I recently dined at RIB Beef &amp; Wine, and while the food and atmosphere were excellent, what truly made the experience unforgettable was our waiter, Hugo. From the moment we were seated, Hugo&#39;s warm and friendly demeanor set the tone for the evening. His recommendations were spot-on, guiding us to dishes that perfectly suited our tastes.A highlight was when Hugo noticed our interest in trying the restaurant&#39;s chimichurri. Despite some supply issues, he made a special effort to bring us a fresh batch that was still being prepared. His dedication to customer satisfaction truly stood out.The food was delicious, with each dish perfectly cooked, and the ambiance was inviting and relaxed. However, the best part of our visit was Hugo&#39;s genuine kindness and exceptional service. If you visit RIB Beef &amp; Wine, I highly recommend asking for Hugo. He truly elevates the dining experience.

I saw the sticker to eat, there was no reservation, and I saw the locked door and the doorbell at the door. I rang the doorbell, the waiter said that there was a place, and the mood was suddenly bright! The store decoration is very classical, very Portuguese, the walls are Portuguese blue and white tiles, and the table plate is also very good. The menu cover is written in Portuguese with Michelin recommended restaurants. When ordering, let the waiter recommend it. The waiter opened the mouth to be lobster. How to cost-effective and how to eat Barabara... Then he politely told him that I would study it myself. I called the same waiter to order at about the same time, and then started selling lobster....I didn&#39;t want to eat lobster....I ordered fish soup and Portuguese classic soup, salmon, grilled salmon. The waiter said that we share, and he divided the two dishes into half of each of our plates. The dishes were well done, the salmon was not as salty as the legend, the salmon was fried well, the fish soup that my friend ate was said to be delicious, and she didn&#39;t say where it was delicious. Except that the ordering waiter seems to be inclined to chop Asians (the Chinese couple sitting at the door table really ordered a lobster), this store is not bad.

Amazing meal!  We had the full selection of courses with wine pairings, presented with amazing local (Portuguese) references. Truly enjoyed!

The waiter was very kind and speaks good English.The food as great. I took the cabbage soup as a starter, so good! For mains, I ordered the black angus. Well baked and good combination of vegetables and potatoes. Very nice restaurant, authentic feeling. Visiting from Belgium alone, was a very nice experience.

Superb meal and service at RIB in Porto.Booked in advance and was lucky enough to book on a night where they were offering 50% discount on the food.The tomato salad starter was really nice. We shared the Tomahawk steak with sides and it was absolutely delicious.Service was superb .Highly recommend.

We had a great late lunch on the pario. Claudio was very friendly, attentive and everything came out perfect! Great location overlooking the river promenade basking in the warmth of mid September sun. Wonderful lunch experience!.

We went to Rib for our 40th wedding anniversary. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and the food were lovely. We also got a free glass of port and a cake to celebrate the occasion. Our host was very warm and friendly. It&rsquo;s an expensive restaurant but well worth a visit

The range of steaks is unmatched in Porto and indeed most places. Wine list has some unusual bottles too, not all of them very expensive. I found a Baga from Balcalh&ocirc;a, better known for their Portuguese Bordeaux blend, but this Baga wine from Barraida was also impressive. Overall it&#39;s a fairly pricy place by Porto standards, but, it&#39;s in a prime location and the service is high end. I thoroughly enjoyed the 200 day wet aged sirloin, it tasted distinctive in a good way.

The food was good. The restaurant ambience was good. Mathew, our wait staff, was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our dinner.

I ordered fish soup and Portuguese classic vegetable soup, cod, and grilled sea bass. I told the waiter that we should share, so he divided the two dishes into half on each of our plates. The dishes were good. The cod was not as salty as rumored. The sea bass was fried well. The fish soup my friend had was said to be very delicious, but she didn&#39;t say why it was delicious. Except that the waiter who took orders seemed to favor Asians (the Chinese couple sitting at the table at the door actually ordered a lobster), this restaurant was pretty good.

From our octopus salad appetizer to the beef puff pastry entree we shared to the fabulous desserts&hellip; this was a 5 star experience!  The sommelier was fantastic, sharing his knowledge of port wines and made wonderful suggestions.

Very nice sushi, a bit pricy compared to others away from the river but the view is definitely worth it. Nice staff and easy access. You can see the moon above the river

The two beef dishes and all 3 desserts we had were delicious.  Beef Wellington and Beef w Fois Gras were both flavorful and tender. The duck tasted good but was a little chewy.
