The town of Pérouges is known as one of the most beautiful in France and has a rich European medieval atmosphere. We decided to drive south to experience this historic place. 🚗 It takes about 40 minutes to drive from Lyon, or about 30 minutes by TER train (with timetable). Parking costs 2 euros per day, which is very affordable. The visitor center provides a guide for the tour, which costs 0.2 euros per person. Museum tickets 5 euros per person. The flowers on the roadside are so beautiful, it is recommended to bring a camera, and it is a blockbuster! Remember to wear thick shoes, because the road in the town is mainly a stone road, it may hurt a little when walking. There are several restaurants in the town, but because the terrace can only be opened, there are many people in line. Must try Perugian specialties galettes de p érouges, any one is delicious. We found one casually, 1.5 euros/piece, the whole pizza-sized cake is tender in the outer and inside, very magical! But a bit sweet, it is recommended to pair with a cup of coffee. The town is about 45 minutes away, you can bring picnic mats and food, many places are suitable for picnics. Perugia is not only beautiful, but special. It is said that it was built when the Italians settled, so the souvenir shop is also full of symbolic weapons and armor. #Discover a Terrace Restaurant #Picnic #City Humanities Handbook #Ancient Town and Village Worth Going #Capture City Humanities
