Beautiful views for pre-dinner drinks, incredible food with just the right amount of theatre, excellent friendly service.

La Table de Plaisance

Lard et Bouchon offered amazing food to our group of meat eaters and vegetarians. The food was interesting, well prepared and tasted wonderful.  Our waiter helped us pick a wonderful wine to pair with our food. Leave room for dessert!

The last time I went to Bordeaux, France, I went to St. Emeron not far away. After I went there, I realized that it was a small town with famous wines, which was UNESCO named one of the world cultural heritages. . The restaurant we went to was very large, basically all locals came to eat. .There are a lot of red wine collection, but considering that there is no wine for lunch. . The oysters are super fresh, plus lemons, and the entrance is not fishy. . The small pizza before the meal will not be very full and soft. .The first time I ate this soup, I poured it into the good ingredients. It was quite delicious. I loved the sweetness of carrots. We ordered two fish. The French made seafood very good. The surface of the fish was particularly crisp. With the embellishment of potatoes and asparagus, the plate was also very beautiful. Oh wow!  Incredible.  Everything.  The drinks on the patio with 360 degree close proximity to medieval village.  The impeccable service: observant, precise, knowledgeable,discreet.  The divine food: presentation, taste, texture, harmony, sequence. The superb wine pairings.  The decor: modern but timeless, luxurious but comfortable. Highest praise does not suffice.

Do not hesitate, book this 5* experience. Everything was superb, the service was on point and all the little extras went above and beyond.

Table de Pavie is a real treat - the dining room is glamorous, the service special and the meal a wonderful journey of tastes and textures.  The sommelier chose two perfect wines to match our menu choices. This was our second visit and it was even better.  Taking coffee and fresh madeleines on the terrace with  the best view of St Emilion - an afternoon with friends to remember forever.

Sylvain was very personable and steered us in the right direction with a great bottle of wine.  Food was of great quality.  A bit noisy if you are sitting next to a large group, but otherwise a great evening.
