2-Star Hotels in Phuket Province, Thailand

The location is very good as it is a walking distance to Phuket Old Town. If you are are Harry Potter fan, you should definitely visit the HP themed cafe (4-5 minutes walking distance). There are also so many cute cafes there. The room is clean and comfortable for a solo traveller like me. If you need a hair dryer, you will need to request at the reception. The staffs there are really nice and friendly. There was no elevator and I had a really big luggage, so the male staff helped me to carry my luggage to my room. Also, please note that the reception is open from 8am to 11pm only. So if you are checking out really early, you will need to inform the receptionist upon arrival. Highly recommended for a solo traveller that is looking for a budget. Strategic location 💯

This was my return visit to this hostel, and I must say I was dissppointed. Last time, on another platform, I gave it an 8/10 rating, but now I think I was too generous. Besides smiling, but not good English-speaking staff (and smile doesnt always solve problems like an informed action), and affordable price, it was hard to find all those benefits I thought this hostel had. Hot water dispenser wasnt working, but even cold drinking water wasnt accessible - i had to ask the staff 3 times for somebody to refill the machine. But the next morning empty again - there should be a system in place and not counting on guests for chasing down staff to fix it whenever the water tank is empty. I say chasing as there is rarely someone at the reception. They might be cleaning the rooms (good luck in finding them), but frankly rooms werent that clean. Floors were praying for mopping, dust in the bathroom fan wanted to leave too... there was even a clearly visible stain on my bed sheet upon checking in, but the staff replaced the sheet immediately (they could have spotted it when they were making the bed the first time maybe? Locker was not working, so the member of the staff had to use knife to make it work. The other storage place was also full of some crumble, i assume it is not on the cleaning list too often. AC in the room didnt seem to work properly. There was always a feeling of the temperature being too cold, whether the tehermostat was fixed at 18 or 25 degrees Celsius, you were freezing even undet the blanket. Privacy curtains are still transparent (?), and the doors of the room close loudly. Shower was more of a drizzle - the water pressure did not meet basic requirements. In the first shower, it wasnt even warm. I entered the second one, where the heater was working better, but you could not shower with water practically just dripping on you. All in all, there are other similarly priced hostels in Phuket that offer a better service.

There are two reason I won't come back to this location. One is the yellow tinge in the water. It's the color of weak urine, but has no smell. Probably due to rusty pipes in the building. You can see it in the toilet bowl, and in the sink if you fill it up with water. They need to fix that. Not the funnest to shower in, let alone brush your teeth with. The other reason is the bed mattress, though it looks like a full-height mattress, it only has about 3 inches of foam on top. After about an hour of laying on it I felt my tailbone starting to get sore. I actually used the second pillow to laid it lengthways under my pelvis and lower back to buffer the sore points. Other cons, dirty/dusty in some spots, some cobwebs higher-up in the wall corners Quite a number of those small flies are found around the room. Here are the good points... No musty smell Spacious room with high ceiling Clean sheets, pillow cases and towels I'm fine with the ”constructionist” look Probably one of the cheapest rates in Phuket town for a private room Front desk service was professional.

Overall, the view is good. There is a 7-Eleven nearby, 500 meters away. The air conditioning is good. There is a TV, hair dryer, and refrigerator. Unfortunately, the water heater in the room was broken.

Stayed here for one night before our flight. Really nice small hotel. Only downside is there is no elevator and 3 floors. The lady on reception offered us which level we would like for the rooms, we booked 3 rooms and had one room on each floor, as most the vacant rooms were 3rd floor! Nice large rooms and clean rooms too.

Good to stay before departure, near the airport about 10 to 15 minutes walk, don't have to worry about booking a taxi. Wifi no good. There is a nice small swimming pool.

Well, the hotel location was convenient, there's a spot to park your bike, 24 h access with the card felt safe and I don't mind taking stairs to the third floor. The only issue we had was the toilet, as we were afraid every time it would get stuck. The administration reacted quickly and helped us with it, but still we were concerned that later it could happen again as the water was filling up to the top of it, hope the owners can improve this point. Overall, there may be places with a better price/quality ratio, felt like it could be better. Thank you!

The hotel was excellent—clean, comfortable, and offered great value for the price. While the area isn’t ideal for leisurely walks, there’s a fantastic Korean restaurant nearby, Central Phuket Mall within walking distance, and a cozy bowl place where you can enjoy delicious açaí bowls and great coffee. Overall, it was a pleasant and worthwhile place to stay!

Very good location in Patong, which is not too close to the party area. The check in was smooth. The room was spacious and sleek. The cabin was good and functional. Shower and toilet were clean. A room for improvement is obviously very weak and unstable wifi in room.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 days and really enjoyed the time spent there. The room is very spacious and bright, freshly renovated, has a comfortable bed, good water pressure. The hotel itself is 10 minutes drive from the Old Town, the most convenient way is to rent a bike to move around the locations The manager and the hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. We can recommend this place for your comfortable trip.
