St Christopher's Inn Hostel at the Bauhaus

I picked this hostel for its location and reviews online. In general, I say that it is good. There are some small things that could be improved in terms of quality and overall building maintenance like updating bunk beds and sound proofing. As for service and amenities, I felt the staff communicated well and supplied sufficient offerings especially about what to do and where to go. I was happy to know that they do bike rentals at an affordable price and locker storage. Only suggestion I would have is to provide bikes that are more suitable for longer distances if you suggest riding up to the coast or visiting Netherlands. While the city cruisers bikes are suitable for strolling around on cobble stones inside of Bruges, they are not so nice for longer rides (at least for me) and can make for some heavy slow cumbersome riding. I enjoyed the cycling trip to the north and was amazed by the beauty, nature and farmland heading toward the coast but the bike really made it less comfortable. I kept aching for a simple single speed road bike the entire time 🫠. Just food for thought😌 Otherwise, I was pretty happy with my trip to Bruges. I came by train frim Liége and felt it was worth the trip. Thank you so much for your hard work and effort.

Super friendly and helpful staff, very clean hotel. At that price I got a clean room with working central heating, located on the second floor without an elevator. The room had a small desk without enough lighting needed to work. Lights located in the central part of the ceiling and next to bed. The bathroom had soap and bath gel/shampoo. Photos below were taken on the day of my departure.

Very nice hotel perfectly based between Oostende and Brugge. Located on a lake side, very calm position and cheaper than others. Well recommended but the shower tray sealant in the bathroom could have been changed or bleached as it was full of black mould all over. Pity as shower was good and quite wide. Room small but its an ibis budget and it is enough space for 2 people. Comfy bed too

This city is particularly beautiful. It is recommended to stay for at least three days. I stayed for two days and it felt a bit short. Love very much... Hope to go again if I have a chance. The hostel is so-so, but there is nothing special. The main thing in the hostel is luck. The quality of the roommates in the same room is very important. Some make noise in the middle of the night. Some keep kneading plastic products at six in the morning. The mental state and mood of the two days

The hotel is located near the river bank, there is a free shuttle bus stop in Bruges in front of the door, located near the city government and the famous Bruges clock tower, the surrounding environment is very quiet! Hotel picks self-service check-in, Breakfast included! The room is small, the thick mattress is very comfortable, but the small bathroom space is a disadvantage!

Lovely hotel, right in the centre and with excellent staff. Decor is dated but clean and functional. Staff were super helpful and the location perfect for exploring the city.

It was close to the station and the room was clean and nice😍 On the way, it was hard to find where the entrance was, but there was a map and they showed me the correct entrance. I'd like to use it again when I stay in Bruges!
