I ate twice at Brend'Oliv during a recent visit to Nancy. The food, Parmentier d'agneau, was so delicious that I returned three nights later. The second dinner, lamb shank confit, was even better. The staff were friendly, efficient and accommodating. The servings were so substantial that, alas, I had no room for dessert. The only minus point is that price for the Parmentier d'agneau was incorrect (lower bu Eur 5) in the English menu.

Arriving in Nancy and waiting for our nearby appartment to be ready, we stopped here for lunch. Sharing a salad with goat cheese as starter, a tuna tataki for the lady and a duck filet for me, finishing with a Mousse au Chocolat and a coffee, we had a great meal. all dishes were excellent.
A pleasant restaurant - the food (lamb cutlets and a casserole of fish and shellfish) was very good. Service friendly and ambience fine if a bit uninspiring.
Salmon gravelax and a to-die-for souris d'agneau, followed by cheesecake and panna cotta, accompanied by a kir pêche and a couple of glasses of wine. 76€ including 20% Fork discount.
Cosy restaurant, friendly staff. The table we had felt a bit cramped. Food was ok except for the gravad lax - that had very little to do with what is expected for that dish. It turned out to be smoked salmon with some salad that did not approach the taste of gravad lax.
