Seven Hostel & Rooms

I have been renovated and it is very tidy. The rooftop sky lounge is awesome with sunbeds and recliner sofas for you to lie down. It is only a 30-minute walk from Sorrento and is perfect for scooters. There are many people riding scooters in Sorrento. I still can't forget that memory! Sorrento’s hotels are expensive, but this is a disadvantage.
B&B REVOLUTION BED & BREAKFAST

A fantastic little room, the cleanliness couldn’t be better, the person who greeted us for check in didn’t speak much English but was more than happy to spend time with us translating and ensured everything was up to par for us, which it was and more. Not too far from a good pizzeria and the train station for napoli etc. The aircon was powerful and cold, as was the mini fridge. Highly recommend and would stay again if i am in the area again.
La Controra Hostel Naples
4.5/516 Reviews
We were a Norwegian school group (aged 14/15 years) and we really appreciated that the hostel were willing to host us for four nights. The rooms and facilities were beyond expectation; clean and well-maintained. Some of our students commented on how lovely it was that each of the dormitory rooms had its own character. The centre courtyard was lovely for early evening meetings and morning gatherings. The breakfast was healthy and fresh with enough to feed everyone. The staff went above and beyond to help us; detailed information about the city, help with maps, help with luggage, help with ordering pizza! and so much more. We were all so very grateful that we had this little haven in the middle of a wonderfully chaotic city. Thank you so much.

Central Station
Hotel is located less than a 5 minute walk from the central train station. Rooms are clean, bathroom is clean, water in the shower is HOT, and the AC in the rooms is strong (even waking up several times in the night cold!). Yes the neighborhood around the hotel isn’t the best, but the staff at the hotel has no control over that, and we even noticed that’s how a majority of Naples is (do your research on the city itself before visiting). For the price of the hotel I really don’t know where the bad reviews come from. People want a 5 star hotel for the price of 60 Euro a night. Also, the manager is very kind, polite, and hospitable. We had no issues while staying here and would definitely return for the price that we paid for the room. The building and the hotel itself are very secure, requiring to be buzzed in for entry to both. The bed is also comfortable considering some of the other locations we have stayed in in the country. Overall, a great experience if you want a very central location for a very good price.
Hopestel Secret Garden Napoli

The Hopestel indeed is a beautiful place If you won't go there you will miss something of Neaples Hopestel is located in the historical centre of Neaples where you can bread the traditional poplar culture. When you will be in the Hopestel's  entrance door building you will not believe that in that place you will find a magic garden. Amelia Hopestel's owner is a lovely person and you can trust her 100%, you will feel very welcome Also the Hopestel is a very elegant place with a piano player music in the enchanting living room Enjoye your stayng Cheers Valerio Arduino Gentile

The B&b is located in a central location. The room is very clean. The lady has always been kind and available for anything. We will certainly return, I am very happy. The hotel is located in the centre of the city, close to pizzeria, bar, port ... This is a great breakfast.
Hostel of the Sun

Port of Naples
I’ve been in the Hostel of the Sun a couple of times and discovered with amazement how charming and delightful it is. I say surprisingly since it is located right in front of the port of Naples, among bus stops, coaches’ pick-up and drop-off points, ticket offices and tourist attractions. As far as I am concerned, in such areas it’s not easy to find decent accommodation. All adequate lodging establishments are high-priced when in the middle of everything, especially during the high season, while turnout is at its peak. On the contrary, the Hostel of the Sun is always inexpensive, and it must be said that it’s not only the price to make a difference. It is also clean, comfortable and lively, whereas in many centrally located hotels I visited I spent two, three times as much with the result of sleeping on shabby mattresses, under worn out, dirty linen and blankets. The filth from congested roads was so invasive that it had changed the colour of the interior walls and I felt I was breathing it in the air. In addition to this, the premises were often run down, depressing, inconvenient. The hostel of the Sun instead, is located on the 6th and 7th floors of a pleasant block of flats, which keeps it away from the noise of the streets and its chaotic environment, from air pollution, garbage, dust, grime and danger. At the moment you enter the lobby of the building you feel out of harm’s way, especially at night, after walking alone in the dark through creepy alleys, in contrast with many cheap hotels that still appear terrifying even when you are under your own sheets. But what struck me the most was the affable, sympathetic atmosphere of the hostel, since I had never found anything warm or gentle near big transport hubs, yet impersonal, confusing, soiled, harsh surroundings and shelters. I think the entire staff deserve a praise for this.
Hotel le Orchidee

Port of Naples
Poor communication from the start as the property was very hard to find. It is on the fifth floor of a very large apartment building and with just a very small sign on the door, which was locked and we had to figure out how to call up to the desk using the intercom for them to let us in. It would have been appreciated if they had shared those details with us prior to check-in to save us the time and anxiety of trying to find the place. Once we got in, the place was very old and run down. Did not feel welcoming at all. The room was the same and there was a terrible sulfur smell coming from somewhere in the bathroom. We then tried to take a shower and the water was at first scalding hot not matter where you turned the handle for the first few minutes, and then it was freezing cold for the rest of the time. Really not a great experience at all. We are not people who need a luxury hotel by any means, we simply look for a comfortable place to sleep and take a shower. This didn't provide either of those things for us. The only reason I didn't give it 1 star is that the man at the desk was helpful enough to call for a taxi for us in the morning and it was a decent location as we were coming from the ferry port that night and heading to the airport in the morning.

Capodichino
The man on reception was the rudest receptionist I have ever encountered, gruff, miserable, ignorant and unhelpful. For more interested in looking any passing female up and down than doing his job. The pods themselves are basic, clean and functional. The bathroom areas are a disgrace, toilets shower and handbasins all in one room. Locks missing on half the rooms so not usable, no soap or a means to dry hands were one is expected to poop. The cross infection hazards and possibilities on this alone are disgusting. Most of the showers are broken, run lukewarm at best and the toilets are dirty and stained with urine and faeces. Very little cleaning seems go on. I tried to say hello to four different staff members and was ignored by all of them. A great idea but needs revision and way better management!
