2-Star Hotels in Mugla Province, Türkiye

My husband and I stayed at the Nefis City Otel for 4 weeks and it was the best decision we could have made. The location is central to transport, shops, restaurants, the old town, the bay, the large Tuesday market, the rock tombs and castle. We got to know the reception and breakfast/room servicing staff quite well. Sercan gave us some very useful local information at the beginning of our stay and Sercan, Halil, Ramazan and Mert (Reception staff) accommodated all of our requests (a laundry drying rack, extra pillows, extra hangers, investigating when other guests were smoking in their room and it came through to our room (it's a non-smoking indoors hotel), repairing the toilet roll holder and shower attachment). There was a safety deposit box in the room (very convenient) with a refundable deposit required for the key. There was a small fridge with icebox in the room, soap dispensers by the sink and in the shower cubicle. The bedside lights provided a comfortable environment to relax in during the evening. The television had multiple Turkish and German channels, a couple of English channels and a French and an Arabic channel. There was air conditioning and we booked a room with an enclosed balcony for extra space and drying laundry. Lena and Fatma worked extremely hard to provide a varied Turkish breakfast (the scrambled eggs were delicious!). Non-pork sausages, breaded chicken bites, cheese pastry straws, cooked courgette and aubergine, chips, boiled eggs, tomato, cucumber, white cheese, cheese slices, olives, melon, satsumas, bread, jam, chocolate spread, Turkish tea, herbal teas, instant coffee, hot chocolate, milk, water (all fruit and vegetables were extremely fresh and flavoursome). The breakfast room is at the top of the hotel with panoramic views of the mountains, tombs and castle. There is no elevator, only stairs. Rooms are on the ground floor and first floor. Lena and Fatma also worked extremely hard to service/clean rooms and public areas each day. Occasionally, we did not require a room clean, but were always able to acquire toilet rolls or anything we needed. One evening, there was a massive storm and although some rain leaked through into the breakfast room, Halil and Ramazan did their best to attend to this and came to check that we were OK as they could see that we were trying to close a balcony door in the hall outside our room. We wish to say a huge thank you to all staff for making us feel so welcome and comfortable. We were extremely sad to leave and hope to return in the very near future.

The location is great, the room looks very clean in the basement, but the upper bunk found a bug's shell on the bed😱 The lobby is also a bar, the scenery is very good, you can see the sea. The service attitude is also very patient, and the hostel wrote that check-in is only after 12:00, but I arrived at 7 in the morning. Not only did I get up to help open the door, but I also checked in directly, which made me sleep a long time in the morning! Thank you very much 🙏 Besides, the breakfast is very good, this egg seconds* countless me!

The rooms were full of spiders. Even inside the towels were spiders. We were biten by a few of them, and we had a nice experience with mosquitoes. There was a broken box in the room with two commodities and a corner with a full dust. We had to sweat a lot while we changed the clothes. It's far from anywhere. If you don't want to go to the sea or the centre around you, if you say I just go sunk around the small pool, it's okay for you, but if you say I'll go a fethiye tour, the hotel's location will make you a lot tired. The rooms are very unpleasant, very drown and disturbingly dirty! The floor on the bath ceiling is accompanied by yellow sleeves taking a shower and the ceiling visuals in this holiday, which is “special for you”, are continuing with spiders and their spidered networks on the ceiling in which your bed is located. Eatings... You find the worst a little difficult in any other hotel, as you can easily find better than this. Finally, it was a unfortunate experience for us. I hope we will not meet again with such a commitment. It's not exactly his money. I did this comment on Google, but whatever wisdom I've been saying, it doesn't seem to me when I check it from another browser I haven't opened a session. This hotel business may pay for manipulating Google comments. They choose the short, simple, written bad comments on Google and write them. Don't trust Google comments! Хороший отель. Тепло, даже жарко. Чистое белье. Неплохой завтрак. Расположение отличное. На машине не подъехать. Парковки нет, но есть общественные и платные вокруг.

We stayed one night in transit to Kos, very comfortable bed, Turkish breakfast mostly salty of good quality, very quiet room, little equipped but not very small, tiny and minimal bathroom. Cleaning ok in the basics especially the immaculate and good quality linen. A little maintenance is missing but they are working on it, the situation is a bit like the end of construction site. Central location near the bus stop to and from the airport and next to the taxi station. It is a good choice for those who travel and need a quick overnight stay or 2 3 days.

It was an impressive staycation. I enjoyed to sit on the front of the restaurant and see the the sun sets. The room and towels are very clean. The location is perfect for having vacation. Most importantly, the people here are super nice, especially the receptionist, a uncle who is really helpful, although he cannot speak English, but he tried his best to use translation app and fulfil our need, once we need help, he always give a helping hand. He is really caring, I sincerely thank for his service and kindness. The waiters in the restaurant are nice as well. The people here had became the precious memories of my journey. If I have second change to come here, I will definitely choose to stay in this hotel again.

we made a reservation with *********** we visited for 1 night on june 28th , arrived at 2 am , for 1 night , 2 adults and 2 children . we were excited to our visit to Goçek , Assuming we were staying in a nice hotel !! they gave us a a pigeon Room on the roof - 3rd floor ' no elevator - 2 am with 4 suite cases and 4 carry ons ... no help - had to drag the luggage to 3rd floor after spending a whole day flying to turkey ... quardable room that has 2 separate rooms with NO AIRCONDITIONING - Temp. was 97F. 34 C. , they had 1 AC unit in the corredor away from both rooms - that way the owner can claim that there is AC. and at the same time save money by having 1 small unit instead of 2 units in rooms !! rooms are for pigeons - roof is 3 feet - 1 meter above the bed , cant move you head - tile roof - added to main building - so i refused the room !! BUT receptionest said he had nothing else .. althougj he was lying - i found out next day the hotel had few guests only - but because i booked a quardable room as they promote it - that was it - A pigeon tile roof room with no A.C . we had no choice at 2 am in a village !! receptionest offered free breakfast , still not saisfied but kids need a bed to turn on . next morning we went to get our Free Breakfast and speak to the owner about this joke called quardable room . we found nothing to eat except few rolls with jam ! put some in plates .. then owner comes screaming that our reservation has no breakfast Included ... so we told him that reception offered us breakfast last night and he shouted NO free breakfast u should pay 32 Euros for 4 people eating 2 rolls of bread ... ! i left - packed my luggage and left - i was charged for a full night over 120$ for a chicken room. i contacted *********** , asked for refund - still waiting to see what action will they take to stop that crook who use their platform to promote a quardable room with AC but in reality its a pigeon room with a ceiling less than 6 feet without AC . be aware of the crook owner

Can't recommend this little hotel enough. We were welcomed by the owner, rooms comfortable with lots of nice extra attention to detail. It's a budget hotel but goes above and beyond for what we paid. Hairdryer shampoo, conditioner etc, clean towels, fab shower, breakfast is Turkish, lots to choose from, more than adequate. So close to beach if you're coming for a beach hol. We came for a change, we are expats living in Altinkum. I will come back in a heartbeat. Basic but brilliant value. Five stars from us. Thank you for a lovely stay despite the weather 😍

I can first write my negative opinion, there were small spiders in our bedroom, but I can't say bad because the season was earlier and because we were very disturbing*. We could stay one night for a journey in the horse*sphere because we really were happy, but if we could find a place again, it would be our first choice, Personnel laughterful local staff are available only laughterful, all kitchen equipment in the room is enough for us, a bedroom you will comfort in long stays and a living room independent of each other 1+1 studio apartment two laundry in the room This is a very beautiful situation that Jakuzi works and looks at the Jakuzi directly into the marine. This is a very elegant view of our room. Please state that*k I want to say that we haven't had any problems in the room and in the chick, everything was very beautiful for us thank you

I booked based on good reviews but ...... The apartment seemed ideal looking over the harbour at Fethiye. It also has excellent reviews. I booked a 'deluxe' suite at this apartotel and was offered the opportunity to 'upgrade'by ***********. I contacted the hotel and specifically asked them what benefit the upgrade would offer. They said the apartment booked was on the second floor and the higher priced apartment was on the third floor.i upgraded to a 'superior' suite. When we arrived I was told the apartment was on the first floor. I explained the apartment I had booked was on ta higher floor but was told the hotel was 'fully booked'. I reiterated the fact that I had booked many months earlier, and had upgraded to be told I had the 'same view'to which I pointed out that they had told me the more expensive room was on a higher floor. I was then told the room was unavailable due to 'water damage'. I have now been told I can change my room tomorrow but sadly the first day of my holiday has been spoilt as I cannot unpack and settle in. I hope my booked room will be available tomorrow but await further excuses. I have tried to contact *********** but sadly the WiFi signal is too poor ro enable contact. I just hope things are resolved tomorrow but beware ”upgrading' as you will just spend money for nothing. I thing the worst bit is that I was treated as if I was in the wrong. These sort of things ruin holidays. And BTW they say the Turkish system is that the first floor is called the 'second' floor etc, althouh this was not the case with my hotel in Istanbul.

Checked into Otel Eroglu in Fethiye. Rooms not ready so we left bags in lobby. Several of us left extra cash at the hotel as we were going from here to the beach. Checked in later. Room was nice size with a king and one twin bed. Put our bags on twin. Did have a small desk and a chair, but no lamp over the desk so a little dark working. No in-room safe or refrigerator. We did have a balcony, Room 101, so we could dry our clothes. Used the air conditioner overnight to cool the room. Bathroom shower had a proper sliding door so the bathroom floor stayed dry for a change. Nice rain shower head. Wall mounted body soap, no shampoo, conditioner or body lotion. Nice outdoor pool with lounges, chairs, and tables. Breakfast was bare bones. Hot foods included hotdogs, a tomato dish and hard- boiled eggs. Had fresh bread and jellies, olives, meats and cheeses. No cereal, milk, or fruit.

It's a super experience

When I went to work, I went on the advice of my hotel friend. I was very happy to have a smile at the entrance and I owe thanks to the gentleman Sedat. It is clear that you cannot find a more proper hotel in that basement at those prices. I recommend to everyone.
