"There's a dedicated women's area, completely separate from the mixed-gender dorms, which feels very safe. There's also a small terrace where you might see cats from the neighborhood. The facilities are basic; the pots in the kitchen are old, and one of the shower racks is broken, but thankfully there are enough shower stalls. For food, they offer some bread, cookies, eggs, pasta, and tea, all free of charge. The location is excellent, close to both the train station and bus stops. Florence's main city isn't that big, so pretty much everything is within walking distance. There are tons of restaurants nearby, and even a Chinatown."

"I would give this hostel a perfect score if it weren't for its location. The living conditions are ideal; the beds are even more comfortable than those in a hotel. The only issue was that the air conditioning was too cold and couldn't be adjusted, making me feel a bit chilly at night. The staff were very helpful, and the lobby was clean and cozy. However, this hostel feels more like a hotel than a traditional hostel because there's no communal kitchen. You can use a card to operate the washing machine and dryer, though. There's a study area, and it seems you can even book yoga classes and other activities. If, like me, you prefer to stay closer to the city center, this might not be the perfect choice, as the nearby bus route 17 is often delayed or unreliable. But if you prioritize a comfortable living experience, I wholeheartedly recommend it."

"Basic facilities are just the room choice. Although you can still ask for a quieter one, Florence is more lively at night, so the sound insulation is a little bit worse and it will be noisy, but the counter is very warm and friendly. The overall cp value is high. The hotel also sends a small gift."

"The hotel's proximity to the station was incredibly convenient. My only minor gripe was with the entrance lock; it was a key code system, and the instructions on the paper were in a foreign language with several numbers listed, making it hard to figure out which code to use. I struggled to get in, and ultimately, I only managed because someone happened to come out from inside. This made me hesitant to go out at night, fearing I might not be able to get back in. On the positive side, the room, including the bathroom, was exceptionally clean, and I appreciated the provided slippers. What surprised me most was that soft drinks like Coke and Fanta Orange were complimentary, just like water. This was confirmed during check-in."

"I took the tram from the airport and walked from the nearest station (Firenze Santa Maria Novella St.) to the hotel without any problems.
I took the old, narrow elevator to the 4th floor, where I was greeted by a friendly hotel staff member and shown to my room. The room was very small, and the shower room/toilet was also very compact.
It had the bare necessities so it was not a problem for me.
I heard the breakfast area was nice, but unfortunately I was only staying overnight so I couldn't go.
The hair dryer was simple, so if you are particular about hair dryers, you may want to bring your own.
The location is great, but considering the quality of the room, I feel it could have been a little cheaper."

Guest UserComfortable and pleasant stay for 2 friends in the twin room. The room was spacious enough and very clean. No complaints about the room. The air conditioning was also very powerful and a nice escape from the heat outside. The hostel is literally right opposite the train station and only a 5-8 minute ride away from firenze santa maria novella by the regional trains. However, the trains were sometimes delayed up to 20 minutes. There's also a bus stop outside the hotel, however only one bus goes there and it comes every 20 minutes, so be prepared to wait. The bus timings is also not accurate on google maps so you must check at the stop directly. The hostel is also just a 30 minute walk to the central (santa Croce area) so if you don't mind walking, it's quite convenient! The luggage storage is very helpful if you arrive earlier than the check in time. Theres also a grocery store a close walk away which was great!

Amazing stay. 10 min drive to a parking in the City Center in Florence. Kids loved it, they were tired of hotels, this is a tiny house, lots of families around, camper vans, playground, shop, pool, laundry.
The tiny house is super clean, spotless, probably brand new. Very efficient, well organised. We took a premium one, it is already not large for a family. Spotless linen and towels, all duvets were sealed in a bag, looks dry cleaned, fresh. All tableware, cooking ware and cutlery provided. Air conditioner in both rooms, mosquito nets, proper water pressure and hot water.
Very nice attentive staff. We checking late in the evening, which was a plus for us, we saw a checking queue in the morning it looked very long.
All the best to this place and the team!

Great stay! The room was very clean, and my roommates were all lovely and had a good routine. Although it was listed as a six-person room, it was actually a five-person room. The private bathroom was very convenient. There's a Carrefour right next door, and it's only about a ten-minute walk from SMN train station, with a McDonald's and KFC along the way. I was very satisfied with this trip.

Our stay was incredibly comfortable and easily the best value for money on our trip. Everything about it was fantastic.
The front desk staff were exceptionally warm and friendly, providing genuinely thoughtful service. The check-in perks were a real treat: we received a complimentary welcome drink on arrival, with a choice of alcoholic or non-alcoholic options, and free pasta every evening, which was a delicious bonus.
The room itself was spotless and well-maintained, with brand-new, complete facilities, making for a very pleasant stay. There's also a convenient water dispenser in the public area on the first floor.
Transportation was a breeze. The tram stop is just a minute or two's walk away, and it's only two stops to the train station, saving us a lot of time and hassle getting around.
The hostel's common areas are well-designed, with both indoor and outdoor dining and relaxation spaces, and you can order food on-site. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, making it easy to meet fellow travelers from all over the world, which was a great social experience. Considering the accommodation quality, extra perks, and excellent location, I highly recommend this hostel.

Я останавливалась на три ночи .Пешком до Санта Мария Новелла минут 20.Хозяева приятные люди ,встретили ,все рассказали .Завтрак был включен в стоимость ,вкусно .Кофе 👌Но общий душ и санузел ,имейте в виду.Я вставала рано утром ,в 7.00 примерно ,проблем не заметила.Wi-Fi тоже порадовал и большой новый телевизор (поддерживает видео с телефона).Выдали тапочки ,халат и полотенца .Под фен розетки подошли .Благодарю за гостеприимство.

The location is excellent, making it easy to explore Pisa and get around the city, while the atmosphere was friendly, welcoming, and relaxed. This hostel completely exceeded my expectations for its price point. It's located in a monastery, which you can actually visit, and they offer a free breakfast of coffee and a croissant. The location is super convenient, close to both the train station and major attractions, making it perfect for backpackers like me. The only downside is that the soundproofing in the rooms isn't great.

There's a very practical and spacious storage area under the bed for luggage. The air conditioning runs 24/7, and there are plenty of dining options nearby.

ReddineyeoWe had such a fantastic 3-night stay at Hotel Diana!
From the moment we walked in, the host and staff were absolutely incredible. We arrived quite early, but they immediately made us feel right at home, sitting us down with coffee and snacks while sorting out our room, which was such a lovely and thoughtful touch after travelling.
The room itself was so comfortable, and we both had some of the best nights' sleep of our entire trip. You can tell real thought went into decorating the place; we especially loved all the art and pictures on the walls, giving it so much charm and character.
Breakfast each morning was spot on,not over the top, just a really fresh, delicious spread to start the day. Plus, the location couldn't be better for wandering around and exploring Lucca on foot.
My husband and I couldn’t recommend Hotel Diana enough if you're planning a trip here. We’d happily stay again in a heartbeat!
