Pro: 1.great location, lively 2..Comfortable stay 3. Large room for single occupancy 4. Staff didn't speak well English but tried their best to help. Staff helped me book museum ticket and taxi. Stayed 6 nights in total. 5. Cleanliness is good in general but it seems bathrooms have never been cleaned properly for a long time or staff don't know how to rub the bathroom floor and wall. Con: 1. The bathroom floors of single room on 4th and 6th floors (wet part) have the usual bathroom stains from germs that is very easy to clean with toilet cleaning detergent and a brush but it seemed staff didn't know how to clean. Very typical in China that the bathroom.isnt clean. The curtain also has stain from water. This can easily be clean by popping it into the laundry. 2. single room on floor 6th could hear noises from outside. First 4 nights on 4th floor, we'll slept, didn't hear guests forneighbour room. Another two nights on 6th floor, Heard guests from neighboring room, and trough the door, seemed the door has gaps. Will stay here again, hope the toilet will be cleaned better.

Qinghansu Hotel is right next to Dazhao Square. It has a great location. You can go to Dazhao, Saishang Old Street and Xilituzhao. Shopping and eating are very convenient, which is the most satisfactory point. Moreover, it was the Spring Festival holiday when I checked in. There were festivals on the square, which was full of the flavor of the New Year! The hotel was renovated in the past two years, and many smart devices were used to enhance the accommodation experience. In terms of hotel service, it will not be overly enthusiastic, but the requests will be responded to and resolved in a timely manner, which I like very much. The room we stayed in this time was very large and cost-effective. I didn't get tired of staying for five nights. If I come to Hohhot next time, I would still choose Qinghansu. A welcome sight in an unfamiliar place. Not too hard to find. One of only a handful of accomodations in this large, town ”under development” Though we had some communications challenges that was solved by thw first front desk reception lady using the weixin translation app. She kindly directed me to the best restaurant in town for lunch - by taxi, as there are few fanguan nearby. Convenient 6 minute walk to the train station through the underpass. A taxi can be arranged to go the single major local tourism site - Kehan (khan) Shan. It is only partly in operation, but the surroundings are inspiring Accessories in room were completely adequate and clean. I expected to be on second floor, but not. Some noise and cigarette smoke carried through the corridor, but this happens. There may be larger binguans in Holingol, this was fine for me. Excellent value for the price.

Nice staff, fast and efficient, good service. Although the hotel itself is kind of worn out and reeks of smoking in the room. Bedsheet and the toilet, bathroom stuff are pretty much old and worn out. Considering the price which is affordable, it is not that bad. Also the location is good, just crossing the road you can reach the main market of Erlian and the train station is within a km range.

Instead of arriving on the same day of the booking I came to the hotel in the morning next day. A call ensured that they'd prepared and kept my room with a smooth check-in. The stay, however, comes for a deposit of a whopping 200 RMB. Unfortunately I had to discover later on, that there was a massive turd of **** neatly placed on the bedsheets, leaving a brown ring of wet sauce around it. Upon reclamation, the service desk replaced the bedsheet without further explanation, and let me stay in the same room despite the obvious smell and potential emotional damage : ) The paper in the bathroom was wrinkled from wetness and had a yellowish tint to it, which where it might have come from I will leave to imagination.
