I saw reviews, so we decided to go. Wow! Excellent food, excellent service!! And we had a ichnusa non filtrata.. in an ice cold glass, god it&rsquo;s a party in your mouth! Cheers guys keep up the good work!

we arrived in Monopoli on a Sunday night, the evening if the annual festival of the Republic so the walkway in front of Carlo Quinto was mobbed! It was fun watching the couples and families on their passgiatta. The food was excellent - a delicious carpaccio and swordfish steak for my husband, a very good orrecchieti w sausage ragu for me. only 4 stars for service because they were slammed and they gave the couple next to us our order which was identical! But it was fine, we chatted with them and enjoyed our delicious white wine while we waited.

Very disappointed with our meal after reading great reviews of Metae. The antipasto was ok, and then the primi and secondi seafood dishes both had strong yet unpleasant flavors. The mint potatoes with the secondi was the one and only small part of the meal that I enjoyed, though my wife liked the melanzane amtipasto. We chose to have dessert elsewhere.

Unfortunately, I chose this site based on tripadvisor reviews, which were related to the previous management. The menu on tripadvisor and the fork is still the previous management menu. The current management offers a different menu. The previous management provided fish breads, but the current one offers little choice and divides the same ingredients already ready between meals, breads and salads.

Very few places do vegan or vegetarian food in Monopoli. Room 21 make a real effort to put interesting dishes on the menu ( apart from fish and meat options). Nasi Goreng starter ( fantastic), vegan burger with sweet potato fries and salad ( fantastic). My daughter had king prawn starter and fresh ravioli with ham for main. Both were brilliant. Great service.  We sat outside in the quiet street near an old church and Italian apartments. Lovely authentic setting. Would recommend. Need to book though as it&rsquo;s not a huge restaurant. Lovely.

I am obsessed with the fried baby calamary and the vongole pasta with bottarga!  The best.  I highly recommend

We really enjoyed ourselves ! In less busy part of the old town ! Donato, our waiter was great . Recommended great food for us !

We had the same experience as getting a pizza, but the bread was so much lighter and was just as delicious. Our highlights were the mortadella with pistachio and the cacio e pepe polpette, both were amazing ????.

Best pizza in my whole life. Who knew pumpkin blossom was a pizza choice? Plus lemonchello terimesu out of this world. Great service as well. Reasonable.
