Kaas pathaar (plateau) popularly known for the flower blossom - this is mini version of the valley of flowers in uttarakhand. It is beautiful and you will find a variety of flowers.. I personally did not like it much as it is no where in comparison with the Valley of Flowers, and I did visit the north very much the same year in July! But a good weekend getaway in Satara...

A friend recommended this place so we went during one of our raod trips. It is not something we would go to willingly at the first glance. We gave it a try nonetheless. And surprise! It serves one of the most delicious meals. A complete Maharashtrian cuisine, their chicken thali is mouth watering. Specially the chicken kheema. The thali has an option of chapati or bhakri. The veg thali is equally good. You will not get Punjabi food here so in case that is what you prefer then do not go there.

Kass is situated in Satara and it is being developed with changes being bought every month. One can try paneer tikka masala.

The place is still upcoming. There is good room for enhancement. The food is ok. The rooms were decent and comfortable. One room at the basement is not attractive.

You should visit this place only if you don&rsquo;t have any other option. The place is very dirty and the service is not good either. The food was very average. Not good in quality nor in taste for the price they charge for it.
