Introduction
Okinawa's famous fish market, where you can see all kinds of lobsters, crabs, shellfish and marine fish are sold, and it is a unique experience. The seafood here is clean, tidy, cheap and fresh, without any fishy smell, and is loved by the locals.
The seafood in the First Market is not only fresh but also cheap, and the processing fee is much cheaper than other places in Sanya. The first time we went to the food stalls in other places, the price was much more expensive than the First Market, some were even more than 2 times more expensive. We had 2 meals of seafood, each costing about 700 yuan, while in the First Market, even the processing fee was no more than 400 yuan per meal.
Naha, the site of the ancient Ryukyu Kingdom's capital, Shuri Castle, is now the capital of Okinawa Prefecture. It was already a trading port in the mid-14th century and is now the largest political, economic and cultural center of the Ryukyu Islands. In 1972, Japan unilaterally obtained administrative rights over the region from the United States under the San Francisco Peace Treaty signed by the United States and Japan. Naha is a vibrant city where people are proud of their past. Even in the department stores and fashion stores on Kokusai Street, you can see a variety of Okinawan specialties for sale, such as lacquerware, textiles, glassware, and local Tsuboya pottery. In the countless souvenir shops on Heiwa Street, you can see all these and more goods piled up to the height of the eaves. The nearby Kocomo Market is a good place to experience Okinawa's unique food culture.
We gave up the Makishi Market which was full of tourists and chose the Tomari Port Fish Market where the locals go. When we bought the fish, we said that it was not enough to eat. As a result, the three of us ate ourselves silly. I feel that Okinawa is not as playable as Jeju Island. I did not go diving on the outlying islands. Of course, I think the cost-effectiveness of diving is not as high as that in the Philippines, hahahaha
I arrived at the fish market before dawn in the morning. Because I heard the front desk brother introduce the opening at 6 am the night before, it may be just after the Japanese New Year. Some shops have not officially opened. I found a shop that provides paella. There is a Chinese menu. 1000yen times are a bit supportive. However, the sea water in Okinawa is warm water, and the fish is not as tight as Hakodate, and the taste is slightly worse. But it's still worth it, hahaha.
We are traveling with the group as a scenic spot to the port fishing market. All kinds of seafood are dazzling. I really envy the Japanese people by the sea. There are such rich seafood to enjoy! Although seafood can't be taken away, it is also full of eyes! Give a few beautiful pictures! The last king crab feet only cost 500 yen, friends who have the opportunity to go don't forget to try it!
The Fish Market is an aquatic seafood vegetable market next to Naha Bo Port. Most of the stalls sell raw fish. There are one and half of them, and they are also boxed and cut sashimi, which is very affordable. You can buy some sashimi at the aquatic stall and eat it on the bench at the end of the market.
We are a car here, parking at the door, many sashimi for choice, we bought shrimp sashimi and large sashimi, the owner also sent us two small sashimi salad, we also ate raw, but a bit fishy, we felt that the sashimi was not as fresh as we bought in the supermarket, Although the supermarket is a bit more expensive, or the store problem we have seen, the owner has a good attitude, so I still recommend it here.
