Snack and coffee lovers love this hotel! The staff are very polite and the cleaning is meticulous. They even called to confirm if I forgot to bring a bottle of water. For a night at this price, getting such five-star service is a steal! The lounge also has a water dispenser and microwave, as well as coin-operated laundry machines. The check-in and check-out processes were very smooth.

The hotel is newly renovated, very spacious room with views and little balcony!
The front desk ladies are super nice and helpful, and very friendly (Sorry we forgot to get your names)!
We stayed on a weekday night, where the hotel/hostel is not fully booked. The stay was quiet at night which is what we are looking for. Not sure how things will be over the weekend or at the peak season when the place is fully booked.
The hotel is also very close to one of the scuba diving/snorkeling tour business.
It’s a bit furtheri by the harbor, but with a rental scooter, it’s easily accessible.
The only one thing for us personally, the check out time 11 pm is a bit on the earlier end (we understand some of other hotel/hostel on the island do too) If the check out can be at 12 pm, it will be perfect!
Will want to come back if we are back to the island again!

Can't complain about this Hotel, from the price to the staff, room and service, my personnel give 10++++, you won't be disappointed if you stay here. I spent 5 nights and felt great. I have visited the Pingtung City many times. First time found this place and found this hotel opened 2 years ago. Fancy hotel with new generation ideal, electrical car charger pot, free parking, also free bicycle. Either way come alone, with friends or with family. You will like this place.

Definitely would revisit!! The view was breathtaking, the room was nice and clean, and the staffs (owner?) are soooo kind. There were some insects at night (understandable, due to the location) but the staffs help cleaned it out right away. Breakfast was also unexpectedly good. Can’t wait to go back🩵🩵
They’ve got Thai translator as well.

Good location, if there is a transportation will be more convenient; take self-service check-in, simple operation, if you like staff service may not be suitable; Unfortunately, the room was not soundproofed. I was awakened many times by the noise of other rooms late at night. Although the first floor was renovated at the time, it did not affect much during the day. The room was simple and comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and I had the opportunity to choose this homestay again.

The room was absolutely gorgeous! The only minor inconvenience was parking. Because it's located next to an elementary school, parking spots only become readily available late at night, typically after 11 PM. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it 👍👍 – definitely worth a stay!

JjikookStayed their for 6days and 5nights in a all female bedroom! I love how big their basements are where you can eat and have work peacefully. Also its not that far from ximending, its like 3 mins walk!! And there’s a station nearby too connected to ximending station. If i ever to go back in taiwan, I would definitely choose this hotel again. Safe for solo female travelers ❤️ I already recommended this to my friends. Love from PH 🇵🇭

CClymene LimThoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sun Palm B&B. Have written this review in English, but we communicated with them in Chinese. We stayed at this B&B during the tourism off-peak season (March).
Service - Amazing. They were very responsive on Line, and quick to reply. They were also helpful with our requests/questions (e.g. fetching service to and fro airport, car rental service, traffic road conditions in Penghu) and were polite. They also gave some advice on what can or cannot be done (e.g. we wanted to cycle around Penghu, but they advised us saying Penghu was too big to travel on a bicycle). The driver was always punctual when picking us up, and when sending us to the airport. In fact, he was already there, with the car ready, minutes before we were supposed to leave for the airport - we didn't even need to remind them. The lady boss was very friendly - when we first arrived, she asked if we were new to Penghu (it was our first time), and she introduced where to explore in Penghu, and what to eat. She also told us that if we wanted to do water activities, we can approach them, and they can make a check with the centres to see if they are open since it was off-peak season for tourist activities. We also had some extra request regarding the check out timing, and she helped us with it too. Before we arrived, they also tested the car we wanted to rent, and upon finding out that it wasn't working as well, they provided us with another car instead - this is certainly good service. They also cleaned up the room upon request, and re-stocked the fridge with drinks.
Food - The breakfast was amazing and fresh (see photos). On the first day we had bread + doughstick + egg with spring onion all in one package. It was delicious. On the second day, we had vermicelli and seafood (e.g. squid, prawns). The seafood was really fresh, and the broth was simple and tasty. Each dish was accompanied by fresh fruits / pastry + drink, which was refreshing.
Room - We got the Starry Honeymoon Room. It was very spacious, the room was clean, the amenities were in good condition, and the overall design was aesthetically pleasing. The heart pillow on the bed was a cute addition, and the round bed was big enough for 2 of us. Above the bed there was a window covered with a retractable screen - you can actually look into the sky while lying on the bed, really interesting.
Location - While this B&B is further away from the main city, we didn't feel that affected as they provided airport transfer services. Also, we felt that it being away from the hustle and bustle from the city was actually advantageous, as the B&B's location had a more relaxed, quiet, holiday vibes, which was what we were looking for. There is a 7-11 around 10 minutes from the B&B, so if you need food etc in the middle of the night, you can get it from there. We rented a car, so travelling to other areas wasn't much of an issue.
Overall, I will recommend this B&B to anyone looking to tour Penghu! Am glad to have chosen this B&B for our first ever trip to Penghu :)

KKelly JoyceIt was so good. The staff are very friendly ❤️the room i had was good and clean. Very convenient, just a small walk to ximen station, also the night market. There’s a near 7/11 where I passed by and bought things. There’s a laundry upstairs and many socket in the room. i dont have a nice photo but the room is small, when u enter, the bed i have is upstairs like when youre in a ship's cabin and there's a tv at you feet. i also have a window which is nice.
All is great and a value for money 👍🏻
Ps. 1 thing I suggest is to add a bidet on the toilet.

NNUR HAZIRAHI booked the female shared room. I have been to many capsule hotels, bunk beds and so on. But this might be my worst experience. 12 beds in one room, feels crowded and has some smell (you can bring luggage and shoes in the room). There's also a double bed inside the room, so there are more than 12 people in the small room. Lights out 12am so I couldn't sleep in early because there would be noise from people talking loud, showering, and using a hairdryer. All happened in that room. The only thing that I like is you can check in late (self check in), 400m to Taipei Bus Station, 50m FamilyMart. There's also a common area and kitchen, fridge, and coffee maker. Just don't choose the dorm room, you're gonna have a great experience staying here.

AAnonymous UserBooked for 2 persons but upgraded to triple room, not relevant to us. However, O Fun is always our choice when visiting Taipei. Location is convenient. We stayed 2 nights here and in between travelling to South. Both rooms/nights also have no issue at all. Provided luggage storage is also plus point to us.

AAudrey Lee GoddessI didn't notice it was in a small alley, so I looked for it. I brought a large suitcase, but there was no elevator... I had to climb the stairs. But when I entered the room, it was exactly like the pictures taken by the store, clean and tidy. I was given extra water for staying for two consecutive days, which was very thoughtful. There is also a table inside where you can charge your phone by yourself, which is super convenient. I won’t post the photos because they are the same, but I did take a photo of the charging table, which is great.

The hotel is located right next to Exit Y13 of Taipei Main Station.
Exiting the MRT, you'll step less than 50 steps to this hotel, amazing!

GGuest UserIt's bearable, the windowless rooms are clean enough, the communal area is all underground so you can't really spend any time there. No cups/forks, nothing but there's a microwave and kettle, very dirty. The receptionists are horrible, no Hello/Welcome/Thank you, zero interaction, zero attention, they really make you feel like you shouldn't be there. There were kids yelling and running around all 2 nights I was there, people shouting etc, the receptionists wouldn't say anything and the rooms have zero sound insulation. The metal steps to go up to the bunk beds are super dangerous,I slept on the little couch underneath as it shows in my picture, wouldn't stay again even though it's very central and easy to find

TTongueOverall is a good stay for me, especially for the location! It is very near from the Kaohsiung metro station. The service is good for this price but the only concern is cockroach! If you are okay with the little of unhygienic, you can definitely stay here. I enjoyed breakfast for two days while this is not included in the reservation I have checked.
