The location is nice. There’s a supermarket nearby and it’s pretty close to the place you take the free ferry to the station. There’s a big common area on ground floor for you to chill and there’s also a bar. The staff is quite nice. I was living in female dorm room, it’s good that they have seperate bathroom and toilet en-suite and also outside of room so that I don’t have to pee myself. The individual bed light is so strong that I feel like I would wake someone up if I keep that light up but I’m gonna be blind soon if I look at my phone in complete dark. I slept well with the bed, except for the first night that a girl packed her stuff whole midnight crazy. (Which is not the hostel’s responsibility) travellers plz keep quiet in midnight, if you wanna make noise, go outside of the room.

Had a great experience as a solo traveller. All I needed was a comfortable bed and a shower in the morning and this fit that purpose. Room is well designed, and had plenty of hanging / storage space. Matress is firm, which is how I have mine so I was happy with the comfort of my sleep. No problems with both heating and cooling, as well as no hot water problems. Only thing I would say is if you’re staying on an outside room, and the rain is pretty hard, it will cause some noise as it hits the metal structure. Didn’t bother me, but it could bother others who are more sensitive to noise. I’d stay again , and felt it offered great value for money

Very lovely hotel, great location to museums and trams. Friendly staff. But noisy but that didn’t bother us at all. Room was small but my daughter and I enjoyed the coziness after a long day exploring. We had a great view too! Room tidied, bins emptied etc. Good shower with plenty of hot water.

I couldn't be more pleased with this hostel! I highly recommend it. The hostel, including bathrooms and showers, was very clean. The beds were super cozy and comfortable and offered some privacy. Staff was super sweet and helpful. Bonus points that the lobby always smelled like toast or freshly baked cookies! Also, the bike rental service was fantastic. One suggestion for improvement is that it would have been nice to have some wall hangers in the room. Since there were none, people resorted to hanging stuff from the bed ladders or just putting it on the floor.

Good stay but the shuttle was very disorganised and the bus driver was rude and unhelpful explaining the stops the shuttle was makibg. This wasn't helped by the fact that 2 of the hotels are called Of us Amsterdam airport and have a similar address on the website. The only distinguishing feature being the word budget. Overall good and was able to get in to Amsterdam for the evening whilst being close to the airport.

A group of us stayed at this hostel over the past weekend it was everything we needed for the price point. The staff were extremely kind and helpful in attending to our needs. Transport links are a quick walk away to get to the centre of Amsterdam.

We arrived early (about 11.30am) to leave our bags but we were kindly offered a room that was available straight away which was very kind. Our room was clean and spacious. Nice clean linen and comfy beds with a nice view of the Main Street. Air con/heating worked well. No street noise at night that I noticed although we were on the 4th floor. All staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. Lovely free coffee in reception area. Great budget hotel in an excellent location. Will definitely stay here again

I stayed 4 nights at the hostel and it was honestly a very fun experience. The atmosphere is conducive to meeting new people which is exactly what my brother and I were looking for. The staff were very friendly and key to the experience! Carlos, Amrita and Jonas were especially welcoming, helpful, and took their time to get to know us and make sure we were having a great time! Definitely recommend Only downside was the wifi connection and

I read a lot of poor reviews before coming here so my expectations were low but this hotel surprised me very pleasantly! The location is absolutely amazing as the other reviews say, literally a 5 minute walk to the Dam and so many cafes, restaurants, shops etc. are very close. The room was surprisingly spacious for what we expected, you can comfortably move around and store your stuff even with 3 beds. The room and bathroom were very clean and tidy and our sheets and towels were changed every day, even on a Sunday. Beds were very comfortable and there are blackout curtains so sleeping was no problem. There was no AC as the hotel stated but the temperature in the room was perfectly pleasant, only one day was hot because the weather was warmer in Amsterdam but it was manageable. We didn’t have any problems with bugs in the room even with keeping our windows open the entire day. Yes, there is noise coming from the street but honestly what do you expect from a hotel in the heart of the city. Apart from that there wasn’t any noise from other rooms, it felt as if we were alone on the floor. The only downside are 3 very steep and narrow sets of stairs but we came here expecting them (again, you’re coming to Amsterdam you should know how buildings here work) so it wasn’t too bad. The staff was really friendly and approachable, always greeted us and helped. Overall, if you want to find cheap accommodations in the middle of Amsterdam this is ideal, highly recommend 👍

Perfect for sleeping and storing the luggage, which is exactly what we needed! Nice and helpful staff. The atmosphere was cozy and the place felt clean. Slight downside is how warm the room got in the night. We also got the absolutely smallest room which was fine with us but beware it’s cramped. But I’m definitely staying here next time I’m in Amsterdam.

Wonderful staff ❤️ we stayed for 2 nights, yes it’s old and has lots of stairs so if you have mobility issues (like we did) it’s not for you. We booked this not realising how steep or unpractical it is, again my fault for not checking but my god the man at the desk (I’m so sorry I forgot your name) went ABOVE AND BEYOND! To accommodate us! He took all the stress away and made us feel like family and made us comfortable. We stayed in a twin with shared bathroom it was hot (26c) with a fan & window but it didn’t do much but it was okay, dated but can’t complain as we didn’t pay a lot. We slept well, no noise at the back, the shared bathrooms are ok. The hotel is in a good location, good selection of food and bars around! I would absolutely stay here again! We didn’t have breakfast but every day we were welcomed and helped whenever needed, our mobility walker was allowed to be left in luggage area whenever we needed it! What a lovely hotel & staff. If you like the history of the buildings and the architecture then wow this is a stunner the floors/stairs & decor is just what I love but I know it is dated but I thought it was perfect and fit for character. Mother in law stayed in a comfort double and it was so nice and fresh, view wasn’t the best but again, we didn’t pay a lot so we were happy with it, again we needed a lower room so we’re so happy for the help and appreciated anything we got! The staff were so pleasant, friendly and obliging when I asked if she could take a photograph of us. The hotel was an ideal place for us for the football. Room was perfect for our 1 nite stay and bed was so comfy. So close to all amenities, train,metro and food. Will definately be using this hotel again. ⚽️

This was our first stay at this location, but it certainly won't be our last. We had a bit of a panic during the day about arrival times as trains were horribly delayed, however the reception team were kind and reassuring throughout. The hotel is located next to a tram stop (take Metro to Zuid and then tram 5 to Kronenburg) for easy access to the city centre and the room was clean and comfortable. We didn't have breakfast, and there is no bar or restaurant at this hotel, however a range of drinks and snacks are available at reception and it is possible to order in food. Reception staff were also most helpful with printing off our travel documents for the next day.

Great value hotel approximately 8km from Amsterdam centre but easily accessible by bike but no really close trams or busses. Lively cafe /restaurant with excellent food and super efficient, polite and friendly staff- spare ribs are to die for! Friday and Saturday night expect good music till late but not much sleep. Rooms and bathrooms spotless but bring a fan with you as no aircon so rooms get hot during summer.
