"This was our first stay here and will keep it in mind as a more affordable option in the SLC Downtown space. In general, this is an older property that has the basics of a good place to stay. The rooms were clean and had a the larger ”dorm fridge” and a microwave. The beds/bedding were VERY comfortable. Parking is free and they do allow pets for a $25 fee. (NOTE: The Trip.com site says that pets are not allowed.) The location is very good, with walking-distance access to alot of restaurants, bars, entertainment, shopping, etc. We took a $7+ Uber to/from The State Room, which is only 1/2 mile away because I just had my hip replaced. Would normally have walked. What they could do better: While they have some beautiful plants on the property, they could spruce it up a bit with some paint and deep cleaning of the concrete walkways. The lobby/front desk reminds me of a motel in a seedy location. The front desk person is behind an enclosed Plexi-Glass structure and the lobby is not somewhere to gather, as it is not kept very clean. They do not serve food at all, due to COVID-era decisions (see picture), and the presence of junk food vending machines shows that they are not concerned with that decision and will continue that non-service going forward. (TIP: Go next door to The Red Beryl restaurant in the Doubletree. Excellent food, service, and prices!) Maybe if the front desk person offered a list of nearby eating establishments to guests when they check-in, this would be a non-issue. The only room challenge was that the blackout shade roller was non-operational, requiring a more manual approach with it to cover the window. As with a lot of hotels, they charge a $100 deposit that is given back when you check out. If you use a card, that's 3-5 business days. If you use cash, it's returned immediately after they perform a cursory room look-see. The staff that served us was not pleasant or unpleasant; pretty much a business attitude."

"The hotel is the classic American motel with the parking rooms, I would call it 'passable' for a night of travel during a trip. Breakfast is not scheduled but only a coffee machine is available at reception, which is comfortable in the morning before you leave. The check in was a little slow and the lady in the reception a little overwhelmed by the row that had formed herself, I must say that she was very kind and kind. The handle of our room was half broken, which made it a little complicated every time we entered the room, and we had to call the maintenance man. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room, but there was one available near the reception. It also gives positive signals of the presence of self-service detergents and dryers, which can also be used with paper. Ground cleaning to be reviewed, OK instead bed and bathroom."

"We booked earlier for 2 nights and it cost us usd $165 per night for a motel room standard. It was not able to cancel few days before arrival. Then the price for that week of my travel dropped to usd80 per night. It is ridiculous that it was so overpriced for travellers to book in advance."

"Temporary passing by for one night, the location is convenient, get off the highway. The room is OK, the area is quite large, the bedding is comfortable. But the elevator was broken, the cockroach could carry the luggage upstairs, the elevator was not repaired the next day, and the notice posted felt like it was broken for more than a day."

"Booked a three-bed room, the room was large, and there was a big flat screen TV. There is Cowboy on the side, it is delicious, and the brisket is forced. The disadvantage is that there is no elevator on the second floor, and the shower is fixed. But there is no problem for us."

"The hotel is located about 15 miles from Bryce Canyon City, directly off Highway 12. There are no decent amenities around the Rodeway Inn, so you should stock up on essentials before arriving. Check-in was businesslike and sober, and the small lobby doesn't raise much expectations. However, the rooms (on two floors) are a pleasant surprise. The wood floors appear relatively new, and everything is spotlessly clean. Coffee is served in the lobby in the morning, but other services are lacking."

We drove from Lake Tahoe to Salt Lake, so it was a long day… thankfully the front desk was very accommodating and said they’d hold our reservation until 4:00am, we arrived a little after 1:00am. The room was adequate, although smelled a little odd (tha A/C?). The continental breakfast was good, but they ran out of waffle mix before my son & I could both get a full waffle. And we were going to hang out at the pool and hot tub until checkout but the pool was closed for cleaning or something… all-in-all a little disappointing, but hard to argue with the $109 pricetag for a family of 4…

If you've ever hiked Delicate Arch at 5 AM, you'll understand! Staying here was incredibly convenient. It's just a 30-minute drive to the park. After our hike, we hurried back to the hotel to catch the buffet breakfast, then checked out and headed off to explore other arches. This plan was absolutely genius! Because once the sun's fully out, hiking Delicate Arch becomes nearly impossible.

I returned to Vegas from Zion. I like this place very much. The people of Utah are very enthusiastic. There is a shooting range nearby, which is very recommended. It is called Rowdys. If you want to come to the United States to shoot a gun, you can definitely arrange it. There are more choices than California, and cheaper than Vegas There are few people. After all, it is not a place with many tourists. There is a self-service car wash downstairs and a Japanese teppanyaki restaurant is very delicious.

I recently stayed at Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Salt Lake City Airport and was quite disappointed with my experience. The room was not very clean, which was unexpected and uncomfortable. Additionally, there was a box of tissues running out from the moment I checked in. The amenities were very limited. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room, which made my stay less convenient. The room itself was also much smaller than I expected. While the location is excellent and the staff was generally average in their service, the overall quality did not meet my expectations. I hope the management will take steps to improve the cleanliness and provide better facilities for future guests.
