The hotel room is compact but just right for two people. The location is excellent—surrounded by plenty of eateries and within walking distance to Nanjing Pedestrian Street, making it convenient for shopping and dining. A great choice for travelers who prioritize location and affordability

We had a great stay at this hotel in Shanghai. The location is very convenient — just a short walk from 大世界 metro station and not far from 豫园, which made exploring the city easy. We really appreciated being able to check in early after a long flight, so we could freshen up before heading out. The room wasn’t extravagant, but it was comfortable and had everything we needed. Overall, a good experience and a solid choice for a short stay in the city.

We enjoyed our stay their room was very spacious and comfortable and had full kitchen amenities however it had no kitchen supplies so if you’d like to cook something other than microwave, you must bring your own plate, silverware, etc. It had a beautiful view of the city it had all of the basic needs such as a washing machine shower Two nice size beds that were very comfortable with great bedding and pillows. The staff was incredibly helpful and supportive they also exchanged money for us. There is a market downstairs and it is a nice quiet peaceful building. Overall, we really enjoyed it enough to cancel our future booking at a different place and come back and stay at the same place. They also provided us with luggage storage and had great plugs for international travelers. Blackout curtains for peaceful and quiet sleep tons of closet space and a little dining area as well as shoe rack. The views from the room were spectacular.

We had a really good experience with Homeinn Neo. The best thing is definetly the location, it's just 3 minutes walking to the metro line 1, and 15 minutes to Ninjang road and people's park. We used the hellobikes quite often.
The room was nicely furnished and clean and there was a water refill station and powerbank rentals downstairs. We had a room without window, which was a little bit weird in the morning but ok in the evening. Noise level was quiet.
10/10 recommend, I would definetly stay here again.

When I first arrived in Shanghai from the metro station, I was a bit confused about where the hotel was—even though I was already right in front of it—because the logo was small, so I didn’t notice it. I arrived around 12 PM but was already able to check in, and my room was upgraded to a bigger one. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, and everything worked well. The staff were also friendly; one staff member even came to my room to help me set up my international power adapter. The location is surrounded by many restaurants and is close to People's Square metro station, Nanjing East Pedestrian Street, Madame Tussauds Museum, and more. Thank you for the nice hospitality.

Owner was there to greet us at the front where he led us to the office and helped us check in.
We had a long layover in Shanghai and they also let us store our luggage with them before our flight at night even after checking out.
Place looks a tiny bit smaller than the photos and the top loft bed occupies the entire second floor so there is no space to move around up there. Should be no problem for younger travelers but adults/elderly with mobility limitations should consider that. The place was also very easy to find. Great stay.

I’d say this place is one of the best affordable short-term serviced apartments in Shanghai. Highly recommended for travelers and business trips.
The location is super convenient — you’ve got easy access to the metro station, supermarkets, McDonald’s, Starbucks, and tons of restaurants. The room is also equipped with a washing and drying machine, a microwave, and a big TV screen that supports smartphone mirroring, giving you total freedom.
The service is excellent too — Ms. Yunyun has been incredibly kind and always helped me whenever I had questions. Giving her 5stars for her outstanding attitude and skills.
I’ll definitely book again in the future.

Stayed for 6 nights. Good location. Just a stone to 磁浮站 (8 mins from the airport), line 2, 16 & 18 mrt lines. Just next to a shopping mall which you can find great and value food. Most importantly, the hotel rate is good. We saved $60+ dollars per night as compared to hotels within 外滩。The only lacking is that there is no refrigerator. Strongly recommend for those who are not particular on breakfast, which we opt out.

Location was great. The entrance was hard to find it first. Volume in tv was really low on the TV unless you switched it to the VIP/free service. The other platform for some reason had a low volume. Ayi came to help . Shower drain didn’t drain and water level rose . I had to stop it before the overflow . The “window” room is really a wall with a window installed . Nothing to see . As expected.

Very Good
GGuest UserSolo female traveller. Self-declaration of residence during your visit via a link the staff will share via WeChat. (For me, the submission under the Chinese UI only worked.) Free one-time clean-up of the room, no water provided so have to buy on your own. New towels and emptying of dustbins can be requested. Location is a 7-10 minute walk to Shanghai Natural History Museum Station and Nanjing West Road Station; 20 minute journey to Shanghai Railway Station via MRT if you are taking trips out of the city. On the way back from Nanjing West Station, there is a 7-Eleven at the station and a Family Mart nearby the station. There is also a mini-mart near the main entrance of the accommodation residential area. There are two lifts, but usually only one is operating, so I had to wait for the lift for sometime if I left the unit at 8.30-9am.
If you are sensitive to dust, request for a deep clean of the room. There is quite a fair bit of dust under the bed. I visited the tail-end of spring where there were a few mozzies that came by, but there is an insect-repellent diffuser in the room.
Washing machine is excellent, you may use the laundry detergent provided. Used it a couple of times, clothes are fine.
Projector works well with MangoTV free subscription. It was nice to use it. You may also verify with staff on the address of the accommodation in Chinese, which you can use for Taobao and Dianping (if no local phone number) / *******. For ride hails via DiDi, pick up point is at the main entrance, the same direction to head to if you are going to Shanghai Natural History Museum Station. You’ll see a petrol kiosk outside the main entrance.

Outstanding
CcoaltrollMore than worth the price especially considering the location. In terms of rooms what you see is what you get. I didn't ask for many services but the staff seemed extremely nice and respectful, I don't doubt they'd do the best they can. The only concern is thin walls so it's easy to hear others and for others to hear you but considering the price and location I'm surprised that's the only complaint. Surprising thing to say but the toilets are also amazing, nice view, seat heating, bidet, often cleaned and replenished toilet paper, etc etc. Very nice I'll definitely come here next time I'm in Shanghai.

AAnastasia nutritionistThe hotel is a great value for money. Our room was clean. We received all the necessary amenities in the room. Breakfast is Chinese style, but has plenty of options to choose from. Generally the food was good and included in the room rate. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, they fixed every issue effectively and fast enough. The location just right at the central railway station and also you can walk to the city center within 30 minutes. Very good location. I recommend this property to anyone who wants to travel around with ease. Thank you for the great stay and we will comeback soon 😊
PPichayaSOverall stay is good. Room is newly renovated, has everything including refill bottle of water. The hotel is closed by a lot of local restaurants and minimart that open late at night and closed by yummy butterfly biscuit shop (long line queue up everyday since shop opened). Around 10 mins walk from metro station and centre area which is quite convenience. The only fact that i dont like is that they're trying to get us to upgrade to bigger room (pay more) where our room is perfectly fine for 2 people which waste our time during checkin for like 20-30mins as they took us to look at the room then came back down again; unnesccesary asked i think since i booked as per online booking description. The rest dont have any issue.

DDavid TiahStayed here twice to go to Shanghai Disneyland. This hotel's location is perfect for those wanting to take a metro to Disneyland in the morning and back at night. You take the Pusan Road station for that. The hotel room itself was nice and comfy. I would say it is great for the price. Just note that the way the bathroom was built can seem a little weird and can be a bit small, especially for a big guy like me. Other then that, I would say, highly recommended.
AAnonymous UserThe room is sunny and the service is great!
There is a separate washing machine in the room, which is very convenient.
Mineral water, paper towels, large towels, and slippers are provided by yourself, and there are plenty of items!
The takeaway bag garbage is placed at the door of the room, and someone will help to collect it.
We stayed for more than half a month, and the cost performance is high.
I would like to rent it for a long time if I have the opportunity.
SSugarBThe overall experience is good. The layout of the hostel is good having rooms at the outer circle while bathrooms area is located in the center. Toilet bowls and shower area are separated for males and females but the wash basins are mixed. You will need to pay for towel if you need one. Staff is not quite capable of English but they are friendly and will try to help you. The hostel is just a 5-minute walk to Laoximen subway station.

Hhoangyen+ The service staff is friendly and will help me book the ticket. The bathroom is quite big, which is nice. It is close to the Confucian Temple.
- The room smells of smoke; there is no hook in the bathroom to hang clothes (it's a pity, otherwise there will be one in the bathroom), it is a little far from the subway station, and the sound insulation is not very good.
