Wonderful food at a value point in a very nice venue.But, the restaurant is very under-staffed.  Most of the diners arrived within a half hour and the kitchen and staff could not provide adequate service.They were working very hard and you should dine here. Just prepare for a longer meal than you might expect.

We always have a nice time when we eat at Le Solferino.  We go there mostly because the staff is always friendly and accommodating and we enjoy the brasserie feel.

We had not been back in several years to this charming restaurant located on the edge of a marvelous garden in the middle of Paris. We were not disappointed. The dishes were creative and oh so tasty. We started with the shrimp tempura, cucumbers and kiwi in two wonderful sauces and a pate of veal and foie gras - both were excellent. For our next courses, we had the braised veal with stuffed morels and sea bass with green asparagus. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. We finished off the meal with the pistachio financier accompanied by pistachio ice cream and a &quot;lemon&quot; sponge cake and herb ice cream made to look like the sponge cake was from the sea! Everything was sensational and we highly recommend a visit to this gem of a restaurant that has been restored to its past glory.

Basic brasserie. Good location and quick food service. Menu was very extensive, but then leads one to believe it&rsquo;s not freshly &lsquo;made&rsquo; on site. Otherwise how could they offer 40 different choices. I had the escargot which was lack luster, but the rest of the food ordered was decent and very good portions.

I have been there twice for Saturday lunch with my family. My Asian wife classified the cuisine as &quot;home cooking&quot; and that is a real kudos to her! The room is quiet and elegant if a little dated. Most outstanding are the two brothers who have served for many years following in their father&#39;s footsteps and the fascinating wine list. The team has long-standing relationships with many producers from all over France and knows their passions very well. They are always ready to make suggestions for unusual bottles at any price. All in all, a quiet Saturday lunch was a pleasure - we will repeat again soon!

We had chosen the restaurant for a short dinner mainly because of its proximity to a location where we later had an event. We were positively surprised that it turned out to be such a good choice. The atmosphere was very friendly, the quality of the food was good and the staff welcoming and attentive.

We wanted to find a good fish restaurant in Paris and Gaya fit the bill. We started with a glass of champagne. After the amuse bouche, we had the large crab appetizer and the red tuna tartare. Both were very good: the red tuna tartare was light but filling and the crab was mixed with mayonnaise, and still good. We split the sole meuniere and ordered a side of the girolles (mushrooms) with almonds.  This was excellent.  We told the waiter that my wife was lactose intolerant and he held his hand on his stomach and said &quot;Me too.&quot;  Then, when they brought the mushrooms, they split it into two plates: one for me, with the cheese, and one for my wife, without it.  Very considerate! The sole came with a caulflower / buckwheat mixture, in a bowl, somewhat thick and very tasty. I had a glass of a white wine from the Cote de Provence.  I read the wine list and they have a good selection of champagnes, wines from the Loire and Burgundy (Tortochot, Domaine de Perdrix, Chateau de Chamirey, etc.) The interior is quite comfortable - a calming dark green, with a set of posts for a divider between the different sections of the restaurant - and a beautiful and modern glass-enclosed wine cellar.  There are windows to the street along one side. Most of all, the waiters were very friendly and seemed to genuinely get along, the service was both attentive and casual at the same time. We are often in Paris and have put this restaurant on our list of places to return to.

Delicious food and beautifully presented and served. Nothing over overly nor undersalted and the service was discreet and not wordy- no lengthy explanations of each dish so we could talk uninterrupted. The wine by the glass list was short but well chosen and all 3 courses were served at a gentl pace. Loved it

lovely meal; ambiance, service, terrific flavours, excellent cheese selection, spot on all round. their bar sauvage was simple perfection; so tough to execute that well. Thoughtful wine list. Clearly a place on top of its game. A truly enjoyable experience from start to finish.

This restaurant now has two Michelin stars. The dishes are very good. The grilled fish is very good. The grilled foie gras is very good, a very fatty piece that melts in your mouth. There is also plenty of red wine.

Loved the food, loved my server/waiter/manager, not sure I didn&#39;t ask, but he was perfect. I ate there in 2021 and I&#39;m so glad I went back.
