very convenient to feed seagulls. It's comfortable and free. Facilities: very new, super good! Hygiene: very clean and tidy! I spent the Chinese New Year in Kunming and chose this four-star B&B which is very close to Dianchi Lake. I arrived late, but there were still many diners when I arrived. Their coffee is great and the barista is very professional. We brought boutique coffee from Pu'er. The barista was very professional in hand brewing. Their meals were also very good. The next day, the store manager invited us to dinner and we ate local wild vegetables. The next day, we shared a lot of coffee stories. The barista explained the professional hand brewing techniques. We drank tea, coffee and chatted in their home. It was very happy. Five-star recommendation

First of all, the advantages: 1. The homestay is in a villa area, and there are not many people staying in the whole villa area, so the environment is relatively quiet. 2. The Haigeng Dam is right outside the door, so it is convenient to feed seagulls. Then the disadvantages: 1. The room we stayed in, Mandheling, was in the basement, with only one skylight, which was quite stuffy, reflecting the average experience. 2. The air conditioner host is above the skylight, which is very noisy, and the host roars all night. 3. There is a machine in the room, but there is no chair, so we called room service to bring it. 4. It may be because there are not enough waiters in the homestay during the Spring Festival, and the room service and dining have to wait for a long time. When I was having breakfast, the aunt kept saying, "Please put the plate back after you finish eating, I am the only one." Then the order of first come first served for customers is not very clear, and it is obvious that our breakfast was given to the customers who came later. 5. The bathroom is very small, and the washbasin splashes water seriously, basically you will get wet if you use water. The above is my feeling, so I don't agree with the services of star-rated hotels on the Internet. I suggest that you still book a hotel if you travel with children.

Very good stay experience, because it is in a villa area that has not been fully developed, the location is not easy to find. The store contacted me in advance. It was already early in the morning when we arrived at the store, and the merchant was waiting for us. He was very talkative! After we arrived, he was still enthusiastic to boil water for us. The breakfast was the most amazing for me. It was so delicious. The rice noodles, milk, buns, and rice cakes were really amazing. It is no exaggeration to say that it was the most delicious breakfast I have ever had in a hotel or B&B. I have been lingering all the time. Unfortunately, due to the schedule, I did not experience the afternoon tea set. The location is also very good, and Dianchi Lake is right outside.

The boss is very nice, the afternoon tea latte is great, the Haigeng Dam is just across the street, and after watching the red-billed gulls in the morning, you can go directly to Haigeng Park, both are very close.

A perfect experience. We arrived a little late, but after communicating with the lady boss, we were given a free room upgrade. We had a very comfortable and secure stay. We were relieved of a day's fatigue. Because I had a flight the next night, I stayed until noon before going out to play. The staff didn't rush me and were very nice. In addition, the beauty made Qinggan Pu'er tea for us, and we sat there leisurely for two hours in the afternoon to fill the gap in the flight. The experience was great, and I will stay here again next time.

Across the road from the B&B is the Dianchi Haigeng Dam. In the villa area, the environment is very quiet and comfortable. It is very convenient to go out and watch seagulls. It is also very close to walking to the Dianchi Lake Cableway. The room is large, clean and tidy, and the facilities are complete. The B&B itself is also a private restaurant, and the food is great. The boss is warm and generous, making you feel at home. Experience the leisurely slow life and will stay here again next time you come to Kunming!

The experience in the smallest room I stayed in was not very good. I wonder if a larger room would be better. The hotel is located in a community, so it's a little inconvenient to get in and out.
