Fantastic birthday lunch for my wife. Every dish was excellent with great combination of flavours, and the dessert with rhubarb was spectacular.
Nothing to fault with this restaurant. Our lunch was innovative, beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Service was exceptional: friendly but always very professional. And the room? Well, when you have a restaurant attached to a Relais et Chateaux there is no need to discuss this. What was also exceptionally nice was that they were prepared to offer us a pared down menu and we appreciated a great deal the lesser amount of food. For the wine lovers, do not despair. A good wine list prepared with local knowledge and attention awaits you. No quibbles here at all. Excellent in all respects.

Excellent restaurant in a 5-star hotel on a little island just behind the sea-front. At lunchtime on weekdays they offer a single fixed three-course menu. However they gave us a complimentary glass of champagne and canapés, as well as amuse-bouche before the first course. The food was wonderful and the service was very professional. The set weekday lunch is €49 which is amazing value for such quality.
We had the 75 euro set (no choice) menu. There seemed to be no a la carte available - just another longer 'Signature' tasting menu, which we had planned, but decided not, to return for. Most of the courses were quite delicious, but the main course of Bonito in raspberry sauce was either very poorly conceived or executed. Not nice. On the plus side, the waiter helped with wine choices and another good point was there were many possibilities of wine by the glass-all at the same price of 12 euros.
