"As a photographer, choosing Meilin Lake Royal Villa was purely a case of 'paying for the shot'! The villa faces the Ferris wheel and lake, and at 7 AM during 'blue hour,' the misty lake with the Ferris wheel's silhouette felt incredibly cinematic. By 3 PM, the sunlight streamed into the room, creating perfect light and shadow with the floor-to-ceiling windows and white sheer curtains – absolutely amazing for portraits! When the butler learned I was there for photography, they proactively suggested, 'The wisteria trellis in the backyard has the best light at 4 PM, and you can borrow a reflector by the pool.' They even helped me move tables and chairs to the optimal shooting spot. The vintage desk lamp and rattan furniture in the room instantly gave everything an Instagrammable vibe. Even the bathroom mirror is anti-fog, so no worries about steam blurring the lens during a bathroom photoshoot. Most importantly, it was a comfortable stay. While I was editing photos at night, the butler brought hot milk and said, 'Don't stay up too late.' Details like that make a perfectionist ecstatic! For future lake-view client shoots, this will definitely be my top choice for a 'model villa'!"

"It wasn't very crowded during our visit, likely due to an approaching typhoon. My child and I had a great time jet-skiing, though the seafood we had for several meals was just average. The guesthouse lobby boasts a modern design. While the room itself isn't huge, its layout and views are exceptional, offering breathtaking sea views. It also features a large bathtub, a separate toilet and shower, and two washbasins, showing great attention to detail. Crucially, the price was also very reasonable. It's definitely a worthwhile place to relax and unwind. After checking in, the front desk staff escorted us to our room and provided excellent recommendations for local food and activities. "Because I was going to take my family out to celebrate their birthday, I booked this three-bedroom room. At first I thought there was a ktv, but I contacted the housekeeper and he said no. I asked if there were any kungfu tea sets, but they still didn't. I asked if they could help me prepare a set, but they still couldn't (this was the first time I met a homestay housekeeper who couldn't do anything). When I arrived at the garage, I found that the anti-theft door at the elevator entrance couldn't be opened. I had to ask the housekeeper again (why couldn't I make it clear in advance). When I got to the room, it was relatively large, basically the same as the picture. But the hygiene was relatively poor, and there were stains on the floor. There were only a few disposable toothbrushes and towels in the room. There was only one bottle of shower gel in the bathroom. To be honest, this configuration at this price is not cost-effective. Fortunately, there is also automatic mahjong to play, otherwise I really don't know what the point of living here is. In addition, it is said to be a housekeeper service, but in fact there is no service. Because from beginning to end, we took the initiative to contact the housekeeper. And their attitude towards the guests is really not flattering. The picture below is a screenshot of the chat record. When checking in and leaving, they repeatedly emphasized not to dirty or break things, and explained how much compensation would be required for damaged things, etc. It's understandable to say it once, but it's as if our quality is very poor if it's said many times. It makes people feel very uncomfortable! In short, I will not order again and will not recommend it. Everyone can judge for themselves!"
