The Melbreak Hotel

Wow!! What an amazing hotel. We arrived in the middle of a power outage, to be met by polite friendly and professional staff, we were made aware of the situation and offered a seat by the fire with complimentary nibbles, we were kept up to date with the situation throughout until power was restored. Considering the disruption, the staff remained calm and all food was delivered promptly and was delicious. The rooms were very tastefully done, well equipped and spotless, beds were extremely comfy and the rooms were toasty warm on a night that got below freezing. Breakfast was really good and we were well looked after by all of the staff. We have to say it is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in and would 100% recommend The Melbreak to anyone. Well done everyone concerned
Rayrigg Villa at Windermere

The owner of the Scotsman is very cautious, and the house price is conscience in the Lake District. It is very convenient to park the door and park all day. The rooms are very small but the old wooden houses are like this. Although the rooms are not soundproof, the guests are very quiet and conscious of the weekends in the UK. The stairs were very narrow and almost staggered, but the boss was very enthusiastic to help take another box. Some people complain that the hot water temperature is not good enough to put it in the eco gear position. The energy-saving faucet is really too small. The local tyrants who are accustomed to the big bathroom must not be too narrow. The shampoo on the ground is sloppy. When a farmhouse mentality is just fine, in fact, many hotel standards in the UK are too far from the domestic price. Half of the price is not as good as the standard of a small county. The breakfast is very good, the owner is doing it himself, the authentic English breakfast is full, the ingredients are very good. It is a little worry that the sauce is not the standard original vial.
Keswick Country House Hotel

The hotel is in a good location, just in the small town on Devon Lake. The room standard is 16 square meters, but it feels like it should be more than 20 square meters. Clean and hygienic. The service attitude is good, we arrived early, and the front desk gave the room without saying a word. The restaurant in the hotel is also very good and the dishes are delicious. Some local elderly people say that they have been eating in the restaurant for more than 20 years.

Armathwaite Hall Hotel & Spa
4.4/574 Reviews
This is a historic building dating back to 1548, experienced 11 owners and is now a spa hotel The hotel sits on a large area, with flocks of cattle and sheep in front of the door. The restaurant on the other side has a very good lake view and a large grass. Hares and squirrels often jump in the grass and woods. You can reach the lake by a small road or hike in the forest. You can feel it from the elevator, the hotel is very old The spa has a heated swimming pool, cold pool, hot pool, and an outdoor hot pool. It is really pleasant to face a large area of grass and woods. The only thing to note is: check out at 11 o'clock, be sure to go to the spa before check out, after 11 o'clock to add 20 pounds per person.

New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel

The hotel is on a mountain. From Windermere Railway Station, take 555, turn 516 and take the bus to the terminal. The scenery is picturesque and the air is fresh. The little girl at the front desk is enthusiastic and lively, and there is electric heating in the room, which is so happy for Britain, which often has rainy days. The food is great, the steak is delicious, and you can actually drink Guinness.
