"I visited with my 18-month-old baby. I chose this room because it didn't have a bed guard, which was perfect. The location was excellent, and the view was fantastic. Being right in front of Sokcho Beach, we could easily go for walks, and parking wasn't bad either – it was all wonderful. We were able to lay down a mat in the living room and sleep with the baby. There was plenty of bedding, which I was satisfied with. I didn't have high expectations for cleanliness, so it was decent. The ocean-view side elevator was also not bad as it was mostly used by fewer people.
I'd probably go again if I get the chance."

"This is a very clean and thoughtfully decorated capsule hostel and probably the nicest I‘ve ever stayed in! It is very clean and the room has an AC, though the capsules itself get a bit warmer because of the curtains :)
Every capsule has a mirror, a very bright led light and even a window! The mattress was pretty thin, so for people who like harder bedding. The toilets and showers were in seperate rooms and the sink was in a little hallway without a door, so washing your hands or face made a lot of noise.
Make sure you bring earplugs! You don’t need towels or shampoo as the hostel provides it though.
The owner provides very tasty breakfast from 8-9 am, though it usually stays there until maybe 10 or 11! There was homemade Kimbap, Toast and homemade apple marmelade, boiled eggs and sometimes stirfried ricecakes :) There is also drip coffee!
I wish there was a laundry service and maybe some more opportunities for socializing though!"

"I booked this room last minute for a weekend getaway, and initially, I worried it might be too big for me and the kids. But it turned out great! We had plenty of space to play with toys and just relax on the floor, making our one-night stay very comfortable. The building is a bit old, but it seems well-maintained inside, so there weren't any major inconveniences. However, I was quite put off to find leftover ice cream from a previous guest in the freezer. Also, the fireworks at night were so loud that I had to close all the windows, but then an old, stuffy smell filled the room. So, I ended up opening all the windows again in the early morning to sleep. On the bright side, having a convenience store and restaurant right in front was a huge plus. I'd definitely consider staying here again!"

"This hotel isn't far from Chuncheon Station or the bus terminal. Its central location makes getting around super convenient, and the services, like the simple breakfast, are excellent. They seem to really prioritize cleanliness, and the unexpected Netflix service made for an enjoyable evening! In the morning, I had toast, cereal, and Hangang ramen, and even brewed some coffee. My only regret is that I only stayed for one day!"

"I had to travel for business and unfortunately made a double booking by mistake. I understood that the reservation was non-refundable, but instead of a simple cancellation, I provided proof of my stay and requested cancellation of the duplicate booking through the call center and the app. However, it was not canceled, and I ended up paying twice. While I fully understand the non-refundable policy for simple cancellations, I believe there should be an internal discussion to consider exceptions for accidental double bookings where a stay is confirmed. This incident has made me reconsider my previously positive impression of Trip.com."

"Large room, comfortable bed and nice shower/toilet made our 3 night stay very pleasant. A supermarket and bakery/coffee shop nearby. Bus stops very near so easy to get into the city. Nice walkway and park nearby too. Self check-in (at the machine on 3rd floor) only from 4pm. Lockers on 3 floor for earlier luggage storage if needed."

There was heating in the room, Netflix, amenities for comfortable stay.
As I saw, there is a free breakfast in the morning for the guests (except Mondays), so I couldn’t try it but I was absolutely satisfied with the room.

Guest UserThis hotel was a cool sanctuary on a really hot summer day. Perhaps because it's a new building or well-maintained, I didn't see a single strand of hair. It was incredibly clean, and the facilities were impeccable. Having a water dispenser in the room meant I didn't need to buy bottled water, and the coffee machine and bidet added to the convenience. The view was also fantastic. I usually wonder if paying extra for a regular ocean view is worth it since it gets pitch black after sunset, but my wife wanted it, so we booked it. This place, however, offered beautiful views from morning to night, including the night scenery, the sea, and Cheongcho Lake, which was lovely. There's a variety of great restaurants nearby, and Sokcho Beach isn't far either. It was truly a wonderful place to stay. If only the water pressure in the shower had been a bit stronger, it would have been a perfect 100-point stay, so I'll give it a 99 out of 100. Haha.

It took a while because the reservation numbers were different, but it was resolved through a phone call to the property. It was conveniently located right in front of the beach, and the view was beautiful. However, there is construction going on nearby, so it can be noisy during the day.

Guest UserIt was a really nice stay! Since the room was quite affordable for a 3-day vacation, I wasn’t expecting much, but it turned out to be much better than I expected, especially for the price.
The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The neighborhood was peaceful and had a charming village atmosphere. Each room has a table outside, so we were able to have dinner and relax on the porch in the evenings, which was a lovely experience. The accommodation is a bit farther from Mukho’s city center, but it was definitely worth it for the price. It was also easy to get a taxi whenever we wanted to go into the city. Basic amenities such as shampoo, body wash, and towels are provided, although you may still prefer to bring your own toiletries for personal comfort. There’s also a shared microwave available, and each room comes with its own refrigerator. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and a big part of that was thanks to the owner. Her kindness and hospitality made us feel very welcome, and I would happily stay here again.

I arrived from Sokcho and took an Uber from the bus stop. I had a hard time choosing a hotel in this area because I wanted a room with a bathtub, and most options were quite expensive. This hotel turned out to be a great choice — the room was really spacious, and there were only a few rooms in total, which made it feel more private.
They offered free breakfast. I’m not sure about other options, but I remember being asked what type of breakfast I preferred. I chose a sandwich, and every morning it was already prepared on the table at the first floor — all guests seemed to have the same. There’s also free coffee and tea available.
The amenities were excellent — the room was spotless and well-equipped with towels, bathrobes, slippers, a hair dryer, water heater, coffee and tea, a fridge, and complete toiletries including a toothbrush (which is rare in most hotels in Korea).
Overall, it’s a clean, comfortable, and quiet place to stay. I highly recommend it if you’re planning to explore the Chuncheon area

To be honest.. all's good. Just 2 mini grumbles..
1. I suppose because they do generally allow their guests to smoke in the room, i can still smell the tabacco lingering. Not the best smell through the nights there.
2. No lifts. Thankfully my luggage is not heavy this round so its still manageable else i could foresee an issue lugging it up and down the stairs.
Now.. the pros..!
1. It is very clean. Bathroom attached which its great.
2. Room size is okie for 2. Has tv, wifi, lots of plugs.. facial care as well actually.. and a rather nice-smelling diffuser.
Spacious even, to put 1 luggage. Theres a heater and aircon unit ( of cuz not needed in this winter season)
3. Bathroom is spacious. There's towels provided. Shampoo, bodywash and toothpaste even! Abundant hot water.
4. A stone throw away from the bus terminal. Less than 5mins walk. Loads of eateries, cafes and even a diaso. Oh and the market.
5. Small town.. so everywhere's walkable. Quiet, slow-paced town. Awesome to chill here.

Guest UserFamily half-ocean view, king-sized room. It was a bit pricey since it was peak season, but the ocean is right in front, and there's a convenience store on the first floor. It was also convenient to walk to nearby restaurants (mostly sashimi places). They provided two towels per person and bottled water for everyone in the fridge. There were also five pairs of slippers. I slept soundly without any noise, so the soundproofing must be good! The location was great, and I had a very comfortable stay.

During my 3,5 months in Korea, I stayed in a few accomondations and Bigso Stay feels like a very nice Motel (no hotel though). The room was nice, the bed was pretty big and the sheets were clean. I really liked the sliding window, which had two layers, one for actually opening the window and one with kind of a milky glass, to blur the view from inside and outside. They also had an insect net, so you could keep the window open at night with the lights on.
Unfortunately the bathroom had no window and sometimes the power just shut off, so sometimes I had to wash my face in the darkness. But they had a bathtub!
The AC air smelled a bit weird, so it may be due for a cleaning.
The Motel is pretty far away from the city and although it‘s right at the beach, there is a very loud big street inbetween. Even at the beach you could hear the cars :(
It is also no place for socializing, but that was not my goal either way :) (there is also some cats living in the area!)
