As a repeat guest, I've noticed a decline in quality during my recent stay. The room now only accommodates two people. Cleanliness has become inconsistent, and the aging air conditioning system is noisy. Despite these issues, the hotel's layout, comfortable bed, views, and lighting remain positive aspects. Overall, I hope to see improvements to restore the hotel to its former standards.

This is my first time here, the hotel staff is so nice and kind. The room quite clean. Most importantly the toilet in a good condition. I will make sure to repeat again next time visiting

The hotel located in Section 15 Shah Alam near to Petronas Petrol Station. KFC restaurant available at the petrol station. Just a 3 minutes walk from the hotel. The staff Puan Yati was friendly. The room is reasonable in size. Should be ok for those who are having business to do at area in Shah Alam city. Just 10-15 minutes by Grab to the city.

The hotel is budget hotel so dont expect for luxury decorations. Im just stay at night, the hotel is silent, clean, easy to access I must say that im comfortable since the hotel still new Bring your own towel and toiletries Tv channel is only OK tv and Rtm 1 😆 Parking a lot, no restaurant near by, only mcd at the other side

all is good in hotel - need to go down at ground floor to iron cloth or hot water - near woth shop lot. so just go n eat there instead -it just bcz the location is near highway so its very noisy n always jammed -parking wise very limited. end up i got saman from bandaraya on my last staycation.

Comfortable to spend the night with the family. A lift is available for each floor and it is easy to carry things to the room. Comfortable and spacious bathroom. The location is close to the LRT station. There are many restaurants nearby, banks and convenience stores. Affordable price. Clean and tidy. Will come again to Hotel 99.

I chose this hotel as this is the only hotel with affordable price for my 1 night stay. Walking distance to nearby Giants Hypermarket, Decathlon & Mamak Restaurant. First come first serve parking but there are many available parking especially at night. Room was OK. I don't mind much about the furniture or the decoration. Aircond OK, Heater OK, TV OK everything seems comfortable for me. I would recommend to stay at this hotel for short term period as for me the room was comfortable.

We as a family stayed here end of Feb. It is a 2 star hotel with no breakfast. The room was not so big for a family room. There were towels, shampoo and soap provided. Cleanliness was ok. Bottled water was provided on the first day only. There was kettle provided for making hot drinks but no teabags or coffee bags given. TV program was limited without any national channel. There were few eateries around. Parking space was no problem as there were many in front of the hotel but you have to pay for it. The hotel has only 2 parking lots for their guests.

My stay is easy access to KL and UPM. .easy to get public transport. .convenience store is nearby. .recommended. .friendly staff among check-in and checkout. .room very tidy and clean. .suitable with the price stay per night. .

The price is definitely cheap, the room given is very spacious for 4 people and is very tidy. The bathroom is clean too but advice using own shower products as the provided shower products is usable but not recommended. The breakfast provided is limited in choice but delicious nonetheless. Location is very accessible to nearby shops. For car parking spots, need to depend on luck as there is a lot of people in nearby area.

Room is nice and clean free breakfast for people whos staying at the hotel Upon check in to the room theres a cigarette smell, we did ask for no smoking room, but mybe there no vacancy at that time Parking a lil bit hard to find, hotel did provide parking space but parking is limited

Stayed here a couple of times for proximity to One Utama shopping mall (MYR7-15 by GRAB) because the hotel there is expensive. Not sure why people would otherwise stay in Damansara since there are budget hotels in the city as well. Plenty of amenities within walking distance such as cafes, bars, local coffeeshops. Two fantastic speakeasies are in the same row (Hyde and 61 Monarchy). Nearby street parking is free, but difficult to find especially weekend nights when it is peak period at the bars and cafes. The cheapest room is around MYR70 (+ MYR10 if you are a foreign visitor)- no windows and just enough space for a bed and table. Sheets are stained but smell clean. Typical of such budget hotels, there is no separate compartment for shower so the water floods the entire bathroom (my pet peeve!!!). Drainage can be poor depending on your luck. No shelves to put any toiletries so you need to bring a toiletry bag or basket with a hook for your stuff. Only liquid soap provided in a mineral water bottle (mega weird). No stairs to get to the rooms.

Stayed for one night as I needed to do some errands in PJ and I needed a place to crash for the night. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. I used to see it before when I pass by the area, and it looks unassuming. Room is clean, toilet and bath is good. There's no toiletries available so bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste, or just buy from the nearby shop. The hotel is probably the best cheapest option in PJ8/PJ Newtown area. Hotel is near a lot of restaurants, shops, laundromat, and there is a bus stop in the front of the hotel. It's about 10-15 minutes walk to the nearest train station.

Room was very clean, spacious enough and good customer service . Was allowed to check in 1hr 15mins earlier without any additional charges. Rooom Rate was very cheap on my booking day. Lots of parking place and safe area. There is a 7 eleven and 99speedmart below. There is a LRT station opposite. Easy access to lots of places in KL & main parts of Selangor. Very near to PLUS Highway Exit (Damansara Exit). Hope the hotel can provide a small electric kettle to complete their excellent service. Thank you

The room is really clean and I like the shampoo / shower foam dispenser which encourages zero waste. There's a water dispenser (hot and cold water) on each floor too. The mattress and pillows are comfy too. However, for old people, it might not be suitable as there are no bed frames, just mattresses on the floor and the step up to the washroom is quite high. And there are no lifts. One has to climb up the stairs to go to one's room. For young people, this is a good budget hotel which gives you value for money.

Im very upset , just arrives late about 1 am we tried to call the hotel there is no response at all! Should hotel reception are 24/7 but there is no one to pick up my calls to reconfirm our lateness check in ! Then we arrives to the hotel itself i see the counter person has no experiences at all for handling online booking guest, plus he said that there are no rooms available anymore! How come i already paid for the hotel thru agoda and confirmed then suddenly he said that no rooms available ????? And he got no system at all for handling booking thru online ??? He asked me to go to the other New Wave hotel at Sungai Buloh under the same property, its been 20 mins from current location tho! Ok so we got no choice we need a place to sleep then check out, We arrived at the second property...This is my first nightmare hotel that i ever booked ! Its much more different from the picture that shown in agoda ? Are they trying to cheat a guest or what for doing business?Plus, the place are scary! There is a dark empty room with full of DUMPSTERS! We’ve got no other choice just walk along thru the nightmare area to reach our hotel room.. i cant believe it at all! Plus i am very angry now, we are really exhausted just put our eyes closed only, and bathroom sizes, are really bad its like a small store room that we have to change angle to close the bathroom door ! Please dont put this creepy, lowsy, low hotel services, it same like a motel rated standard in agoda ! Please , agoda have their own standards choices of hotel which is best reccomended for the guest/ customer!

A building with alot of history, oh if the walls could speak 😋 It's old and has alot of character(s) The cleanliness is not bad but you can definitely see the age showing through the apparent stains and cracks littered around. Checking in was quick albeit the lack of air-conditioning upon entering. Entering the lift felt like going back in time. The top floor ”P” is doesn't really stand for (P)ool rather is a ”wellness centre” with ”massages” for RM98 with the option to have said ”massage” in your room. Do what you will with that information. The floor which I was on smelt like a smoky pub. The room itself smelt fine and was actually pretty nice and had a vintage ambiance with the mirror and painting along with the light fixtures and wood trimming. My room had a window which couldn't be opened but still allowed sunlight thru. The air-conditioning is also dated but it was cold enough. The beds were clean but I did find a strand hair which wasn't mine 🤣. Toilets were not bad. The place is old and is definitely in need of refurbishment but for a place to lay your head and have some shut eye it's alright. If you're germaphobe it's probably out of the question.

The location of the hotel is very good. You can find a lot of restaurants and banking facilities near the hotel. The MRT Surian just a few minutes walking distances. It is very convenient for anyone who wants to travel to Damansara area for business or holiday purpose.

1.The towel and quilt is not clean, I got red spots on my whole body from the first day.When I checked out and try to negotiated this case with staff, at that time I didn't wanna anything but a say. They showed non respect attitude, they don't care about the case and they 100% don't want to be responsible. After stay I went to hospital, doctor said it was because I used unclean towel. It was very severs, so I can only ask sick leave for 1 week from work. Because the attitude and responds I got from hotel, this time I asked booking.com help me to go and negotiate for me, but the booking get the same answer, the hotel don's not possible to open the door. 3. Extremely low cost performance! The price I paid doesn't equals the room and service I get. Strongly don't recommend!!!!! 1. The towels and quilt sheets of the hotel were not clean and I developed a red rash after the first night of my stay. I tried to communicate with the staff and their supervisors on this matter when I checked out. I didn't mean to pay for it, I meant to say it, but the attitude they gave me from their staff and supervisors was that they didn't care what happened after I checked in, and they didn't want to take any responsibility. After the trip I went to the hospital and the doctor replied after the diagnosis that it was caused by the use of the hotel's dirty towels. Because the rash was so bad, I was able to ask for a week's sick leave and it had a very big impact on my work. After the doctor's diagnosis, I communicated directly with the hotel before, and the hotel gave a disrespectful attitude. This time I let booking.com come forward to help me communicate this thing. The result was the same. The hotel was completely irresponsible. I said that it would strengthen health management. I was very disappointed with this sense of responsibility and hygiene of their hotel staff. 2. The room was very, very small. Even if you bring the boarding box, you can't open the door when you open the boarding box. 3. Very low cost performance! Highly not recommended!!!

I've stayed with this hotels more than 4 times, the location is great. But most of the room is without window, the soundproof is really bad, reading lights beside the bed always spoiled. It is good if the room provide bath-mat and room slippers. Most of the room I've stayed before have strong cigarettes smell although I already requested non-smoking rooms/floors.

Good - Location was good. Very advance self fully check-in service was good. Bad - But your 5 last digit booking number was not the trip booking number, need to call them and get, or else cannot check in and nobody here to assist. So if the person at whatsapp or calling cannot get. Then you may need to wait and wait and wait. Luckily the pickup was at the second call. Bad - Only 1 card given. Room for 2 person. So means the room card is slot in to the power supply and second person cannot go out. Because you will have no card to come in. And your roommate need to fetch you from ground floor. At least provide extra cars for the convenience of guest. Bad - Toilet-bowl need deep cleaning. Can see the dirt around. Bad - Pool table out of order not repaired. PlayStation machine there but no control to use or play.

We did a walk-in and there’s quite a few rooms available, but we compared prices and booked a standard queen with no window through Agoda instead cause we save quite abit from booking online. It’s a very simple square room yet nicely designed. Their pillow cases and bedsheet are comfortably nice smell - makes me want to stay in bed all morning. Toilet is a frosted glass - there’s isn’t a lot privacy if you’re traveling with children. Downside of this place is that they are located above a pub, as I am a light sleeper, I could hear the music beating during my stay - I couldn’t sleep until 2 - 3am or either I will wake up at 1am. Since I couldn’t sleep, I read my book until I feel tired/sleepy - they had a light torch attached to the wall which I can conveniently switch it on without disturbing my Husband and son sleeping. Food are a easy to find, they are everywhere - there’s a restaurant located downstairs the hotel and we conveniently went down to have our dinner and breakfast - I feel that they are a bit expensive but their food are delicious. We then walk a bit to try another place at (if I could recall, it’s called) Curry House (if I’m not wrong) - there, we had our breakfast on our last day of stay. My most enjoyed meal was the Halal Chinese-Muslim dim sum called Muhd Chan, located the opposite back of from the hotel, near Guardian - worth the money and my son loves it! All in all, great staffs, but would like to specially thank Jimmy for making our stay comfortable and easy - he’s very helpful in every way and friendly too!

the hotel is close to the hospital and if you want to go to the hospital, you just need to cross it and there are many locations selling food too.
