Called in for an evening meal without booking (on a Saturday evening when it was busy) but they managed to find us a table. Very welcoming & good choice of menu, we were given complementary glasses of gazpacho which were delicious. My husband & I had the duck 'special' -a perfectly cooked (pink) duck breast in a strawberry & elderflower sauce, delicious veg & potatoes. Our friends had the lamb chops & a rib eye steak -again perfectly cooked & very tender.
