We have had an amazing experience, seriously we couldn't be happier. The staff (especially Niko) have been super helpful since the very first moment we got here, giving us the necessary information so we could plan our activities in the best way. Niko speaks English well, but if there is any misunderstanding he can help out with the live translation software. He has been very friendly and made everything he could to make our experience even better. The room is great, clean and bright - exactly as shown in the pictures. The bathroom was also the best bathroom we've been to throughout China. The location couldn't be better, as it's on a quiet street in a beautiful neighbourhood with no cars and plenty of restaurants, and super close to the cable car to Tianmen Mountain. When you come to Changsha, you must choose one near Wuyi Square! My friends and I selected a lot of stores on Blue Software, and finally chose this store with good reviews and no bad reviews for the time being, and the price for a family room is only 400 yuan! It's suitable for two people to live in! The first floor is still being renovated and the environment is a bit dirty. The front desk is on the fifth floor, just go up there. We arrived at the hotel around 12 o'clock and were able to check in. There was fruit in the room. The place and environment were larger and cleaner than expected. And it's really convenient to get in and out. We always walk directly when we go out. The hotel customer service staff is very good and answers all questions. If you ask her before where you want to go, she can give you direct answers. But in a tourist city like Changsha, it can really be said that it never sleeps. My friend and I stayed here when we were visiting the Zhangjiajie National Park. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the park's Eastern enterance which is super convienient. From the Eastern Entrance, you can catch the free bus to access Tianzi Shan, you can also take the Bailongshan Elevator that will take you to the most famous view points, including the First Bridge under Heaven and the Hallajuah Mountain. If you plan your routes well, it is possible to see all the different parts of the park by entering from the Eastern Enterance. The hotel itself is clean and has a friendly a**osphere -- we both felt very safe and welcome. There is a breakfast place just 20m down the street and plenty of options of places to eat during the evening, so you don't need to worry about being able to find food. There is also a small night market in the evenings where you can buy fruit and street food. The hotel can store your luggage for you so you don't need to worry about carrying it when you go hiking. I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking about using the Zhangjiajie Eastern enterance.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The location is in between the east gate of Senlin Park and the main center of the city so it's convenient to get to both. In adddition the host is extremely friendly and helpful, even if you don't speak any Mandarin. She helped me arrange tickets to the park as well as to a nearby performance. The rooms are nice and everything is kept clean. There's also free breakfast in the morning which is very convenient. This place is a great deal for the cost.

The only good things I can say about this place are that it's cheap and close (＜10 minutes' walk) to the Tianmenshan cable car station. The place is old and not very well-taken care of; the furnishings look dubious; the bathroom is always wet; the reception service is lukewarm at best; the ”luggage storage” is just an unguarded place under the stairs next to a pile of cardboard. There's definitely better hostels in the vicinity.

The mattress is particularly comfortable: soft and hard, with a soft sleeping feel and strong support. It feels very relaxed when you lie on it, and you don't feel any pressure on your back. After returning from the trip, I took a hot bath (the hot water in the hotel was large and came quickly), and lying on the bed, I felt that all the fatigue in my body was instantly gone. Absolutely wonderful hotel. The staff are extremely friendly. The rooms are fantastic. It’s right in the middle of Wuyi Square and the pricing of the rooms are extremely affordable. I’m definitely going to stay here again on my next visit to Changsha

The location of the hotel is very good. It is opposite Huangxing Road and next to the International Finance Corporation. It is very convenient to go out and play. It is just like leaving home when you go downstairs. The room decoration is very beautiful. I slept very well at night and slept for more than ten hours. The location of the hotel is absolutely amazing. A bunch of tea colors can be seen to the naked eye downstairs. Opposite the road is the bus new village powder shop and super Wenheyou. Downstairs is Pozi Street and Taiping Old Street. 500 meters is Wuyi Square IFC Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street. Going to the river is Du Fujiang Pavilion. It is convenient to take a taxi to Yuelu Mountain, Orange Island, Bokaifu Temple, and take the subway. The hotel room is clean, large in size, stylish in style, comfortable in bedding, and intimately equipped with earplugs and disposable toilet pads. I was worried that it would be noisy on the seventh floor, but in fact, it was very quiet on the road after 22 o'clock. It can be said that the price is very high in this prime location. Then he would give you full details on what transport to take to reach his place complete with a video recording of how to walk there from the tourism office. We really appreciate this thoughtfulness and thoroughness. It was such a sharp contrast to our other hosts during our 2-week sojourn in Hunan! When we asked them for directions to go to their homestays all they replied was ‘take a taxi’! On top of this Mr Liao and his capable smiling assistant Ms Chang went all out to ensure that we were comfortable. He plied us with Chinese tea, gave us tips on where to go, what to see and eat so that we could make the best use of our time at his lovely hotel. No wonder we decided to stay another night there (upon returning from Fanjingshan) after experiencing such great hospitality! The location of his homestay is superb, right in the ancient town itself but away from the noise. It was easy to reach and in a convenient location. It was also a short walk from the town where all the cheap and delicious food are. The bedrooms and bathrooms were in pristine condition. Clean sheets, comfortable beds and furnished with all the facilities that a tourist would require. Looking at the way he named his rooms with lines of poetry we sensed that Mr Liao is a well educated man and it shows in the way he interacts with his guests and how he runs his hotel. Kudos to you Mr Liao and Ms Chang. You both make excellent ambassadors for lovely Fenghuanggucheng!

The newly opened B&B has complete facilities, spacious rooms, clean and hygienic, and meets the standard of a big hotel. It is the most comfortable B&B in several places during this trip. The owner is very enthusiastic and picks you up at the high-speed rail station in person. Not far from the riverside, in a small alley. Clean, quiet, with a nice bathroom - although there's no shelf or hanger or anything to put your clothes and shower cream anywhere. There's an ”intelligent” toilet in the bathroom, but the lid opens up every time you get close, so you cannot put anything on it either :). Parking is a huge problem in Fenghuang, so try to arrange it in advance - the owner can help you, call them before you arrive.
