Would highly recommend this hotel. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. He helped us arrange a car from the train station to the hotel and also to the scenic stop. The hotel was spotless and the rooms were lovely, big comfy beds, large bath and shower with all the amenities. Will definitely stay here again next time I return to Huangshan.

The hotel stayed in a three-bedroom and two-story building with a single-family villa. The view is very good, but the service did not keep up. After check-in, a bunch of slippers were washed in the washing machine in the room, and I called the front desk and did not provide any remedies. I came back to take the slippers away and told the washing machine that it was public and it was not recommended to use it. But this is not for washing slippers.

I usually like to find a homestay when I come out. I originally wanted to live near Hongcun, but when I found a new homestay on the road, I thought about the newly opened ”try a taste”. The environment is good, it is a townhouse villa, very quiet, and I still get lost in the morning. I heard a lot of bird calls in a daze. I heard from the store that the grass in the garden has not been planted yet. The weather is too cold and it is not easy to grow. It would be a good experience to have an outdoor barbecue with friends on the lawn when it is sunny. There are not so many rooms in their house. It is very suitable for a family of relatives to travel and live together. There is also a kitchen for cooking. I hope that the store’s business is prosperous and I have the opportunity to come to Huangshan again in the future.

Living here likes this feeling of ”big hidden in the city, small hidden in the wild”. The indoor facilities are high-end and complete, and all rooms can see the mountains and the water. Zen is quiet and moving for the homestay, which makes people feel spiritually comfortable and psychologically satisfied.

We booked elegant room deluxe area A and room was very large and clean. Location very convenient to watch sunset (10 minutes) and hotel had a guide lead a group at 5:20am to watch sunrise 30 minutes away. Front desk gave helpful map with recommended hiking trails.

Great hotel experience- the staff here are incredibly kind and helpful, particularly Yan Yan who set us up with a bunch of snacks and water as well as helpful tips for catching the sunrise. The room was very clean; just fyi the bed is very firm. The location is great for seeing sunrise as it is ~30 min walk/climb to the Bright Summit. The food is tasty! The included breakfast buffet was the perfect fueling for a day of climbing. It’s nothing fancy but tasty and nutritious. We took a scenic route up to the hotel via the Yuping Gondola (front side), which led to quite a climb from where we got off to where the hotel is. It was full of beautiful sights but it took about an hour of uphill ascent — 1.5mi walk and 800ft of climbing. The hotel might be easier to get to from the Yungge Gondola (back side). There’s a little shop with snacks in the lobby, as well as a little cafe.

The house is next to the river, and you can go out to visit the old street. When I wanted to use needles at night, the front desk immediately sent the sewing box to the door. When they heard that I had blisters on my toes, they gave me some band-aids before I left. They were really warm and thoughtful.

We were immediately upgraded to a room upon check-in, which was a pleasant surprise! The sanitation and service are really good. The room is clean and the facilities are very complete. The breakfast was also very rich, and Tremella fuciform soup was delivered for late night snack, which was very considerate. A child fell and was injured in front of a villager's house in Xixinan Village. When the villagers saw it, they immediately rode on a small electric donkey to take us to the health center. Thank you to this simple and kind-hearted enthusiastic villager! There was no way to go back to the hotel at the health center, so the hotel specially sent a car to the health center to pick us up. This service must be praised 👍. I also gave two packs of Huangshan sesame cakes as a gift before leaving!

When I first booked the hotel, I saw two bad reviews. I was still very embarrassed, but I found out that the boss was really good and very enthusiastic. From the high-speed rail station to the homestay to the high-speed rail station, the boss helped to arrange the car. It was very convenient and the accommodation environment was very good. The price/performance ratio is really ok. In the morning, the boss also drove us to the entrance of the scenic spot. He also told us to pay attention to safety. It was very kind and highly recommended that everyone stay.
