Hotel Villa Gli Asfodeli

I have waited to write my review as for me it has been a real mixed experience. It is a lovely, basic hotel with high ceilings and relatively well equipped. Air con. French doors over looking back of property (far nicer than front). I feel that the reviews precovid might depict a better experience in terms of breakfasts which for us was unenjoyable, with little choice and the same thing the whole holiday. Because we upgraded from the standard room (which is a terrible location and soul-less) we were lucky to have had a kitchenette. This meant we could buy in our own food and have breakfast in our room. The pool and gardens are delightful, quiet of occupants but ... Not the fault of the hotel, surrounded by dogs barking and crying which is not relaxing. The town is very quiet with nothing to do but there is a lovely restaurant next door with stunning views and good food. Everything is a drive away so if you like quiet it's great. But you will need a car. Although the church outside the hotel does chime every 15 mins. As the days roll on you sort of get used to (except the 7.30am jingle!). The bed in the room is incredibly firm but everything did feel clean. So although we mostly enjoyed our stay, the staff are friendly and the place is clean, it is unlikely we would return. It's a great stop over place.
Horse Country Resort Congress & Spa

I feel like I need to leave review on this resort. What can I say? It was really good, specially when visiting the venue with a pet. On check in they gave us a toy for the dog, list of rules, and the resort map, showing where the dog can go and not. However they did not say anything at any time, and the staff was super friendly (also with the dog). Technically they tell you you can only eat outside with the dog, however when I mentioned that will be leaving the dog in the room as its too cold for us to eat outside, they immediately told us that we can go in (as long as the dog is quite). The beach is about 15 minute walk for the reception, and its a very nice walk. they have 2 pools, spa, sports court, various restaurants, entertainment, etc I highly recommend this resort for a small break from the daily hustle.
Mistral2 Hotel

There are many hotels in Italy where it is impossible to open windows because of the traffic. However, it was not the case with Mistral2. The hotel was clean and impressed us a lot. When we arrived in the hotel, we asked for a place to have a lunch. We were guided to the best resraurant in town, but in the evrning it turned out that the hotel restaurant was even better. If in Oristano you are looking for a calm stay with a great restaurant, then this is the place.
Hotel Su Baione

We stayed the days of ferragosto and paid about 160 euros per night two adults and one baby with breakfast. The expectations were high reading the reviews and viewing the various photos, the reality was not at the height. The outdoor structure is very beautiful and would have great potential but once the environment entered is colourless and warm, The smell of the corridors and the room was that of the rooms unaird with a little muffa in some points. There was only two outside a pool area with sofas just before the entrance to a disturbing point and not enough to welcome more than a few guests the same speech for the pool sessions I counted 17 but the The structure is much broader. The worst thing, also reported during check out, is the total lack of sound in the rooms....You hear everything from the guest of the above floor that moves the chairs to cough hits and the talks of the adjacent to not talk about everything the rest ...(I let you imagine what I'm talking about ...). The money we paid is not worth the service offered, among the bed that screws the pans to span on the thread applied to the wall, my daughter with dermatitis the first night she sleeped in bed, the needs of animals in the front garden room ...I stayed in less expensive facilities capable of guaranteeing everything and more especially in the area of privacy. Unrecommended for long stays as a noisy neighbor could ruin your holidays, it's good for a weekend at half the price paid.
Mariano IV Palace Hotel

I most comfortable hotel, even if the decor is a little faded. Top class service from attentive staff and an excellent breakfast. We were in Oristano for the Sartiglia event and this hotel is right on the course. Great fun!
Hotel Lido Beach

This was a pleasant relaxing place to stay that is right on the beach. The rooms are a nice size. We stayed two days in two different rooms one was a superior room that was nicely appointed and appeared recently renovated. It was a relatively large space with a large bathroom & shower. We liked it so much that we decided to stay a second night. However, when we booked that, unbeknownst to us we were getting a regular room. Initially, we were disappointed by that as that meant we had to pack our things yet again. In the end though the regular room turned out to be a good size room too. The shower was smaller but still adequate. The bathroom was a good size though. The pool is really nice and clean too. (I have pools in both of my houses). There is ample free seating around the pool. We had snacks that we brought with us poolside and when we requested two glasses of ice from the restaurant the attendant said the restaurant owner wouldn’t like that we brought food with us. That is despite the fact that the restaurant was closed and we were hungry. The breakfast offering was just okay but enough to not be hungry as you start your day. The sand on the beach is a darker brown color which taints the water color a bit from the emerald green that it really is on the other beaches. Regardless, it’s convenient and refreshing. Book it directly. The
