Great chicken salad and lunch, great staff and atmosphere. Would recommend for breakfast, you will not be disappointed at all. True southern home cooking .

The Ruby Slipper Cafe

This seemed like one of the more serious Jazz Clubs. We were at a wonderful show by Charmaine Neville. She&#39;s a regular so check her out. It is a small but comfortable space with good sound. We loved it.

Whilst wandering around the French Quarter we happened upon this Brasserie on the corner of Frenchman and Royal. We were ready for something to eat so thought we&rsquo;d give it a try. We weren&rsquo;t disappointed!! The food was the best we&rsquo;d had in New Orleans.

Get there just before they open, because it&#39;s small and the crowd waiting for a table got huge very quickly. Different take on Italian food, with lots of choices for entrees and wines. Had a great waitperson with suggestions.

Very nice meal. Burgers were well cooked and the baked potatoes was a welcomed surprise over fries. The huge pieces of garlic mixed in with the mushrooms was a little much for some but I am a garlic fan. I would definitely return.

This store has been selected as the best brunch in New Orleans for three consecutive years. Even if you come within the week, you may have to wait an hour to have a seat. Fortunately, you can queue up online in advance. We ordered pancakes and cochon Benedict (like the taste of pork pine), which were very delicious. His family&#39;s main thing is to start from scratch after ordering, so it is absolutely fresh. When eating, I don&#39;t know if it is psychological effect that there is such a fresh and homely feeling. Overall five stars, remember to queue up online in advance.
