This homestay really surprised me! The location is excellent, downstairs is Wanda, eating, drinking and having fun in one stop, the key is that the whole street downstairs is full of food stalls, from barbecue to sugar water shop to fried powder stall, the nightingale atmosphere is directly full, the fireworks are full, and the food is super satisfying.
More pleasantly, you can walk to the beach, and it is very pleasant to walk with the sea breeze in the evening. It is also very convenient to play in the water. The price is also very cheap, this location can get this price, the price is really nothing to say.
The only small episode is that there are occasional traffic jams around, especially on weekends and evenings. It is recommended that friends who drive by themselves plan parking or staggered travel in advance. But the flaws are not concealed, the overall experience of living is very good, the room is clean and tidy, and the landlord is also enthusiastic. I will choose this one next time, I really recommend it!

I was unexpectedly stranded at Shenzhen North (Shenzhenbei) during the busy holiday season and urgently needed a place to stay. After comparing several listings on Trip.com, this hostel stood out based on its reviews, and it fully lived up to my expectations.
The photos are accurate and reflect the property exactly as it is. The host prepared the bed sheets and pillowcases right in front of me, which immediately reassured me about the cleanliness. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Cleanliness is one of my top priorities when choosing accommodation because I value my health, and I felt completely comfortable staying here. I saw no pests or anything unhygienic, so if you’re concerned about that, you can rest easy.
The host speaks basic English and was very welcoming. Since I had just traveled from Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen North, he even kindly offered to show me around the area. There are plenty of food options nearby, I enjoyed Lanzhou noodles and stinky tofu just steps from the building.
For clarification, the hostel is located inside an apartment building and operates in a dorm-style setup. Shoes are removed at the entrance, and guest slippers are provided. There is a comfortable common area with a sofa and dining table, free drinking water, and complimentary toiletries including a toothbrush and disposable towel, which was especially helpful since I had forgotten to pack one. The bathroom is modern and equipped with a Western-style sit-down toilet.
Each bed has its own privacy curtain and personal light, which I appreciated. There are also power outlets conveniently located at each bed. Wi-Fi worked smoothly without any issues, and free laundry is available, which is a great bonus for travelers.
There are designated quiet hours, so you can sleep comfortably. During my stay, it was peaceful and no one snored. The host even asked whether I snore, which shows he is considerate of all guests.
The other guests were polite and respectful. I was the only foreigner staying there, and the rest were Chinese travelers who were likely in the same situation, unable to secure train tickets that night. The property is non-smoking, which I also appreciated.
The only minor downside is for taller guests. I am 183 cm (6 ft), and I had to curl up slightly since the bed length appears to be around 180 cm. It was manageable, but something to keep in mind if you’re tall.
The location is very convenient. It’s next to the train station, and you can easily take the subway if you have luggage. It only cost me 2 RMB to ride, so there’s really no need to take a taxi. In the morning, I bought pork steamed buns and soy milk from a nearby vendor, he was friendly, and the food was great.
For $4, this was outstanding value. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, and convenient place to stay near Shenzhen North, this is an excellent option. Hopefully this review helps anyone considering staying in the area.

Guest UserThe place is clean, front desk made their best to communicate with us. My kids really enjoy staying there. They were so sad while leaving. The place is very spacious for a big family of 5. The view was everything. The canton tower was just at my bedroom balcony. The night view was amazing. The security was a plus. They offer a variety of food for breakfast and really cheap per person. You can find your way around easily. I will live there again and again. I really recommend that place.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Almost Perfect Stay!
📍 Location: Superb! Super convenient for exploring the city 🚇
🏢 Room: Stayed on the 36th floor (highest level) – the view was absolutely stunning! 🌃 Room looks modern and very clean.
🧺 Amenities: Loved the mini fridge, washing machine AND dryer in-room 🧼👕 – so practical for longer stays!
🪳 One downside: Unfortunately spotted a cockroach during my stay, which was disappointing. But it was taken care of by the cleaner. Otherwise, this would easily be a 10/10!
Overall: Great value, amazing view & facilities – just hope the hygiene issue gets addressed. Would still recommend with a small caution. ✨

I stayed at Man Dian Qing Ju for two consecutive nights, and it's perfect for short stays. For its affordable price, it offers comprehensive amenities that far surpass other hotels in the same area and price range. The surrounding transportation network is excellent, making both subway and taxi travel very convenient, so getting to any part of Guangzhou takes very little time. Downstairs, there are numerous late-night eateries in the commercial district, making it easy to grab food or supplies at night.
The hotel's common areas are cleaned daily, the hallways are tidy and quiet, and the management is well-regulated, so there's no disturbance from noise. The guest rooms are spacious with a well-organized layout, and the lighting is soft and layered, making for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Appliances like the air conditioning and water heater operate stably without any issues. Hygiene standards are strict, with thorough deep cleaning daily, and the bathroom water pressure is excellent, ensuring a great showering experience. The soundproofing in the rooms is outstanding, blocking out external noise, allowing for a very peaceful night's sleep. The self-service laundry room is clean and efficient, meeting all my travel cleaning needs.
The staff provides meticulous service; item deliveries and maintenance requests are handled quickly, and their attitude is gentle and polite. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but there's a convenience store and dim sum restaurants just a few steps away, so all meals can be easily sorted without going far.
Overall, the facilities are brand new, the service is personalized, and the price is fair and reasonable with no hidden fees. It offers incredible value for money for business travelers on longer stays. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Tianhe.

Everything was good. It was very quiet in the hostel itself. I stayed for 1 day to see what was interesting in the city center. There wasn't a towel, but they responded quickly to messages. The hostel is located on the 11th floor. There's a window, so the air is fresh. The toilet is just a hole in the ground though, no Western-style toilets.

This hotel was absolutely perfect. Every day they refreshed your towels and amenities. The TV and lights had some really cool functions like different settings, and there was even a robot that could deliver water to your room!!
The location is in this small alleyway connected to a really nice street, it’s really easy to get a didi from the road and there’s many cool shops and restaurants right outside the hotel. Some people may find the little alleyway a little off putting but I thought it was really cool and I loved the view from the higher floors.
The service was great, we just used Google translate to chat to the staff about anything we needed, checking in and out was super quick.
One thing is that there is no breakfast, we probably should’ve known that already, but when we arrived we saw some sort of buffet style area connected to the hotel and just assumed perhaps there. Would be breakfast, as it turns out that buffet is owned by a different organisation. Nevertheless you can easily order food (and packages) to your room, and the robot can deliver you instant noodles😂.
Me and my friends had a great time here, I’d say the only thing that was slightly off putting was that the ventilation system in the bathroom smelt a little bit odd after being on for a long time, but otherwise we have absolutely nothing to complain about!
The location is extremely close to Teemall and Beijing Road, and also a short walk from the canal if you wish to stroll along the waterway. The staff and amenities are all great, and the rooms are sanitised and genuinely really great quality for the price we paid!
We would definitely stay here again if given the chance!
