Great location, but the street outside is noisy, so remember to bring earplugs. The kitchen is decent, with a fridge, microwave, and various dishes/utensils (a bit small but functional). Don't forget to bring your own slippers, toiletries, toothpaste, and toothbrush. They provide free large bath towels. From the airport, take the 901 bus to the Broadmarsh station, then transfer to a direct train to Southern Cross. The hotel is a 5-6 minute walk from there, or you can take a tram if you prefer not to walk.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the central train station. The front desk staff were gentle and polite, and the room was spotless. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast for guests and also provides stoves, utensils, a microwave, two large freezers, and a washer/dryer. Even though I was away from home, it felt just like being there. It was a wonderful experience.
We had booked a room with a queen bed, the room we were given had a double. While at a birthday party I received a call and was offered to option to change rooms which I declined as I had no idea when we were getting back which ended up being late.
The heater did not work, the shower leaked water all over the floor and the cabin smelt like it had been locked up for months, a pretty disappointing stay
Amazing central location, great room, polite staff, clean room and area , even tho there’s a sharing bathroom. Please guys, since is winter in Melbourne, add a heater inside the room, cause it was freezing. Having a fan that gives only fresh air, on winter season, doesn’t make any sense. Thank you ! Great experience! Not recommended if you have a car. I had to pay 15$ extra for the parking.
Located in Marlo, Marlo Hideaway is within a 15-minute walk of Marlo Coastal Reserve and First and Second Islands Flora Reserve. This motel is 1.7 mi (2.7 km) from William Hunter Flora Reserve and 1.7 mi (2.7 km) from Brodribb River Flora and Fauna Reserve.
Enjoy recreation amenities such as an outdoor pool or take in the view from a garden.
A complimentary continental breakfast is served daily from 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM.
The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Make yourself at home in one of the 4 air-conditioned rooms featuring microwaves. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Conveniences include separate sitting areas and electric kettles, and you can also request irons/ironing boards.
Reminiscent of English pubs and Australian country pubs. Perfect for a solo traveller needing somewhere for a night to restock and recharge.
Staff are can-do and will communicate everything you need to know without being invasive at all.
The pub is busy downstairs and with good reason. The menu is diverse enough for most appetites. The common room absorbs sound and sports channels on.
Sticks to basics and succeeds. Other guests clearly get it too as all shared areas are kept clean and safe without any need for posting rules everywhere.
Definitely on my Melbourne list.

The hygiene was good, with timely cleaning of the bathroom and kitchen areas. The location in the CBD was fantastic, making it easy to reach all the attractions within the free tram zone. Overall, it's quite convenient for both short trips and longer stays. The only downside is the noise. Due to the large and diverse number of guests, the hallways, especially if you're on the ground floor near reception, can be very loud. If your room also faces the street, you'll have to contend with noise from both inside the hostel and the street at night, which is something to seriously consider if you're a light sleeper. Additionally, the showerhead in the bathroom wasn't very well designed.
The manager was very nice, the hotel rooms are located at 2/F but he is willing to help with the luggage carry even without request.
The hotel location is fantastic, only 20-30 mins to Melbourne central (one tram only after you get the skybus from airport as well).
supermarket, restaurant, cafe, gelato shop around as well.
Clean, big room, nice toilet&restroom, nice kitchen, nice laundry.
Highly recommend that hotel, definitely my priority choice if I come to Melbourne again.
The only bad side is the room at 2/F that you have to carry your stuff up and down if you buy lots of things. And watch out especially in rainy day as it’s a metal stair.
We stayed at NRMA Phillip Island Beachfront Holiday Park during our trip to Phillip Island and really enjoyed it. The beachfront location was excellent, peaceful, and family-friendly. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and equipped with a small kitchenette, which was very convenient for preparing simple meals for our kids. The park facilities were well maintained, and it was only a short drive to Penguin Parade and other attractions. Overall, it was a relaxing and convenient place for a family stay

It’s a nice little place that did what it needed to do to keep a roof over my head. Slightly annoying that you have to use the bathroom/shower in seperate areas within the hotel but that was already known once paying for a room in advance.

AAnonymous UserExcellent location for a stop by along the ocean road, 15 minutes drive to Apollo bay, quiet little property located at the foot of mountain and facing the sea, with fantastic ocean view and interesting rock and sand beach
The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room of bay view is spacious with a small sitting room and all necessary utensils
People just need to bring necessary food and drink to cook for themselves as there is a bit distance from the town center
A little advice though: please provide air-conditioner for the accommodations as it’s pretty hot in summer in the room. It’s not comfortable and the guest cannot sleep well in the summer heat

丁丁The guy at the front desk is very good, my English is not good, he very enthusiastically recommended the surrounding food, drink and fun, and also helped me buy a fishing permit to catch crabs, and stay here next time.
