We met here for our first dinner date with friends after our dear friend returned to the Netherlands. I have visited before but was not so happy with the service then. Now we were happy, the service was kind and good. The food was good.

Very nice restaurant, amazing abience. The building used to be the gold vault of the Dutch National Bank, you can also visit the vault (now become the bar), beautiful inside. Food is good for price quality and location.

From the outside it looks like a nice, cosy restaurant. The staff was very friendly but the food was just really really bad in all aspects. Quality wise and price wise. The food was not fresh, no taste. The cooked and the raw ham was already turning white and had an old taste. You can&#39;t tell me they cut that freshly back there in the kitchen. The menu is outdated, as well as the music on the background. But these are small things compared to the lack of taste. Just because you are Italian does not mean that you are a chef or can cook.

We had a very nice evening. The service was a bit slow at First - but the waitor had a lot to do so it was understandable. The food was great and the Wine pairing very good. I had the bisque as a starter and a tartar for main. Plenty of food and generous wine glasses.

The food was really good but it wasn&rsquo;t coursed out well. You need to explicitly tell them that you want edamame and the lighter dishes first. We received our warm food and maki roll first, and had to follow up on our tataki which was forgotten and cancelled our edamame. They did comp us a drink in apology and the servers were very friendly. Just perhaps chaotic comms with the kitchen. Will return though, the food is fab and the people nice. I would expect automatic appropriate coursing in a place like this.

Great value for money, however the short rib we ordered could have been seasoned better and we would have appreciated more au jus

It was a nice experience, wouldn&rsquo;t say it&rsquo;s extraordinary, but the food and service was on good level and it&rsquo;s a very nice place to sit down and talk!
