Exceptional staff and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. I really loved the communal vibe among guests, turning it into more than just a place to stay. The hostel organized evening activities fostering connections. I stayed in a 4-bed dorm room. The bed had a sliding door for extra privacy, comfortable mattress, and spacious storage drawer with a lock. The ensuite bathroom was also spacious. The hostel's location is a dream for avid walkers. I was able to stroll to San Giovanni for the Scala Santa and Basilica San Giovanni di Laterano, as well as to Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore and even further to the Colosseum. The proximity to Manzoni, Vittorio Emanuele, and Termini metros made navigating the city a breeze.

It was an extended weekend family trip, so this hotel was a good fit since it was not all that far away from some interesting things, and it was priced reasonably. The room was spacious, with a plain design making it a little ugly, but it was clean and well cared for. Our view was of the apartments in the opposite buildings, but we got our views elsewhere. The bathroom was OK even if the shower doors did not close properly. They cleaned the room daily and left fresh towels, even if we did not ask for. What was really bad was the soap/shampoo that they offered. Not that it smelled bad or anything but it reminded me of the soaps hotels had in the 80s The common are was almost always busy, but the people were respectful and friendly, and left the place clean. The wifi was fast, even when using VPN like I did. Breakfast was nice, with a lot of choices and interesting flavors. But the coffee was really bad. You do not expect that in Italy, but it was from an automatic machine that made different kind of coffees, so the result was bad. The people that worked there were always smiling, were friendly and eager to help, which is something that always helps when you are staying in a foreign country. The hotel is next to a police station and the immediate area felt safe, even at night. There are homeless people close by but they never bothered us. There is also a metro station within walking distance. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and it is a great choice for a brief family vacation

We booked two nights in this B&B without anyone knowing what expectations, we needed only a support to sleep and wash, and we had to spend the days out. But just when you entered this room, say that we were coming to cry is little! Room costs more than EUR 100 per night, without a need for too many words, I attach the photos. From the window a sparkling view, the various room accessories were falling in pieces, the abatjour was disconnecting from the wall, the hair dryer full of muffa, the dirty window!!! The small bathroom could not move inside, one thing never seen. There is no room to move between shower, washing and water!!!! And I don't want to talk about the neighborhood, outside the door of this residence, they were homeless everywhere on the ground. We are people who adapt, I repeat, we did not seek anything luxurious, but at least the minimum essential to stay dignified . The owner is a gentle person, my advice is to make this room not lively, but at least presentable, because it is not. The room was warm because of the presence of hot thermophones on the night and night hours. The mattress was comfortable and soft, you sleep well. But, unfortunately, with regard to location in itself, if you are looking for a minimum of decentness, I strongly advise you to change your place.

The reception desk and bar are decorated with statues, lights and velvety chairs. The staff at reception are friendly and very understanding. They are chatty and kind, and quick to help fix any problem or query. The bar is great. The decoration and events held in there are great fun. The drinks are a good price and there is a party every night, which makes sense, as it is a party hostel. The bedrooms are large, but the furniture is not what I anticipated. Compared to the glam downstairs, the hostel bunk beds are creaky, the lower bunk being so low I could not sit up straight. There are sockets next to the beds, but no lights. The only light is the main light. The chairs and tables provided appear secondhand (which is great - I approve of using secondhand items), but considering the contrast of the reception/bar area to the furniture in the rooms, I was quite surprised by the difference in quality. There are showers and toilets on each floor, all communal and separate from the rooms. I found the loos were clean and (mostly) always stocked. The showers were a different case. Whilst all the showers worked and were often available, there was 2 out of 4 showers that had nowhere to put your items whilst showering, except for the floor. In one of the showers, the ventilator cap had fallen off on to the shower floor. I also noticed that the water didn’t really get much hotter than lukewarm, which wasn’t an issue due to the heat outside, but if you want a warmer shower, it wasn’t feasible. You are also sharing 4 showers with 4 - 6 other rooms, which contain 6 people each (at most). That’s around 30 - 40 people for the 4 loos and showers. Understandably, this means quite a bit of grub and muck gets trodden into the showers. Whilst I imagine the showers are clean in the morning, I found that because other guests do not clean up after themselves, that the showers can become a bit grim by the end of the day. This is not on the staff, but moreso on other guests, but I do want to state that as a precaution to other future guests. Additionally, there was also quite a bit of black mould in these showers (mostly on the seals and ceiling), which I did not notice initially. The noise from the bar may disturb your sleep. My friend and I had earplugs, so we had no issues, but other members of our room were apparently woken up by the music and noise of other guests during the night. Again, it is a party hostel, so this is expected; however, I have stayed in other party hostels before and the sound proofing proved very effective, as I could not hear other guests. This was not the same at Alessandro, sadly. The only real issue I had was the air conditioning. Whilst the AC does work, it is not very strong. My friend and I did not notice the difference of outside/inside during the day. At night, it seemed t

I booked this room for the last two nights of my trip mainly due to it's proximity to Termini. The room was small, clean, and relatively quiet. The check-in staff was friendly, but when I asked one of the housekeepers for an additional bath towel, as there was only one supplied, she gave it to me but seemed rather annoyed that I wanted another. It was when I took a shower the first night that I found that the water pressure was essentially a trickle and I was barely able to wet my hair. I'm not some big budget traveler, used to huge amenities, and I've dealt with the occasional low water pressure before in the hotels that are in my budget, but this was beyond compare. If I had more than a single additional night booked, I would have asked for another room or found another hotel. The included breakfast was a croissant and juice/coffee brought to the room. Aside from it's location, I don't feel it was worth the value. Based simply on the water pressure issue, I would not recommend it unless it is essential to be within a stone's throw of Termini.

I would give 3.5 Stars. I stayed in a 6 bed female dorm room. It was fine, but the mattress wasn't all that comfortable and they didn't have a fitted sheet on it. I had to tuck the flat sheet around it myself and then it would loosen up over night. They had lockers but no locks for them, you had to bring your own. It kind of bugged me that they charged me 2 euros to store my luggage on the day I checked out until it was time for my train to the next part of my trip. I've stayed in hostels all over the world and this is the only place I've ever been charged extra for luggage storage. Now for the good stuff, it was clean and the decorations were cute. The breakfast was AMAZING, definitely worth it to book the rate that includes breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful and they had some nice places to hang out and relax. The location was excellent as well.

This is my first time to Italy. Booked through Jet2. Great location. This was ideal for our 4 night stay. If you are into walking you can walk to most of the main tourist destinations in Rome. Also a 5 min walk to subway. Room was a good size. Fresh towels etc. Vending machines in the reception area for snacks and drinks. The hotel has a secure entry system so only guests can access. Would defo stay here again.

The stay was lovely. The place was clean and very close to the train station, and subway. Enjoyed the stay. Very helpfull and kind staff. Good service. Nice and clean accomodations. Highly recommendable hostel. I had a very pleasant stay. The staff was really helpful and courteous. The location of the hostel is great and close to everything. Regards.

It was a wonderful stay in the village. Beautiful and peaceful views and surroundings with the nature. Lots of facilities, pools and playgrounds to enjoy with kids and family. However, it is little far from the city area, not in walking distance.

Camera spaziosa e luminosa, personale molto professionale e ottima colazione con caffè e cappuccino con macchina espresso e non con i soliti distributori automatici. Inoltre un comodo parcheggio senza supplemento di prezzo. Insomma, da ritornarci.
