"I really liked the ventilation in the capsule. It was cold in the hallway where the capsules are at night because the air conditioning was on. There were no odors, so the capsule itself felt fresh too. I'm not sure how the ventilation is set up, but I was pleased with it. The common area on, I think, the 10th floor was usually empty, so I could sit and eat alone, which I also liked. After this, I stayed at a couple more capsule hostels in Japan, and this one was the best in terms of the capsule design and living area. My only complaints were with the kitchen and cooking facilities. But for sleeping, it's an excellent option. The showers and toilets were great too."

"First hotel once touched down in Osaka. It was great as they allow early check in which is so so grateful and thankful for after a long flight due to long layover time. The staff is friendly and nice. But there’s one disturbing thing is every morning around 7/8/9 am, there will be door banging constantly and I assumed it’s the cleaning process which need to open some kind of room constantly. It was quite disturbing as it awakes me almost everyday. There’s the only downside. Other than that, location is great with walking distance to Tsutentaku and near to Zoo and Museum. It’s quite comfortable and will be perfect without the banging noise. Might hesitant to book again due to the noise as a light sleeper. Hope it can be improved in future. Overall, great stay and it’s near to a great luggage storage shop which named Daikoku Locker. Extremely cheap and easy to store,"

A large hostel has opened in Osaka's Shinsekai district. Located just a 2-minute walk from Naniwa's symbol, Tsutenkaku Tower, in the Shinsekai area. It's also just a 10-minute train ride from Namba, one of Osaka's popular tourist spots. We offer not only free Wi-Fi, but also a spacious lounge and bar area, providing a friendly environment where travelers can mingle happily. Experience Shinsekai's unique local cuisine, the warmth of its downtown community, and the laughter and energy that define Osaka. We welcome guests from all around the world, not just as a place to stay, but as a base to truly experience this vibrant city.

"This is a great place, with an excellent location right next to the subway, Tsutenkaku Tower, and Shitennoji Temple. It's also very clean. It's actually a hostel, but they have regular private rooms on the second floor. It was my first time staying in a place like this, and it was quite interesting. In the evening, in the communal lounge on the second floor, I saw some blonde French-speaking women making salad, some Spanish speakers cooking pasta, and two Koreans making a pot of Shin Ramyun – it was quite fun. The hotel doesn't have kettles or provide bottled water, but there's a water dispenser on the second floor where you can refill your bottle, and coffee and tea are complimentary. I didn't get the hotel breakfast; if you turn left when you go out, there's a bento specialty store, and to the right, there's a FamilyMart. There are lots of good eats around, like beef offal curry, sea urchin rice, eel rice, and sushi."

"I found the room to be quite clean, and the self-check-in process was very smooth. I have no issues with the host/establishment at all. It's also pretty close to the subway. The only downside is that it can get a bit noisy when there are more people, especially around 11 or 12 at night when some guests are still tidying up or chatting (this is more of a guest issue). If you're looking for a really good night's sleep, I'd still recommend a hotel."

"Although it's a bit of a walk from the station, I was extremely satisfied with the condition of the room for this price! Like most Japanese rooms, the space to open our luggage was a bit tight, but we managed to arrange it well and had a comfortable stay! Haha. It was a little disappointing that the window only opened a tiny crack, but the soundproofing was excellent, the bathroom was cozy, and most importantly, I loved having a bathtub! It was also great that there's a convenience store nearby and Dotonbori is only about a 10-minute walk away! You can grab as many amenities and towels as you need from the lobby on the first floor, and I even saw some Koreans having a simple meal there! The front desk staff were really friendly, and I was surprised by how spacious the elevator was, which isn't typical for Japan, haha. We paid around 15 for three nights, and we're so satisfied!"

"The hotel is conveniently located near a train station. The staff service is good, but the cleanliness is substandard. Free room cleaning is offered once for stays over 3 nights. "The Japanese here are comically disorganized. The hotel sign was only in Katakana, with no Kanji or English. Despite being someone who can usually communicate freely in both English and Japanese, I ended up circling the building three times, totally lost. I even asked a Vietnamese girl for directions, and she sent me the wrong way! Dragging my suitcase, completely drenched, it finally dawned on me: that Katakana was just a phonetic transliteration of an English name. That's how I eventually found it. Remember this: the hotel sign says 'アズーガデン ホテル'. Don't make the same mistake I did looking for a 'Garden Hotel' and crying in Osaka's Nipponbashi district. The room itself was decent, but it's right by the street, and the biker gangs were absolutely blasting noise all night. It was so loud!"

Right next to Shin-Imamiya subway station, so getting around is incredibly convenient. The front desk staff rotate, with two people on duty at a time, including locals, Chinese, Koreans, and Indians. There's a women's shower on the 4th floor, men's showers on the 6th, and a men's bathhouse and microwave on the 10th. Downstairs, there are convenience stores, pharmacies, and places to eat nearby. The room was super small, but quite clean, and they provided towels and plastic slippers. Because it's close to the train tracks, there's a bit of noise. Plus, there's some noise from motorbikes speeding by. I stayed for 3 days, and there was hardly any noise from other guests.

The location is quiet and close to two train stations, making it convenient for getting around. The staff are very responsible and respond quickly, even late at night. When we had a problem with the water heater in the early morning, they sent someone to fix it the next morning. The staff member in charge even spoke Chinese, which was very thoughtful and dedicated. There's a small balcony, which is great for drying clothes. If you like trains, you can also watch them pass by at the nearby station from the balcony. Downsides: The location is a bit too secluded. In winter, it gets dark very early, and there are very few dim streetlights in the residential area. There are almost no pedestrians, so as a solo female traveler, I felt a bit scared and had to return to the guesthouse early. There are no restaurants downstairs; you have to walk to find them. The water heater was troublesome; it's a storage type, so you constantly have to check if the water level is low and manually boil water, otherwise, you won't have hot water for a shower (I discovered this when the temperature was around 1-2 degrees Celsius, but once the temperature rose, the water heater didn't take as long to heat up).

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, with super convenient transportation and plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The lobby is grand and bright, and the rooms have excellent natural light and views. The mattress and pillows are incredibly comfortable, a real blessing for anyone who prioritizes good sleep. Not only are the facilities top-notch, but the service is also impeccable. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit!

Self check-in is available, and there's an elevator. It's a private room with a shared bathroom. The main bathroom is on the first floor, and there are separate men's and women's restrooms on every floor except the first. It was great having a double room all to myself – I could finally open my suitcase fully in Japan! The room also comes with a small fridge. The only issue was that the hallway common areas on each floor don't have air conditioning, but the common area on the first floor does (probably because the front desk is there).
