Over all, super value of money hotel in the city. Strongly recommend this in Melacca.

The hotel placed within walking distance to Mahkota Hospital and Jonker Street, place very clean and they have water dispenser so we don't have to buy water bottle (eco-friendly). Staff Fitri (front office) and Amin (housekeeping) who are on duty did a great job and very friendly!!

The facilities are old and it’s clean but not spotless, so u may need to wipe ur table and switch if u mind the dust. The air condition is really cold and blanket is not really thick which makes me freezing overnight, thank god I got my bf to warm me. The towels are not recommended to use cuz it looks dirty and used before. The floor is a bit sticky but acceptable, wish next time can provide a slipper. The area is not noisy during our staying and the water dispenser is working but not produce hot water. There’s a pharmacy downstairs so it’s convenient to buy smt u need, oso 7-11 and a burger stall nearby. In conclusion, u get what u paid for.

This budget hostel is good for those solo travellers. The place is clean and vintage. Not as fancy as others but good enough for what I paid for. The AC is cold and there is a hot and cold shower too. Close to shops to eat and go around the River of Lights. A quiet place to relax and sleep after a long walk. The wifi is reliable too. Not for the fussy travellers.

Secure access card entry/exit ensures safety. The price was fair, the room was clean and hygienic, and hot water and air conditioning were available 24/7. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful; when I inquired about catching a bus to the terminal, they weren't entirely sure where the stop was, so they kindly walked me there themselves. Smoking is allowed by the entrance. There's a morning market right outside, and within 200 meters, you'll find a 7-Eleven and numerous restaurants. It's just 200-300 meters from the heart of Jonker Street, but still very quiet at night. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel to stay for short vacation. The room is clean and tidy. The staff hotel is friendly and helpful. Parking free provided by the hotel. Easy to get the food and beverage by walking distance.

Good value for the price. Excellent location in jonker street with smooth check-in checkout process. staff were friendly and polite. Only drawback is air conditioning dripping inside the room. would have been higher score if this can be fixed.

It's worth more than the price, the location, the facilities. I paid less than RM50 per night (not including the RM50 deposit). The bathroom and showers are amazing. The heaters is 5/5 stars, complete with shampoo, soap, towels. We got a window with the city view. The room is big and very comfortable, the air-conditioning is fully functioning. A lot of space for prayers. I'd definitely book this hotel again, next time.

I appreciated the comfortable bed and the basic amenities provided, including complimentary bottled water, toiletries, and a kettle for making tea or coffee. The Wi-Fi was reliable and fast enough for streaming and work. While the hotel doesn’t have an in-house restaurant, there are several eateries and cafes nearby, and the staff was happy to give recommendations. Parking was easy and free, which is a big plus in Malacca. If I had to mention a downside, the soundproofing could be better — I could occasionally hear hallway noise and other guests. But for a short stay, it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, the Asiatic Hotel offers good value for money and is a solid choice for travelers looking for a comfortable, no-fuss stay in Malacca.
