"This stay was a pleasant surprise! The hotel is only a 10-15 minute drive from the airport. It's located in a village, which makes the location a bit off the beaten path, but that's perfectly fine as they offer airport shuttle service. We arrived at Changshui Airport at 2 AM on our first day. After collecting our luggage, we contacted the hotel for pickup. Even though it was raining heavily that night, the hotel was fantastic and was already waiting for us in the parking lot. Since we had to catch a high-speed train to Dali the next day, the hotel even dropped us off at the nearby subway station. When we returned to Kunming on our last day, we chose to stay at this hotel again. The staff here are incredibly enthusiastic; they recommended local breakfast spots and hot pot restaurants, all of which were delicious and very affordable. Because it was pouring rain that day, the hotel even went out of its way to drive us to the restaurant for dinner. The hotel is a good distance from the airport, so it wasn't as noisy at night as I expected; if you don't listen carefully, you can barely hear the planes landing. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers transiting through Kunming or those who want to be close to the airport without the noise. On a side note, dining in the village where the hotel is located is super convenient. There are restaurants within a 100-meter walk from the hotel, and the food suited our out-of-town tastes perfectly. I've included the name of the hot pot restaurant we went to; it was genuinely affordable, tasty, and the portions were generous. If I have the chance, I would definitely choose to stay here again. The only downside is that there's no place to hang clothes or towels in the room, only in the bathroom. I hope the hotel can add some racks or hooks for guests to hang their belongings."

"This charming homestay is tucked away on a quiet side street, just a quick 2-minute walk from the main Lianian Street. My friends and I loved the beautiful courtyard and traditional architecture — it really captured the local character of Jianshui.
We only stayed one night, right after the Golden Week holidays, and were pleasantly surprised that the staff could arrange spacious rooms for us on the same second floor (I’d recommend choosing the second floor over the first). The staff were friendly and very responsive to our questions and requests.
One thing to note: because it’s designed in a traditional courtyard style, you can hear other guests talking if you leave your windows open — but that’s part of the authentic atmosphere!"

"This hotel has very new facilities, and the location is quite accurate. It's not far from Nanhu Park. The rooms are stylishly decorated and come with a Xiaodu speaker. The rooms are a bit small, especially the bathroom, where the sink is located outside, separating the toilet and shower. The layout is acceptable, but there's a downspout behind the toilet, so larger people's knees will hit the glass door when sitting on it. The hotel owner was very friendly and helped with parking. The hotel has its own parking garage, which is a bit cramped. There are both an elevator and stairs. Overall, it's a good value. There are also many restaurants nearby."

"The owner was incredibly hospitable; seeing I had two kids, he immediately upgraded us to a family room. This garden hotel truly lives up to its name, surrounded by flowers and gardens all designed by the owner himself. The room was clean, tidy, and fully smart, easily comparable to a mid-to-high-end hotel. The best part? The price was so reasonable that I'd feel bad not giving a good review. If they stepped up their promotions, this place would be fully booked every single day!"

When I arrived, I noticed all the room doors on my floor were open, airing out each room, so there were no unpleasant odors when I entered. The airport transfer service was also punctual and went smoothly. There are convenience stores and snack shops nearby, which is very convenient. If you have some time, you can take a walk near the hotel; there's an old railway track that's great for photos."

"It's a very good house and the landlord has a good attitude. The view from the two windows is beautiful, and the night view is even better.
There is a washing machine for drying clothes.
Comes with disposable toilet seat and face towel, so considerate.
It's just that the elevator is a bit slow and the public areas are not cleaned very well. There are many cigarette butts, I don’t know if there is a smoker in the household or something else."

"Hotel location is quite good. Not afraid of getting lost. You can see this landmark high-rise building wherever you go. The surrounding environment is very good. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Gaozhuang Xishuangjing and Starlight Night Market. There is a food street and tropical fruit shop downstairs. It is convenient to go anywhere. The room is very warm. The supporting facilities are complete. . Floor-to-ceiling windows can see the invincible river view. The windows are very soundproof. The service is also very thoughtful. This Banna accommodation experience is very good. I will choose to stay here next time."

The owner is a very, very thoughtful man from Northeast China. Seeing that I was a young woman and worried I wouldn't be able to carry my luggage, he offered to help me carry it upstairs. He's available 24/7 by phone. The location is excellent; it's just a short walk to a taxi stand and very close to the Starlight Night Market, only a few turns away. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area. I mentioned I'm a light sleeper, and he kindly arranged a very quiet room for me on the far side – truly a peaceful oasis. I also rented their electric scooter, and the owner charged it for me every night, so I didn't have to worry about it at all. It was fully charged when I woke up, making it incredibly convenient to get around. Traveling with such kindness made me feel so warm and cared for. Thank you, Uncle! This experience has further enhanced my positive impression of people from Northern China.

This time in this hotel we got the room on the first floor and this room was quite awful. Toilet is stinky and has problems with flushing, the window outside passing all the sounds from the street and it's annoying. Other rooms aren't so bad, but on the first floor better never choose.

This stay is the best. The owner is a great human, from greeting us to taking care of anything you need to keep providing us with plenty of drinking water, all the recommendations you need he has got it all, even with the language barrier, he tried his best to communicate which really counts as efforts and how a place makes you feel.
The room we stayed in had a great view of Cangshan Mountain, the balcony is just a cherry on top.
You can get a full 360° view from the rooftop with amazing sunrise views.
The location is very convenient. You can walk to all the good stops or take an electric vehicle from the stay itself as they have it available if you need it.
There’s washing machine on the rooftop incase you need to do the laundry.
Overall we had a really comfortable time here, we will definitely come back here.
10/10 recommended.

The room is spacious, with meticulous attention to cleanliness throughout, including corners and the bathroom. The bedding is fluffy and comfortable, and the double-glazed windows provide excellent sound insulation, completely blocking out noise from the hallway. The front desk staff were patient and meticulous, proactively informing us about nearby attractions and local eateries. Any items we requested were promptly delivered by room service. Parking is convenient, the toiletries are high-quality, and the breakfast offers a rich and fresh variety. It's suitable for both business and leisure travelers. I genuinely recommend it, and I'll definitely choose this hotel first when I return to the area.

My friend highly recommended this place, saying the area is fantastic and super convenient, and the shuttle service was a huge plus. The shuttle service to/from the South High-Speed Rail Station was excellent. Overall, the service was truly impeccable, and there are plenty of great dining options nearby. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.

We stayed in Yubeng during a week when access to the village was closed, and we were the only guests at the hotel. It’s located near the trailhead to Ice Lake and not too far from Lower Yubeng and the Sacred Waterfall (the return hike is steep, but anyone coming to this place should be prepared for long and demanding walks!). There was no room service during our stay (like trash collection), but the hosts were friendly, and the food at the restaurant was very tasty and fairly priced — especially considering the logistical challenges of stocking the kitchen. The room is simple but comfortable. The towels are disposable, which is a bit strange at first, but you get used to it (they actually dry you well). The view from the hotel balcony is unbelievable — definitely worth paying extra for a room with a view. We would happily stay there again.

The hotel is newly renovated, the room is very comfortable, there is a snack street downstairs, it is convenient, the hotel service is very good, and it is also very close to the high-speed rail. The owner helped us with our luggage both ways, and it's really easy to find places to eat nearby. Plus, there are lots of flowers, a rocking chair, and a sun umbrella right outside the entrance – perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun.
