There was a washer, but no dryer. 2-in-1 shampoo and shower gel was provided. Shower screen was too small so a floor squeegee was provided to swipe water back into the bath area after shower. Breakfast spread and quality was excellent including some homemade cakes, breads and cookies. Location was just a 10min drive from the puffins. Our best stay in Iceland and highly recommended"

The front desk little goth waited for us to tell us where to see puffin. It is especially emphasized that you can see thousands of puffin at this time at night. We didn't hesitate to go, sure enough, a lot, but fun"

"This time I went to Iceland to choose to stay at the Franz de Guesthouse. The hotel is located in a fishing village, Matou, beautiful scenery, neat rooms, fully equipped public kitchens, the landlord is very hospitable, making people feel at home, very good, it is recommended"

Mmodena25We stayed here in transit for our trip around the ring road. The room was clean and had accommodations for the four of us. The breakfast was a plus and helped us get on with our trip the next day. They have blackout curtains so sleeping wad not an issue. Only detail is we were booked on a half floor were the elevator did not fo directly so we had to go up one floor and then run up some stairs to get to our room.

The room space is OK, there is no wardrobe for hanging clothes, only a few hangers, and the mirror in the toilet is not very friendly to the short Asians (like me)
Because it is off-season, the whole town is super quiet and there are not many choices for eating. In addition, the owner of this hotel has several buildings in this town, don't go wrong
