It was my second stay here.. Overall was excellent, bed was comfy, staff were so polite and helpful. I was checking in quite late and I wasn’t feeling well, the staff even help to order some medicine from online store.. Especially STAFF NO.11.. I left my jacket on the taxi, and I just realised it after my checked out, she is still helping me to contact with the taxi driver and follow up till today. Grateful and blessed to stay here. Last but not least, the coffee shop at the main entrance was good, nice croissant and coffee! Highly recommended for any future guests :)
Haiyou Hotel (Beijing Jiulongshan Subway Station)
4.8/5733 Reviews
Jinsong and Panjiayuan Area
Get off the train and take the subway. Enter the hotel and take a nice hot bath. Rest for an hour on the clean bed. Then check out and do business refreshed. Even if the room is small and the bathroom is small, so what? The front desk lady is very friendly. Check in and check out are done in seconds. Large suitcases can be stored in the lobby, and toiletries can be picked up at the front desk. There are disposable towels in the room. The bedding and kettle are very clean.

We have stayed at this hotel several times now. We keep going back because it is so great. The hotel is clean, quiet and convenient. The staff are amazing. Thank you for another great stay!
Taishangdeng Hotel (Beijing Daxing Huangyi Road Public Security University Branch)
4.3/5271 Reviews
Daxing Airpot
i would like to thank the hotel staff a lot for being accomodating and helpful to our group as there were miscommunications as we didn't know chinese and relied on translation apps that weren't accurate for the most part. i acknowledge that they did extra things that came with having guests like us who couldn't understand chinese (ex. how to work the washing machine for example, or letting us borrow their wechat to deliver food the first night because we were hungry and there was no place to eat that was open on that day-CNY) and they helped as in every step as much as they can, which i really appreciated. the hotel cleans the rooms every 3rd day too but they always give new towels, and water bottles and slippers every day. which i think are very kind of them. the rooms are VERY spacy too which is great. the beds were comfortable as well. you can also request toothbrushes if you need more. there;s a lso a very good and restaurant next to the hotel that is open very late if anyone was wondering (esp since the location is a bit far from others). the washing machine was very confusing though because we would wait for the whole time it would say it would take to finish, but when we would check after that stated time, it would add like another hour. and it would do that every time so we had to physically ask to override the machine everytime we would need our clothes. only downside was there was miscommunication with communicating through trip.com and the hotel because i would message trip for help and they would say that the hotel said one thing but then it wouldn't exactly be correct. (like my family wanted to get the coat rack fixed because it was broken and it was maybe 3 days before it was fixed--the problem was trip told us it was already fixed in the 2nd day? so it was a bit confusing when we arrived. the hotel staff were very kind though and fixed it on the 3rd when we specifically went up to the front desk for help). i also think trip.com should maybe not put that breakfast is available as the hotel breakfast is a bit debatable and not a full meal. my father need FULL meals for his medication so one factor for our booking this hotel was because there was breakfast available. but the hotel only provides a few fruits, boiled eggs, and plain toast. so we often got breakfast outside still. overall, the hotel itself and hotel staff was very good and comfortable to stay with! thank you!
The Pagoda Light Hotel

Xidan and Financial Street Area
This snazzy hostel could be in Australia or New Zealand but for the predominantly Chinese guests. A cafe along those lines is upstairs, Beijing-brewed IPA beer available. Quite a big thing here. Cafe downstairs by reception too. No need to use the cafe downstairs, which has very bland American music playing. But it’s good for waiting in the cool for a DiDi.  The staff on the front desk are good as they have a little English. But the boss, who’s there too a lot of the time, sleeveless t-shirt-wearing Johnson is a hero. If you don’t have WeChat or are just having trouble getting through sites to book tickets a day in advance as is needed for Tiananmen Square and other sites and museums, he will book them for you (commission-free) in a few moments and send you the QR code where necessary (often your passport number is your ticket though). Johnson speaks English well. The nearest metro station is a little far because Fuchengmen station was closed. The nearest is Ping'anli station, which is a 20-minute walk. But DiDi discount express is super-cheap, so no matter. Good dorm rooms, 2 bunks, each bed with a curtain. When I was there in early September for 5 days, the room never had all beds taken. A staff card in a slot on the wall powers the two charging sockets above each bed. (If the sockets don’t work, a customer may have put their card there…it happens.) There are 4 showers (4 for men, I assume 4 for women). When I used it, there was never anyone else in there. The seat-toilet was always free too, the Chinese guests possibly all using the contactless toilet.
Beijing Longyuan Xiaozhu Homestay (Mutianyu Great Wall)
4.8/534 Reviews
Huairou Scenic Area
I originally planned to take the tourist bus back to the city, but my child didn’t want to go down the mountain. Plus, walking on the Great Wall felt very comfortable at the time. I wanted to wait for the sunset to watch the sunset, so I looked for temporary accommodation. However, my child looked through the hotel and found a hotel with a small airplane overhead light. The room must be this one. The room is very mini but very practical. It feels like a small bedroom in your own home. The house is very clean. The landlord was very down-to-earth and very attentive. We didn’t go down the mountain until after dark. He knew we were going home so he waited for us at the roadside in advance. He also sent us to the bus stop the next morning (the transportation was very convenient and we could get on to the city quickly). of rental). The landlord's brother and sister-in-law can all speak fluent English. They also introduced scenic spots guide to several Indian guests and sent them to the scenic spots. The service was very good.

For the price of this hotel I wasn’t expecting much, but what I was offered was exceptional. Decent, clean rooms and beddings
Beijing Zhuyuan Holiday Villa

Beijing Wtown
I have been to Shuizhen before, and this time I chose this B&B. I came on a Saturday and Sunday, so there were not many people. The room was very clean and tidy, and there was a small refrigerator in the room. The front desk lady also upgraded my room for free and recommended the time and method of playing in Shuizhen. It was great service! So considerate, I will stay here again next time!
Asleep Hotel

Universal Beijing Resort and Sorrounding
Spacious, clean and quiet; more an AirBnB than a hotel. Oretty far away from the city, but practically next to the Universal Studio park and a short walk away from a subway station. The area is very labyrinthic, but the host will guide you (tip: you need someone to speak mandarin, both for the hotel booking and for China in general) Pretty good
Shuangjing Classic Warm House

Guomao Area
The staff is super nice and the room feels like a real home because you have a living room and a kitchen and a comfortable western style bathroom. I really loved my stay here. I could see myself living in that apartment. Its one of the best most comfortable places i have stayed in Beijing. Apple community is a really good location with a lot of good restaurants nearby. Its a very artistic area. The staff has a friendy bird named Bai Bai.
