Stayed at the Plaza Hotel in September for 3 nights before starting a bus tour of Greece. The Kalamakis Family are awesome. The brothers, Yiannis & Erik, and their father really made our stay wonderful. The hotel is very nice and the area can't be beat. We had an ocean front room and it was very nice. When I was in the room I lived on the belcony, sipping beer and eating pistachios. This was one of the best parts of my 3 weeks in Greece. The view is unbelievable and hotel location is best on the Island. We rented a scooter, from Giakas rentals, for a day and toured the island, swam in the ocean across the street from the hotel and dined at Mr. Kalamakis brother's ocean front restaurant in front of the hotel. Highly recommended. If you need directions, ask the brothers, they are better than CAA. Thanks to the Kalamakis family for a wonderful weekend and visit.
