"I originally didn't want to write this glowing review, fearing it would become too popular and I wouldn't be able to book a stay again. But after a few days, I felt I'd be doing myself a disservice not to. The hostel is right next to the bustling Liuxing Street in the city center. Step outside, and you're amidst vibrant streets and alleys where you can find baked buns,拌面 (banmian – mixed noodles), and hand-pulled rice dishes just a few steps away. It's also convenient for getting to the bus station and the airport. Yet, once you turn into the alley, it becomes wonderfully quiet. The old locust tree at the entrance is adorned with colorful wishing tags – red, yellow, blue – gently swaying in the breeze, as if whispering everyday stories for passersby. The front desk staff are incredibly responsive; messages are answered almost instantly. They patiently help you with directions and arranging shared rides, always enthusiastic and thoughtful without being intrusive – a comfortable balance. The rooms and beds are clean and tidy, changed for every guest, washed and sun-dried. The entire hostel is non-smoking, so the air is so fresh it makes you want to take a deep breath. Staying here feels secure, and you wake up refreshed. The facilities are complete, and the self-service kitchen is convenient and quick, with pots, pans, utensils, and seasonings available. You can store leftover fruit in the fridge and eat it the next day, which is both money-saving and comfortable. The cafe offers freshly ground, professionally made coffee that's delicious and not expensive; one cup can last you an entire afternoon. The reading room is elegant and quiet, with well-worn books that sometimes have pencil notes left by previous readers – you can easily lose track of time there. There's a strong international vibe, with backpackers from various countries chatting in the common area, a mix of English, French, and Spanish. You can join in or just smile and listen, and no one will find it strange. In the end, I did write this – a five-star review, truly recommended. I hope it becomes popular, yet I also fear it becoming too popular. But good things should be known by more people. Next time I come to Yining, I'll definitely stay here again."

"Great location! There are many food options downstairs, and there's a good rice noodle shop right in front. Transportation is super convenient, less than a 10-minute drive to the airport. Despite that, it's pretty quiet. I stayed in room 8021 and it wasn't noisy at all. We stayed for two consecutive nights without having to change rooms."

"Staying in a genuine Xinjiang home, in a beautiful old house, every detail and arrangement was exquisite, like a museum. The rooftop was especially stunning; I didn't want to leave. In autumn, you could spend the whole day there just daydreaming.
The location is right on the food street of Khan Bazaar. Although it's a bit far from the southeast gate, the landlady will help with luggage at the gate.
I stayed for two days. On the third day, because the place was full, I needed to change guesthouses. I asked another guesthouse, Tumanlishe, to help me with my luggage, but they refused. The landlady immediately agreed and brought it to me. It turned out she had walked there herself with her luggage. I was so grateful.
On the second morning, there was a sudden water outage, which was a little panicked, but I managed to order a large water tank at 4 pm and that solved the problem! Great! They even provided breakfast for two days."

The decor is a gentle, natural wood color scheme, creating a wonderful atmosphere.
The room space is very well utilized; watching movies on the giant screen projector from bed was a joy.
The bathroom is a big plus! A large bathtub with a overhead shower, and the toiletries have a light woody scent, which is very nice. The hairdryer is also great. This was the most unexpected feature; it seems every room has a bathtub. Taking a bath is especially comfortable. Tea bags and drinking water are readily available, and the sofa is very relaxing.
The bedding is clean and tidy, and overall the facilities are excellent, making it a great choice for both short and long stays.
Aside from a minor hiccup, the facilities are truly outstanding."

They also have standard rooms and family rooms. I'd love to bring my kids here someday; they'd surely love the second floor.
Facilities: The footrest for the top bunk was wider than in other places; my size 38 foot could nearly fit its entire length on it."

myfocus060606Boss Liu is such a nice person, warm-hearted, quick-tempered, and attentive. He doesn't know what to ask, and he entertains me warmly. It's really touching. The B&B looks old from the outside, but the decoration inside is very modern, clean and hygienic. It is very good for traveling, especially in scenic spots. The transportation location is convenient for transfers, and it is close to the Kanas River. It is also very convenient to go for a walk along the riverside trail. There are restaurants, supermarkets and other supporting facilities in the surrounding villages. When we went out, Boss Liu was afraid that we would be tired from taking care of the children, so he drove us to see us. Before leaving, he gave us water and helped us carry our luggage. Must give a five-star rating!

Guest UserThe location is excellent, very close to Kashgar Old City (West District), making it easy to walk over for photos day or night. The room was clean and tidy. There are many fruit stands and snack shops near the guesthouse. Overall, the accommodation offers great value for money. Most notably, the owner is very warm and thoughtful, helping guests with parking and providing information about attractions and transportation, which made us feel right at home. In short, we were very satisfied and give it a five-star rating! If we come to Kashgar again, we will definitely choose this hotel.

Guest UserThe room was quite spacious and comfortable for sleeping at night. However, the check-in and check-out process could be more efficient. Even though the price isn't high, they charged a 200 deposit before check-in, and there was a list of compensation prices for damaged items directly on the desk. This really gave a bad impression. I quickly glanced at it and saw that even a dirty carpet in the public hallway would cost money to replace 😑. I'm not sure if the hotel owner has encountered malicious guests before, but I think they could increase the room rate to filter for more considerate guests. Just a suggestion.

First and foremost, this hotel accepts foreigners. The hotel is quite ok but not great. I booked a no-window non-smoking room (don’t do it, go for room with window) because I thought there is more chance people still smoke in non-smoking rooms with windows.
The first room they gave me, put the key card on and electricity didn’t work. Waited for them to check with no result so I was relocated to another room. It’s non-smoking but I can clearly smell the smoke. Took 2 days for the smoke smell to go away which is a pity.
The room is small but enough for a solo like me. Each floor they built 4 lines of rooms, the 2 middle lines stay wall-to-wall to each other and are the ‘no-window’ rooms. I would definitely recommend you to choose the room with window, because it means you don’t share a lot of ‘walls’ to other room and have a window to open at least for circulation if room is smelly or if room is too hot. In my case, my room smells smoke, and the room heater system only allows 34-37 degree celsius which is crazy! Very hot if turned on so I had to turn it off the whole time I stay at the hotel. Even though it is winter time, the whole hotel is already on heater. Unable to adjust room temperature is annoying because it means no air circulation. There is a blowing machine (similar to a fan) in the room but it is not efficient quickly enough. The room feels extremely suffocating. I did really wish for a window. Also because the no-window rooms share 3 walls with other rooms (not counting the upper floor), it’s more bad-luck chances for weird noise. In my case, I had to endure one whole freaking night with 2 loud Uyghur couples who cannot hold themselves back from banging the freak out and making all kinds of terrible terrible noise. Seems like no soundproof for these walls.

Guest UserWe have been traveling for the past 3 weeks through Xinjiang. This resort is, without a doubt, the best accommodation we have stayed in, even exceeding other 4 or 5 diamonds rated establishments. What a gem! Right from the start, our experience with the hotel has been outstanding, beginning with the prompt and patient communication with the hotel staff prior to our arrival, who provided clear and helpful information on how to get there, contacts of drivers that could take us from the Altay train station to the village, and where we could apply for the border control permit. While on route, the hotel staff thoughtfully checked in on us to ensure that we have boarded the transport and are ok. Upon arrival at the village entrance, we were greeted by one of lovely sisters who ran the resort. She was like a ray of warm sunshine, greeting us with a big smile, instantly making us feel safe and welcomed. She was a lovely host who took good care of us during our stay. Our host kindly upgraded our room to a gorgeous hexagon detached starry sky room. It’s a spacious, tastefully furnished standalone log cabin that has a large queen bed and a double bed, a mahjong table, a massage chair, projector TV, voice control assistant, climate control and everything else one needs to have a luxurious stay. It even has a roof window that opens up for stars viewing at night! The log cabin sits in the midst of a lovely garden compound, with swings, hammocks, and a view of the distant a Kazakhstan mountain, inviting anyone to relax with a good book and a cup of tea. The resident cats, dogs and horses were adorable. The resort is located in the beautiful, peaceful and rustic village of Baihaba. We had a most restful and memorable stay and will definitely return to stay with the resort.

Good reviews! The location of the hotel is amazing. You can see the magnificent Pamir Plateau scenery of Tashkurgan County as soon as you go out. In the morning, when you open the window, the sun shines on the top of the continuous snow-capped mountains. The picture is so beautiful that it is suffocating. Here, you can enjoy the unique natural scenery of Tashkurgan County while lying in bed. This experience is great!

Guest UserStayed in a dorm room then moved to a private once one became available. Both rooms were clean and comfortable, I especially liked the softness of the beds and the strength of the AC, as it was summer when we stayed. The hosts were always very helpful and their cat is adorable. The public spaces were also cozy and had amazing views of the city below. It was easy to bring our bicycles up the elevator and store them in the hostel.
