The atmosphere was genuinely welcoming and relaxed and the location is great, but the hygiene is not really good for the bathroom, there is a weak water flow for the shower, and the hotel reception was in the bar, and the rooms were above the bar, making it a bit noisy at night. This hostel don't have any common areas; you either went out or stayed in the dorm. They didn't even provide shower gel or shampoo.
Wakeup Copenhagen - Carsten Niebuhrs Gade: After a nightmare stay at City Hotel Nebo (Istedgade 6, 1650 København V, Denmark) where I couldn't sleep and my skin was itching due to dirty conditions including hair in the sink and no hygiene products available, Wakeup Copenhagen was my salvation. Immaculate cleanliness, modern minimalist room on 8th floor with marvelous city view, comfortable bed where I finally slept after 48 hours of exhaustion, clean shower with good water pressure, good quality breakfast, very good reception lobby, perfect location near Dybbølsbro Station (500m) and easy access to Copenhagen Bus Terminal for my FlixBus, excellent value at €62-70. Rating: 9/10. Compared to City Hotel Nebo (-3/10), this was heaven. The contrast was shocking - from dirty and uncomfortable to clean, modern, and peaceful. This hotel saved my trip and gave me the rest I needed to enjoy my last day in Copenhagen. Absolutely recommended for solo travelers who value cleanliness! Thank you Trip.com and Wakeup Copenhagen! 🙏

Very good location which near Central Station (train) & Kobenhavn Metro Station. Besides, travellers can take bus 5C just outside the hotel to the airport. Quite a number of scenic spots are quite close to the hotel.
Cost value of the buffet breakfast is great which costs only DDK$69 when compared of the food bought from restaurant outside. Lots of activities are offered by the hotel which esp suit for the youngsters.

I stayed at Wakeup Copenhagen and found it to be a solid choice for a short city trip. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-organized, with a minimalist design that makes everything feel efficient and straightforward. The location is very convenient, especially for exploring central Copenhagen, with easy access to public transport and key attractions.
The room was compact, which is expected for this type of hotel, but it was well-designed and functional. The bed was comfortable, and everything was clean and in good condition. However, if you’re traveling with large luggage or prefer more space, the room might feel a bit tight.
Staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in/check-out was quick and smooth. The overall atmosphere is more practical than luxurious, but it delivers good value for money.
Overall, Wakeup Copenhagen is a great option if you’re looking for an affordable, clean, and well-located hotel without unnecessary extras.
Clean, unique indoor camping style, comfy bed with its own charging socket and light. Fresh bed linen, large lockers, plenty of toilets and showers with hot water. Large common/dining area, 24/7 reception next to bar area which also sells food, coffee etc. Lovely outdoor roof terrace. Near bus, Metro & train transport to all areas of the city and beyond - good links to Central Station and airport. My only criticism is that it doesn't have a kitchen for guests to cook their own food in - however, they do allow you to buy food from the plentiful nearby street food vendors & supermarkets and they do have power sockets in the common area if you have a travel kettle or similar. Would recommend this hostel and stay there again myself. Copenhagen is a beautiful city, very walkable, clean & interesting.

A different experience, we will definitely repeat it! 3 things to improve, the hallway light does not turn off at night which is uncomfortable because this light enters even inside the capsule, the sliding door of the capsule creaks, and it is uncomfortable for both us and other guests late at night to open and close the door and generate SUCH an annoying sound, finally the charging port did not work with 2 cell phones at the same time 🥹😅
The room is quite spacious with three beds, though the hotel feels a bit dated. A major issue, however, is the shower space in the bathroom; once you pull the shower curtain, it becomes so narrow that it is very easy to accidentally touch the scalding hot faucet. Aside from that, everything else was perfectly fine.
About 15min walk from copenhagen central station, room had a kettle which was good! the shower area was right beside the toilet door so the floor will still get wet despite the shower curtain but can be easily solve with a floor towel

Highly recommend for solo or backpackers traveler's like me, its very near in main train station, city center of Copenhagen, I very loved the amenities you can relax and enjoy while you are waiting for for your check in time, don't miss to stay this hotel when you travelling in Copenhagen.
The hostel is lively and composed of multiple room types of your choices. It has a bar and shared kitchen area, where you can do groceries in the nearby supermarket and cook since dine-out expenses are quite high in copenhagen! The place was lively and had lots of guests - if you love networking and meeting new people, I’d recommend this hostel! The place is located in norrebro, close to metro stations (15 minutes walk) and surrounded by lots of cute cafes and restaurants! (I didn’t take photos of the hostel, so I included photos of nearby areas and restaurant instead!)

GGuest UserThe room was excellent, and the front desk staff were great. The room was very clean, and the security was also very strict. The location is good too, very close to the subway station, making it convenient to get to the city center by subway.
FfzeeGood location near Copenhagen central station and city centre. I stayed in commodore, a compact room with private bathroom. The breakfast was a good deal with various choices of breads, pastries, cereals, yogurt, juices, scrambled eggs, potato, etc

DduguguirenCouldn't check in early, but the common areas were super functional, vibrant, and relaxing – really on par with Clink in Amsterdam. While waiting on the 3rd floor, I looked through the floor-to-ceiling windows and saw a full rainbow panorama right in front of me, even spotting people walking on top of it clearly.
However, paying an extra 50 DKK for bed linen was ridiculous, especially since it wasn't mentioned during booking! That evening, I asked the front desk if there was hot water, and they said yes, but it would cost 15 DKK per cup. Seriously! For a hostel, not having a communal kitchen or a fridge to store food, and not even providing a kettle, is just unacceptable. I can't consider these facilities to be adequate.

SSermsiri SI had a great stay here. The place looks exactly like the photos - modern, clean, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, proactive, and very helpful. I was especially impressed by the cleanliness of the shared areas, bathrooms, kitchen, and sleeping hub.
I was initially worried about using shared bathrooms, but the bathrooms were very clean, and other guests were considerate in keeping them tidy after use. If you do not bring slippers, they are also available from the vending machine, which is convenient.
The sleeping hub was higher and more spacious than expected, warm and comfortable, with power outlets and USB-C ports on both sides of the bed. Wi-Fi was strong, and I was able to use the call booth for a virtual meeting. The wristband system for opening doors and making purchases inside the property was also very convenient. I also enjoyed using the shared sauna, especially after coming in from the cold.
The location is excellent, close to a bus stop with easy access to Copenhagen Central Station and Tivoli. There are supermarkets, international restaurants, and a laundromat nearby. Overall, I highly recommend CityHub Copenhagen for a clean, comfortable, convenient, and well-designed stay.

AAnonymous UserAbsolutely, unequivocally fantastic! This place comes highly recommended for anyone on their first solo trip. I arrived super late, around 2 or 3 AM, and while it's a bit of a walk from the metro station, the streets were incredibly quiet, clean, and safe even in the middle of the night. No strange characters or homeless people around (I seriously love Denmark!). The hostel was brightly lit, and there was a front desk attendant, but I opted for self-check-in and headed upstairs. To my surprise, I got a whole room to myself! The view from the window overlooked a beautiful lake. As my first time staying in a hostel alone, this left a really great impression! (Tip: make sure your padlock is wide enough; mine was too small to fit).
