2-Star Hotels in Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil

I liked the organization, cleaning and service of the staff, all of them are congratulations. Whenever I come for Rio de Janeiro to serve, I like to host Ibis, here I feel like I was in my home, thank you for the service provided.

Good afternoon. I'm visiting the hotel at almost one year, and we never have passed so many disorders without a solution. Small problems, which accumulated, turned big things. *works in the apartment in front and around, was reported at the reception, they answered me that it was only that day, and extended, all the stay. * room packing, not made in any of the 3 days. * tumbled vase, no solution * swimming pool, shocking. for lighting * breakfast without butter (???) *Demagnetized card of the room, of all guests, making everyone there to make a new card, which generates more a loss of time. The noise persisted every day, the whole day, and it would be right to leave the walk vague, or the surrounding environments isolated.

This is right in the middle of Lapa party district and for $30 for a Friday night during Carnival, I appreciate that it is cheap, however, when you see the pictures provided, you will realise that some things are just completely unacceptable. When I checked into my room which the cleaners were just leaving I found a good sized room with fridge, twin beds, a wardrobe and TV and a good sized bathroom. However, the sink and co. had not be cleaned and contained male fluid stains en-masse. Both looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months and the floor was also filthy. The bed sheet contained a hand sewn rip too (I mean... seriously?). The shower was very good though I know for sure that everything was beyond filthy. The pillows stank. With such an attitude to hoarding old or broken appliances and linen etc. you can be sure that everything is unsanitary. Aside from that stated above all the staff were really nice, but....that doesn't make up for what I saw.

Excelente atendimento, estrutura ótima e principalmente o lugar transmite uma paz incrível! Eu e minhas amigas chegamos de madrugada e eles deram um suporte ótimo para a gente e segurança também. Piscina grande, espaço para jogos, inúmeros quartos, netflix, youtube, café da manhã recheado de delícias e funcionários sempre educados e dispostos a te ajudarem no que for preciso! Obrigada por essa experiência incrível, com toda certeza eu e minhas amigas voltaremos.

Relación precio - calidad y ubicación es perfecta! Las habitaciones del anexo limpias y el desayuno acorde al precio. Los dormitorios para 2 personas son diminutos, no hay espacio para una maleta para tener en consideración y optar por una pequeña diferencia a una para 3 personas que es el doble. Personal de recepción y desayuno amable. Los colchones no son muy buenos ni las sábanas pero al menos son limpias y blancas al igual que las toallas de baño. El aseo se puede pedir día por medio y este sería su punto débil que debieran mejorar. El resto acorde al precio anda muy bien.

The hotel is good, but check-in is separate from the hotel. Ctrip navigates to the hotel. If you can't find the check-in area without asking the people next door, it is recommended to place a sign at the door.

Um lugar pra se sentir em casa! Fui com minha família e filha pequena e pretendemos voltar sempre que der! Localização fantástica, café da manhã excelente, equipe maravilhosa e atenciosa, estacionamento, segurança!

The staff is so helpful and really care about their guests. They help you with everything. Especially ISABELLA was so nice to me, helped me scan some stuff. I presuaded it a lot! I think, it‘s a good place to base yourself in Rio. It‘s close to the beach and I never felt unsafe to walk around this area alone as a woman. There‘s enough space in kitchen area to meet new people. The rooms are a little narrow, but it‘s okay. Found everytime a free showe or bathroom and it‘s clean. The kitchen is not super equipped, but you have fridges and it‘s enough. I opted for a bed in the 10-bed female dorm at Carneval. Cost me $90 with an official airport taxi but for this uninitiated female solo traveller I just wanted to take the easiest route for arriving late on a Saturday night. Very much a young backpackers place, you will party and you will drink here if you don't go to the 'English' bar across the road which is where I did go and had a grand time chatting to the bar staff who were a bit older than my fellow bedmates (who were all lovely, by the way). It's as clean as it can be for a quick turnaround place, free drinks between 7-8pm and the staff were just lovely. Helpful and friendly. Short walk from the beach. I felt safe wandering at night here and the Metro is a block or so away. Only tiny grumble is that the photos on tripadvisor are not of the Ipanema site; it's a lot, lot smaller!

Un lugar horrible, las habitaciones son espantosas, no tienen buena ventilación , no hay ventiladores, si aire acondicionado que es encendido por la noche y apagado a las 8 de la mañana. el estado de las habitaciones es malisimo, los techos manchados de humedad, las paredes cercanas al aire acondicionado están descascaradas y con ampollas . los colchones son viejos , hundidos en el medio, las camas son cuchetas(arriba y abajo) como en todos los hostels. en cuanto a la limpieza de la habitación es mala, los pisos siempre estan sucios, entiendo también que eso tiene que ver con las personas que alli las habitan. el desayuno, recomiendo no comprarlo, te dan: un vaso chiquito de jugo de esos que se preparan ( los de polvo tipo Tang);ni siquiera una naranja exprimida, tres medios pan lactal, es decir, un pan lactal y medio, con un cuadradito de mermelada, uno de miel y otro de manteca. te dan cafe, pero si queres tomar café con leche tenes que pedir la leche porque no la tenes a tu disposicion. yo me quise ir en la mañana del otro día en que llegue, pero no pude hacerlo porque ya me habian cobrado con tarjeta y ellos no hacen reembolso, te dan un número de telefono para que llames que según ellos es ” la central” ( del horror), ahi te dan otro numero al cual llamar. en mi caso, me quite la pulsera que te ponen, según ellos es para identificarte... sin palabras... un dia volví por la noche y un hombre de ” seguridad” no me dejaba entrar porque no la tenia, le mostre la tarjeta de entrada a la habitación y corroboro mis datos y me permitio entrar. pasados unos dias mas, y siendo aproximadamente las 21 horas, él mismo hombre no me permite entrar a la habitación pporque según él yo no tenia la pulsera, intento entrar igual y me agarra fuerte del brazo , para lo cual yo me suelto y ahi empezo otra historia: comenzamos a discutir con un tal Gabriel que estaba a cargo de la recepción, quien intento que este violento quiera agredirme, en ese momento vuelvo a pedir que se me devuelva mi dinero porque lo que ellos ofrecen no es lo publicitado. a lo cual se niegan diciendo que ese punto esta escrito en las condiciones que uno acepta cuando llega a ese lugar. les dije que iría a la delegación policial a lo cual ellos respondieron que yo podía hacer lo que quisiera, pensaban que era solo una amenaza, para su sorpresa , cuando llegue con la policía todos lo que no me respondían cuando yo les hablaba, aparecieron con caras de yo no fui , no sabemos lo que paso, negando todo lo sucedido, para lo cual yo desmentía sus mentiras con los policías ahí presentes, para lo cual ” muy prestos” llamaron a una supuesta gerente quien ante la situación se comprometieron que devolverían mi dinero , sobre los días que no estuve en ese horrendo lugar. en mi argumento con la policía yo les explicaba que en el lugar había ratas y cucarachas, y que el lugar no es lo que muestran en las fotos, POR FAVOR NO VAYAN AHI, LES VAN A ARRUINAR LAS VACACIONES.

Boa Localização, próximo ao Aeroporto, para quem vai fazer escalas ou embarcar muito cedo, e uma excelente opção. Café da Manhã e bem legal, nada de muito luxo, mas é bem melhor que muitos outros lugares que já me hospedei. Atualmente, o Hotel é para prestadores de serviços na região, percebi isso pois vi vários hóspedes uniformizados e em grupos. Cama bem sofrível, de Motel com colchão que merece reformas Wi-Fi bem debilitado, para quem precisa utilizar, somente pela manhã quando todos já saíram para trabalhar na cidade. A recepcionista da parte da noite, não foi simpática e meio confusa devido a reserva rer sido oriunda do 123Milhas Resumindo, é funcional.

Pousada nova , cama confortável , banheiro com um chuveiro bom , quartos e a hospedagem bem limpos ,lençóis macios e muitíssimos limpos, Fica próximo à praia de geriba ! Café da manhã muito bom !! Vale super a pena e eu recomendo D+ Voltarei em breve com certeza !! Recepcionistas muitíssimos educados !!

There is something that should be known and that they don't say in any place where this accommodation is promoted: access and circulation by the hotel is very difficult. The rest is stairs and more stairs because it is located along a hill. You will tell me Buzios is so? Yes, of course! But there are lower and very well located accommodations with equal services. As for me, finding someone with a severe impediment to rise, they gave us the last room, which has no phone connected so you can't contact a conserjeria (120 stairs counting from the street, Room 61) Without possibility of change and withdrawing from any responsibility because ”the tourism agency should have said so”, we stayed there. Rectification: We were given a number of WhatsApp to communicate with us but read from the computer if they open it. On their own site they don't warn about this. In short, if they have any difficulty to move, kneel operation or similar, NOT GO. All good is clear from this same. And the reality is that that good has almost all the posates of the same level.

-The hotel is very nice, close to some beaches in búzios. -The room was clean, but saw some bugs, not sure it’s their fault though, as the place is surrounded with trees and grasses. -The pool wasn’t clean though, wasn’t appealing for me to swim in it. -Breakfast has a lot of varieties, and very well displayed and covered (again because of the insects). I like that it stays open until 7:00pm -On the check-out, they only asked me about what I had from the fridge, they didn’t check if what I said was true, which I found very trustworthy in term of hospitality. -It’s bad that the receptionist only speaks Portuguese, but it’s like this everywhere in Brasil, so it’s hard a bit for foreigners to communicate with them.

A pousada é muito bem localizada, perto das praias e da rua das pedras. O local é muito agradável, café da manhã é muito bom. A recepção super atenciosa! E as meninas do café da manhã também muito simpáticas e educadas. Gostei bastante dos poucos dias em que fiquei hospedada. Retornarei! Me sigam e confira os vídeos no meu instagram @vanessa.decora

Excellent accommodation in Buzios, - exceptional treatment for hosts Javier and Yanina - careful, service and educated staff - clean and well-functioning facilities - spectacular room, with a balcony and a view of the Ferradura Bay worth highlighting, as if it was a film - clean, wide swimming pool with relaxing space**** - open quartz with barbecue available - location, The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre and is located in the heart of the city centre. - breakfast, serve it on tables with view to the bay, it is not a buffet but you can repeat whatever you want, but it is so complete that you don't want to repeat it, it consists of 3 types of fruit, jam and cheese, bread, lactating bread, butter, Eggs, coffee and milk that reached to take 4 to 5 cups, natural juice, a shot of gelatine, a portion of budin and muffin (i sometimes asked you to make a cheese to me and they did it without problem). Some more details, we were in room 1, but so I saw almost all have a different size balcony and give to the bay. Price/quality I seemed very good, they gave me filtered or hot water every time I requested within the reception time, every day they offered to make the room and change towels, I also emphasise Javier's kindness to approach us a rain night to the center.

Location very well located , near all , very educated and performing staff , in addition to a delicious breakfast coffee and a lot of tranquility , clean rooms , perfect air conditioning , I took room 7 the only complaint and that the internet was not connected and the TV channels were simple if I had a cable TV would be perfect , but I would surely come back

A pousada é linda, super limpa e com um ótimo café da manhã. Queria avaliar principalmente o atendimento do funcionário Daniel, super solícito. Uma amiga minha machucou a perna durante a viagem, e ele fez de tudo para que nossa estadia fosse melhor ainda e não tivéssemos dificuldades na pousada, com certeza o melhor funcionário da pousada! Não tenho nenhum crítica a pousada. Eles tem serviço de quarto, deixavam tudo em ordem, tem ar condicionado, fica perto do centrinho de cabelo frio, uns 5min andando! Tudo maravilhoso, sem críticas!

A hospedagem é ótima para quem procura economia, realmente não só pelo valor, mas pela facilidade de tudo absolutamente tudo perto delegacia a frente, mercado a 2 min de caminhada, padaria a 4 e farmácia a 5 , ônibus então na rua ao lado tem para arraial e búzios, tive problema em achar Uber e foi super funcional, quartos são variados mas no geral são com cozinha e utensílios , não espere luxo na hospedagem somente o básico
