"Slightly underwhelming experience. 1) Check-in and overall experience with staff: Just OK. No one was at reception upon arrival, but a guy eventually came and he was friendly. A girl at the breakfast area was also quite warm, but other than that, most others don't really interact with guests. 2) Location: It was clear before booking it was slightly off the old city, but there really was nothing within walking distance. No restaurants or shops to get food. One can walk to the old city (~20 mins) but the roads are unpaved and there is no street lighting at night. However, the hotel provides free shuttle service to the West Gate and the train station; very helpful. 3) Breakfast: Small spread but quite tasty. I recommend installing a coffee machine. 4) Amenities: The room was spacious and comfortable, but the water supply was very erratic. The first morning there was no water supply for hours, while the pressure became weak and the toilet couldn't flush on the second morning. Overall, it was quite average, but given the low price, I think it's still OK for budget conscious travellers who don't mind being away from the centre of Khiva."

"Hotel facilities are clean. Relatively convenient transportation. But the train from here to Samarkand was not on the date I left the hotel. I had to check out one day in advance, but should I take out the hotel fee for one night? It's not my fault. And the hotel is big, but there is a restaurant, but there is no other amenities, and only one male staff serves the big hotel. I couldn't deliver something through English. There is a ☎️ phone in the room, but it is unusable. Even if you endure this, you will strongly request a refund for 1 night for only 2 nights because you booked 3 nights and the train did not run."

"The hotel's location is very convenient – ​​it's in the old town, not right in the center, but on the outskirts, yet it's a 3-minute walk to the center. Because of this location, the hotel is quite quiet. We were given a room with a balcony on the second floor, which had a wonderful view of the old town. However, the room and bathroom were very small, and the bed linens were fresh and new. The breakfast was meager and cold, but quite tasty. There was no coffee beans. The hotel has a terrace with beautiful views of the city."

"I booked 2 nights in the hotel. The hotel is located right in front of the city wall. The staff is friendly. They helped me to book a taxi to Moynaq and Bukhara. The safety box didn't work but I felt safe anyways. The room and the toilet were ok just a bit smell if paint or something like that. They have kettle, coffee, water, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash in the room. The breakfast was very complete and the taste was good too. If you have a tour at 7 am they make sure you have your breakfast before you leave which was very kind of them."
