The table and chair is a bit low and will not pose an issue if you are someone who like the japanese style of sitting. Overall good stay for me and will be back again for sure.

The host was exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond to assist us in finding the hotel. He even arranged an early check-in, which was a lovely touch. We were really impressed by the hotel's hospitality. On top of that, they offered affordable e-bike rentals, making it a breeze to explore the area. We truly had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay!

Fortunately, the host, Michael, went above and beyond to help us find alternative transportation at a cheaper rate, which we really appreciated. Overall, this hotel is a good choice for its location and amenities, but be prepared for language barriers and a lack of scenic views from some rooms.

This is a high price ratio and high quality stay. This is my 3rd night here and I strongly recommend to everyone on this particular establishment.

The room was very nice, warm and clean. Great location. Good shower, good toilet, good heating wich was very welcome. Nice view. The bed was a little hard for our opinion, but we got it solved by using the thick blankets underneath the sheets. So we slept like a baby! The food was delicious!

Inside the ancient town. Very peaceful and quiet. The location was remarkable. 5 minutes from the North Gate. Easy access for Didi rides and near the bus pick-up point to go to TLG/ Shangri-la. Near to the giant water wheel, about 10 minutes. Helpful staffs. They helped me to carry multiple bags to the hotel. Some were more than 20kgs. Heated bed. Shower was fine, good water pressure. Nothing to fault. Had a pleasant stay. I stayed out past 12am daily during my stay and it was very safe for me as a solo female traveller to walk back from the ancient town to my hotel. Cons: None. Many stairs and cobbled pathways but it was not a problem at all as my bags were handled by the staff. Perfect for a short stay.

We arrived at Kunming airport quite late, and the next day we needed to travel by train to Lijiang. We chose this place because it is close to Kunming train station. We got a room on the 37th or 38th floor, I forgot it, but it was very high. The view of the city was beautiful, the room was spacious, and the price was affordable. However, there was quite a bit of cigarette smell, which was a bit much cause we had a young child with us. Overall, it was good. The room was clean, and it was easy to travel.

Close to metro exit B north railway Some restaurant are on the way to metro. Clean bed , basic needs are available. Very spacious room. Easy check in , check out.

The room is decorated in a white and bright style, and the space is well arranged. The electronic devices in the room have voice control, which makes it easy to turn on and off the lights and control the air conditioner. The room is relatively quiet, and the bed is very comfortable, so sleep is guaranteed. I like the fact that I can watch TV with a projector while taking a bath in the bathtub. I will consider staying here next time I come to Kunming.

Need to walk to train station or main road to take Didi (~5min). The room is a little small. The air conditioning/heater will make noise when it's fan setting is on, for light sleepers it can be irritating, it's like white noise for those who are ok. Only one washer and one dryer, need to wait. Shower drainage also keeps dripping for 5-10mins after using. Will stay again despite everything as they are small inconveniences. Price and location most important.

Less than 5 min walk to zhongyi market, slightly far from the water wheel but in a walking distance; however that make the hotel area is more peaceful. We rented 2 rooms 3 night and the cleaner cleaned our room everyday. There’s a very tiny washing machine if you would like to wash some urgent clothes but need to bring your own soap. The host is really nice and helpful, she picked us up from in front of the Xiangzi convenience store (you can use this point for didi), it’s around 2-3 min walk from hotel.

The room is nice and clean. The receptionist helped us to bring the luggage to level 4. The owner is super nice, friendly and helpful. She helped us to book the Lijiang show with seats near the stage and discount prices and book the bus ticket from Shangrila to Yading. She is responsive and give us helpful advice about where to buy the rose cake too. Highly recommend this hotel!

A great hostel. The boss is very friendly and works very hard to keep the place clean and help guests with any issues they might have. The atmosphere is great and welcoming, I met many other traveller's there, and some evenings there is a shared barbecue!

The guest house location is excellent, easy to go to Lijiang Ancient City, great view on the roof top to view Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The owner helped us to buy the ropeway ticket to go up to Jade Dragon, without the need to go through tour agent. His suggestion helped us to tour around Lijiang more efficiently. We decided to extend another night and canceled the booking in Baisha town. We truly enjoyed our stay here.

The place incarnates the essence of youth hostel: for the youth, by the youth. It offers various kinds of entertainment, including a free to use pool table, a well furnished bar, cheap meals and, on the only night I stayed there, live music. Moreover, you are provided with a towel and a complimentary bottle of water, which is uncommon in youth hostels. The guys working there were helpful and nice. On the down side, it is next to Shuhe old town, but over 4 km out of the main attractions of Lijiang, meaning some time consuming back and forth by bus or taxi if you don't have your own means transportation. My time there was short, but good.

A small homestay located in the heart of the old town. There are enough shops and restaurants nearby. It's about a 10 minute walk to both the north gate and the south gate. Keep in mind if you have heavy luggage you would need to drag it around the cobblestone streets because no vehicle can reach the place. The service of the owner alone makes me rate this place 5/5 stars already. It didn't matter how many questions I asked, everytime he helped me out. If you are a solo traveller or don't speak any word of Mandarin then this is a great place to stay, the owner will make sure you don't get lost. While the service was perfect and couldn't be any better there are some negative things worth mentioning. First of all, the soundproofing is really bad. The room's door is full of holes and gaps so you can hear everything that is happening outside. Moreover, you better make sure you don't have any upstairs neighbours because you can hear everything what they do as well: moving around on the wooden floor, flushing the toilet, opening the tap, taking a shower. Second, talking about showers, the shower in the room takes quite some time to heat up (similar to most hotels in China) but the more annoying part is that its impossible to get the right temperature for the shower: its either way too hot or cold. Lastly, the curtains were full of disgusting stains and didn't block out all the light so I recommend just getting them replaced. All in all, this place has some positives and some negatives. Decide for yourself if you want to stay here. In my opinion, despite the negatives, I would definitely stay here again and recommend you to do the same.

I was very satisfied with this inn and extended my stay. The location of the inn is very convenient. Lijiang Bus Station is just across the road and the ancient town can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. The inn is very clean, well-equipped, well-decorated and has good service.

Cute family owned hotel, super great price, location is right next to Dali Ancient Town and transport to Lijiang bus stop is 3 min away. Standout was the absolute amazing service I received, especially from Joy. She warmly welcomed me and spoke a little bit of English, which helped a lot. I had ideas about what I wanted to do, and she immediately knew what how to go about it with the time I had, where were the best places, how to get there, which places were the best spots etc. she even then went an extra mile and helped me organise activities in Lijiang that would have not been possible with my limited Chinese, and kept in contact with me even after I left the hotel Truly made the experience one to remember, thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness, definitely recommend everyone to come for a stay!

We booked a family room (at 4th floor) and stayed for 2 nights. Note that there’s no lift in the hotel. The staff was very helpful as he helped carry our luggages to our room. The room was spacious and clean and has all the necessities.The hotel location is quite close to the old town, walking distance only. We arrived at hotel quite early and the staff let us checked in earlier than the check-in time. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here!

As soon as you enter, you will see the cobblestone path. It was a pleasant surprise at the first stop of our trip. When we arrived, a seven-year-old girl helped us check in. It was great! The house was very big and clean. Everything inside was disposable and I felt safe. The next day, when we went to watch the sunrise, we had a free electric bike with us. I didn't know how to use it, so I called the store lady at around four o'clock. The lady also told me how to use it very gently. The aunt who cleaned up was also very nice. In general, I was very satisfied and would stay here again next time (key point: it is very convenient for friends who can ride electric bikes)✨✨✨✨✨

This little hidden hostel is a gem. Since I walked in, I felt welcome and very at home. There is a community feeling, with dinners, patio conversations and kareoke up on the rooftop with a splendid view of the mountains. Dali is always active and you can access the city vibe within 5 minutes but here it is wuiet and peaceful. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the laundry is a big plus for a traveler. I felt very welcome in this hotel, everyone was so nice, and even translated everything in my language. My room was beautiful, cosy, with a lot of light and a wonderful mattress. I had a kettle for my morning tea and everything necessary in the bathroom, including a hairdryer. It's 3 minutes walking from the train station, and also from the bus stations where you can take bus 8 for old Dali and other buses for the other side of gorgeous Erhai lake. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. I recommend it 100%＞

Excellent location just next to the Dali railway station. It took us literally 2 minutes to get to the train station entrance to catch our train to Chongqing. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean, very spacious and nice. The decor was so pleasant to the eye. It was done in a minimalist style with a touch of black and white pop-art. Very tastefully done. The bathroom is large, clean and the large shower had a well functioning hot water system. There’s a nice selection of Chinese-style food options for breakfast. There are eateries and convenient shops all around the hotel. I’ll definitely stay in this hotel again if I’m ever in Dali and need to be close to the Dali railway station.

There is a shuttle bus service from the hostel to the fire station near Dali ancient city from 09:00- 24:00. There is a self laundry on the rooftop. The view from rooftop also 🤌🏻 ✨ They also offer small group tour package with affordable price. Cute cats and dogs. Minor: the location is a bit far from the old city and a bit isolated. If you want a comfortable stay, book a private room instead. Some of the guest scattered their make up and even cut their hair on the share sink and didn’t even clean it. For me, your personal item should be in your personal locker. So that other guests comfortable to use it after. Maybe the receptionist should emphasise it during checkin.
