2-Star Hotels in Shimane Prefecture, Japan

"The hotel is located near Matsue station. The front desk agents were very polite and did their best to talk to me, despite my very broken Japanese. Guests are given a locker, protected by a keycard. The locker itself was good enough for me, who took only a conventional backpack and a pair of shoes, but might not be enough for those who are not traveling light like that. The bathrooms were shared and quite clean, fully furnished with amenities for showers and personal hygiene. WiFi was included and it was quite decent for general use, even when inside the shared bedroom. The bed capsule had a pillow and a blanket, lights and power outlets for phones. I had more space than I imagined, enough for me to sit on the bed. The only downside of this room type was air circulation, probably due to the hot climate that's been the standard here in Japan lately, but I think the fans could work more efficiently or the capsules could use an AC outlet. Other than that, I recommend this location and will certainly stay with them again."

"I often travel for nearly a month, and accommodation in outlying islands in Japan must use different app websites to find more choices and more reasonable prices. This one night in Hezhuang, the country of the West Isle of Hidden Island, is the best experience of this 19-day trip. This villa is located halfway up the mountain, overlooking the sea, the mountains and forests, the bay, the view is great! Hotel style management professional in place. I took the bus to the villa by myself. Although there is a small hillside, it is actually acceptable! If you want to take a relaxing vacation, you can also ask the hotel service staff to go to the port to connect! I live in a Japanese-style room with a large window facing the sea and a great view! The hotel staff is kind and happy to explain the nearby attractions and the breakfast meal that provides a connection service is also great."

"I made a reservation and stayed without knowing that it opened just before. I knew it was breakfast, but I was very happy without knowing that it was a plan to eat curry and frozen foods instead of dinner. This time I went out by car to meet Hamada and Masuda's friends and acquaintances, but of course the parking lot was free. When staying in Masuda with a youth １８ ticket, it is on the back side of the station, but it is about １５ even if you walk."

"The location is good, about 7 minutes away from Songjiang Station. The most important thing is that the service attitude is very good. The waiter introduced the room facilities one by one and confirmed the breakfast and dinner time very carefully. The breakfast was Japanese style and the dinner was very delicious. It was a typical Japanese meal with ten courses and the dishes were arranged very attentively. It was raining heavily when we checked out, and the owner (the two elderly people's home) enthusiastically helped us call a taxi to take us to Songjiang Station. Finally, I was so moved when he stood at the door and watched us leave!"

"Free laundry, no detergent, free coffee The amenities were substantial and the staff were very friendly and pleasant. The exterior is old, but the parking lot was free and comfortable. The price of the vending machine was also conscientious. If you have something nearby It is a hotel I want to go to. Thank you."

"Since it was a new building, the rooms and bathrooms were clean. They also provided complimentary late-night snacks, which was great. I'd like to stay here again."

"The room is lovely, a cozy traditional tatami style. It's managed by locals, so that's really nice. I kinda regret not getting a place closer to the center. It's 30 minutes walk from the train station (with some sights along the way). There is a local bus (Google maps seems to be on point with it) but it doesn't drive all that often. There is however a great Onsen 15 minutes walk from the hotel. I do reccomend that. :)"

"It feels like an old inn has been renewed for private guests. The building may be old, but the interior is beautiful. The single private room is super small with only a bed. Well, there is no problem with lying down and looking at your phone. It's a private room, but of course, you can hear the snoring in the next room, as well as the sound of opening the bag. It might be better to have an earphone. However, there is an inner hot water, the location is good, and the price is sufficiently satisfactory."

"This is considered quite stingy for a budget hotel in Japan. Laundry costs extra, dryer costs extra, and laundry detergent costs 100 yen. They don't provide skincare sets, bottled water, or disposable slippers (I asked the front desk, and they said the hotel doesn't provide them). Even the public bath lacks skincare products, and there were unidentified stains on the curtains. The facilities, however, are very new and clean. Except for the curtains and slippers, everything else is very well cleaned. Check-in is self-service; you can complete the process without speaking to the front desk."

"This time I left early and couldn't eat breakfast bread, but it seems to be very delicious. It seems to be recommended. I definitely want to eat it next time I stay! Check-in was quite late, but I had a polite customer service."
