"This was my last trip, taken to celebrate my mother's birthday during Golden Week. This time, we stayed in a twin room with a two-meal plan (dinner and breakfast). Since the hotel is located on a mountain, there are no shops nearby. I recommend buying anything you need before you check in. The hotel itself was new, modern, and very clean. It spans three floors, from the first basement to the second floor. Some hallways are a bit narrow, but you don't really encounter many people, so it's not an issue. After checking in, we headed straight to the public bath. It had a modern design and featured two saunas. The semi-open-air bath was incredibly relaxing. I'm always amazed by the unique, silky smooth water quality of Takeo Onsen! Dinner was at 5:30 PM in the restaurant on the first floor. You can go in your yukata (room wear), but it didn't quite match the atmosphere of the place, though the dim lighting made it less noticeable. The vegetables at dinner were absolutely delicious, almost as impressive as the meat and fish – they truly felt like a main dish! I went to the onsen again that night, and while I really wanted to enjoy some manga in the relaxation area, sleepiness got the better of me, and I went straight to bed. I woke up in the morning, enjoyed another soak in the onsen, and then had breakfast at 9 AM. Breakfast was a Japanese set meal, and it was the kind of food your body thanks you for in the morning! You can get refills on rice and miso soup. Check-out was at 10 AM. The water, beer, and non-alcoholic cocktails in the room's mini-fridge were all included, and you could even take them with you! We were sent off at the entrance, which was a lovely touch, and left feeling very content. Even for us, who don't have much sauna experience, it was a refreshing and rejuvenating trip in just one night."

"The hotel room was spacious, and they even added a crib for a child in our standard twin room, which was very thoughtful. Environment: The hotel has an elegant ambiance with a vintage feel. The decor and facilities are retro, and they even use keys instead of room cards. Beyond accommodation, the hotel also has meeting and banquet halls, and a chapel ⛪ that can be used for weddings. The chapel's exterior resembles a carp with its mouth open and tail raised, which is quite unique. Service: The hotel staff were warm and attentive, providing detailed explanations of the surrounding area and how to use the various facilities. Dining: Dinner, included in our package, was served at the hotel's first-floor restaurant. We ordered the Saga beef set meal, which was absolutely amazing. It truly lives up to its reputation as a renowned cut of beef; it was incredibly tender and juicy, almost like liquid flowing into your mouth. The restaurant service was also very friendly and attentive. Location: It's a convenient 5-minute walk from Saga Station, and there are bus stops nearby connecting to various parts of the city. There are also children's parks and green spaces nearby, making it a relaxing place to enjoy local life."

"It was really clean and nice just after it was new! When you get out of Takeo Onsen Station, you can see it right on the left! The location was crazy ~ The room and the large bath were so clean and above all, there were few people, so it was so good !! The large bath was almost chartered ㅋㅋㅋ! Breakfast was buffet and the curry was especially delicious. In the evening, there was a restaurant in the hotel, where they sold kaiseki or set meals!! It looks delicious when I saw someone else post it in Google reviews! The price was about 2500 yen !! I'm going to stay here again if I come to Takeo again in the wall! I highly recommend it to those who travel alone!!"

"I loved our stay! Ladies that run the ryokan are the most beautiful souls! They will look after you and make sure you feel well. You need to take into consideration it’s an older kind of ryokan, has nothing to do with modern places but it’s spacious, it’s in the nature, it’s perfectly clean and has great onsen after which you’ll feel super rested. The dinner is quite expensive but totally worth it! We had amazing experience! Breakfast is a feast! Everything was so lovely. I hope I will be able to go back."

"This hotel is the same group as Yoshida House on the previous street. I stayed at Yoshida House Hot Spring Hotel the night before. The second night I stayed at this soup hotel. There was no staff in this soup hotel. It was fully self-service. I encountered difficulties when I checked in. I couldn't enter the hotel and needed to ring the doorbell. Contact the staff of Yoshida House and communicate in general English. After he opened me to the hotel from a distance, I couldn't check-in procedures by myself due to the name problem. I needed to wait for the staff to come over to help. Because the distance from Yoshida House is very close, the staff will come to help in a few minutes. Even if you encounter some difficulties when you check in, the experience in this hotel is good, the room is large, the hotel has free parking, the hot spring water output is slightly slower than Yoshida House, breakfast is to fall downstairs to get a box of sandwiches and a can of drinks, If you want to soak in the private hot springs in the room at a cheap price, you can live in this room, but don't want staff to serve you"
