2-Star Hotels in Beijing, China

This place was nice and cosy. It was the perfect size for our family of 5 (2 adults + 3 children 8,4,2) huge bathroom upstairs and a washing machine downstairs in the other washroom. Was clean and tidy upon arrival :) We chose this place to be within the 5th ring for our private transfer to the Great Wall. It has a little convenient store just outside the building. It is also within walking distance to shops/restaurants and a plaza too. Communication with host was all done through WeChat and the instructions given were easy to follow. Even when I was unsure of something, I was able to contact the host easily and they were able to answer my questions and queries in a timely manner. Only con I had was the smell of smoke throughout the building but that did not effect our stay too much! Also couldn’t quite understand how to use the tv/projector, but didn’t bother us too much either as we were out most of the day, and was just wanting it in the evenings to unwind :)

6 person stayed at this DONGSI hotel and very convenient to wangfujing street and the reception manager Mr GU was very helpful and kind toward the hotel guests and we will surely come back to stay at this hotel whenever Visting Beijing

The hostel was great! It is located about a ten min walk from the hostel. There were many restaurants and businesses that was under reconstruction, but was still open. The rooms were spacious with huge lockers to put your things in. There are showers and toilets in the room. There is laundry on the fourth floor. The staff were really nice and helpful with any inquiries you may have

We really liked the hotel! Nice girl at the reception, spoke English and was very nice to us) the location is great - the metro station is nearby, there are also a lot of cafes) cleaning every day! The room itself was like in the photo) we recommend it!

Very good hostel for its price. Good neighborhood. Close to metro station. There are lots of shops and cafes around. The room was clean, good comfortable bed. The bathroom was a bit scruffy. The staff is helpful. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

A decent option for its convenient location and reasonable facilities. 1. Location: The hotel is located on Yangmeizhu Old Street, which has plenty of souvenir shops and nice cafes. ”Voyage Coffee,” a café nearby, is worth visiting for its charming courtyard. The hotel is also close to Qianmen Pedestrian Street, a popular spot for shopping and dining. 2. Room: The rooms are standard, clean, and equipped with basic amenities, including a smart toilet. 3. Staff: The staff is generally friendly. The housekeeping lady was particularly cheerful and helpful. Some staff members can communicate in basic English One unusual policy to note is that before check-in, you are required to open your luggage so staff can perform a quick scan with a handheld security device. I haven’t encountered this rule in other cities like Shanghai or Jiangnan, but if it’s a special regulation for Beijing, it’s understandable.

Small budget hotel. Location is a walk from the nearest mrt (8min or so for brisk walking). Nothing much to see in the area. Need to travel out for all activities. But clean room generally. Hotel was doing renovations during my stay so it was a bit messy and noisy. Sound proofing isn't good. but no complain otherwise. Cute pets in the common area

The hotel has a superior location, convenient transportation, clean and tidy rooms, and a very good service attitude. The front desk Fangfang's service is very enthusiastic and always greets us with a smile. A very considerate receptionist also helped us adjust the room when we checked in, with a large window, and a small gift. We lived very happily! Thank you!
